Happiness is This by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!

Tania joining you today to share the last of my DT projects for February,  I have created a layout.

"Happiness is This"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Lattice Heart Set
*Frame Hand Drawn Heart
*Mollie's Butterfly Set
*6x4 Phrase Stick Set 5
*Foliage Set 11

I used the gorgeous Paper Rose Rainbow Twirl 2.0 Paper Collection to create the base for for my layout.  Once I had created my background I set about putting my page together.
I fussy cut the beautiful large flower wreath from one of the papers and added it to the center of my base page.

I coloured the Lattice and Hand Drawn Frame Hearts with Lavender Blue Opal Polish and once dry I randomly dabbed on some Golden Glow Opal Polish.  I framed my photo with the largest Hand Drawn  Heart chippie, added it to my page and then added the remaining Heart chippies across the page.
I added some flowers along the bottom of my photo and along the left side.

I coloured the Mollie's Butterflies and Foliage Set with the Golden Glow Opal Polish.   Once dry I added the Butterfly chippies and cut the Foliage chippies into pieces and tucked them in among the flowers. I finished of the page with a title from the Phrase Stick Set 5 which I also coloured with the Golden Glow Opal Polish.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

"Loving these Moments with You"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

This is my first inspiration for this month of March. For some reason,
March is a month I don’t like very much.

So I decided to start with a layout that reminds me of beautiful memories.
With this picture of my eldest son and Mia who was only a few days old.

"Loving these Moments with You"

The 2Crafty Chipboard used:

- Title Loving these Moments with You
- 12 x 12 Circle Frames
- Lattice-Hearts
- Mini Word Set 3 "Cute"

As always, I prepare the chipboards by applying a layer of white gesso.

I chose pastel shades that harmonize with my photo and give a lot of softness to my layout.

I begin my arrangement with the large circle that I embellished in a random way
with powder to emboss and ink in shades of pink.

For hearts, I used pink embossing powder uniformly, then in the center I added white.

I voluntarily left some parts of the chipboard, this is not a defect (lol).
I didn’t stick them flat to relieve them.

For the title I did the same thing, but in white and then I added pink paint to the brush.
I fixed it with adhesive foam to lift it.

With the word "cute" I add a feeling to my layout I love these mini-words.

Good scrap to you. See you soon.

"forever"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Good morning all!

I am happy to meet you again to present my second inspiration for this month of March.

Through the disasters of our world it is comforting to be able to continue to create while forgetting all that for a few moments.

I made a rather bright layout with a photo of Mia taken last summer.

"forever"

The 2Crafty Chipboards used:

- Mini Word Set 2
- Frame Loopy Love Hearts
- Lattice-Hearts
- Lacy Border Set
- Fine Floral Corner
- Circle Tags Set 1

To start I apply a layer of white gesso on each chipboard.

I chose two colors of embossing powder from Lindy's Gang to embellish them "Purely White"
and a turquoise blue "Madonna Robe Blue Gold".

I used a very bright white to bring a lot of contrast to my layout.
I cut out a "Fine Floral Corner" chipboard so I could arrange it my way. I love the finesse of this chipboard.

I use the frame in the background of my layout that I previously modified in turquoise blue like the heart, it frames and embellishes my photo well.
I used two words, the "Circle Tags" chipboard was just rubbed with a bit of "bronze" wax.

That's it, I'm done, thank you for your visit and I hope you find the time to create.

See you tomorrow for other inspirations with 2Crafty!

Life Documented - Always Remember
By Jennifer Snyder

Jennifer Snyder here today!
I recently received my box of 2Crafty new releases and I always smile.  Opening the
box and seeing the designs in person is an incredible moment.  So I sat down and
got to working - pairing the chipboard with the Flying Unicorn kit.

As crafters, I am betting we all look for versatility when we buy products.
The little 2Crafty  "Mini Hexagon Clumps" are perfect versatile pieces.
They are great fillers in clusters, perfect for adding texture to a page, and double as
both feminine and masculine.  What could be more versatile?

So on to my first piece. This is a layout I made featuring my Mom.  I took this photo
in June of her on a family vacation to the ocean in New Hampshire.  It captures her
fun happy spirit.  My Mom is absolutely the kindest person I know so I wanted to
 surround her in bold beauty.

The 2Crafty chippies I used are
"Life Documented"-title and "Mini Hexagon Clumps"
-merely painted bold dark black.

Here are some more close ups.  The papers used are BoBunny and are from
 the September Flying Unicorn kit.

You can see the chipboard title,"Life Documented" bold and beautifully displayed.

The "mini hexagon clumps" work nicely as cluster fillers here and add pops of texture.

Layout Two

The second piece is a special page made once again from the Flying Unicorn Sept Kit,
but the subject matter takes a bit of a turn as a tribute piece.  This is a page made for a friend.
She sent me the photo of the darling boys, both very special and near to her heart.

In this piece, I used 2Crafty "Frame - Viney Circles", which resembles leaves in a wreath.
I also used the "Lattice Hearts"  and separated them , though using them together is
spectacular.  Finally the "Mini Word Set 2" added the perfect sentiment to this page.

Here are more close ups.  The chipboard was painted gold and a little  gold
and pink embossing powder added to them.

Here is a shot to show the beautiful golden glimmer of the lattice heart.

Until next time.
