Pretty in Pink with Lisa Amiet

 Hello all!

It's Lisa here on the blog today,
 and I have some pretty little pink cards to share with you

2Crafty Chipboard used:

 

For my first card, I have used one of the

'Circle Lace Panels',

that I have left raw and cut into pieces.

I have also used one of the 'ATC Words 1',

also left raw and layered with a piece of the panel.

I have also used one of the 'Lattice Leaves',

in amongst my flowers.

For my second card, I have used some of the 

'Mini Hexagon Clumps', which I have left raw.

I have also used one of the 

'ATC Words 1',

 layered with one of the flower elements. 

To finish, I have again used one of the 'Lattice Leaves',
tucked in with my flowers.

I hope that you like these pink themed cards.

A little bit of brightness for somebody's day!

"Just you " quick and easy video tutorial by Jenny J.

                                                              Good morning everyone!

Here is a quick video process of my today's layout.

You can see above that I've applied some texture paste on my background.

I've done some random stamping too.

My title "Just you" is heat embossed with a pretty powder 

with chunky pieces of glitter in it:

that's what gives that texture :)

Below, a piece of "Heidi's vines" (just the top of them),

also heat embossed.

"Sharon's butterflies" chippie is easily treated with a Lindy's spray.

Love, love, love that "Circle lace panel": didn't you?

You can see this gorgeous piece all around my picture.

It it simply painted with gesso and colored with a spray 

but using a brush to give a watercolor look.

My focal point wouldn't be finish without some art stones and white drops.

I hope it will give you some inspiration :)

Love is in the Air - with Karan Gerber

Hi Friends and Welcome! 

Its Karan Gerber here to host the blog and today I am a Guest Detective over on
 the CSI- Color Stories Inspiration blog and we from 2 Crafty have been invited
 to join in on the challenge.

So today I am sharing a layout with you. But first the Challenge.

My take on the Challenge:

I cut apart the circle lace panel into strips heat embossed using
 Seth Apters Embossing Powders..

on all of the chipboard pieces except the title were heat embossed.

To add a feminine touch to the layout I wrapped my 

photo mats in twine to tie in with the color scheme.

I colored the title with chalk ink Baja Blue and edged it with Dragons eye Sparks.

The top border, which is cut from the circle panel, I heat embossed with 

Seth Apters Deep Sea and dabbed a bit of Ancient Amber on top.

The flower centers were heat embossed too with Ancient Amber Embossing powders

 as was the Leafy Shrub peeking out of the flower clusters. 

The floral frame was heat embossed using Seth Apters Dirty Sand, 

I love how that powder looks, so amazing!

'Timeless' Mixed Media LayoutBy Kripa Koushik

Hello friends,

My project this month is a 12x12 scrapbook layout, 

inspired by the mood board at Mixed Media Place.

As always, all the chipboard pieces were given a few coats of white gesso. I've cut up
Ella's border into the individual flowers and tucked in between the layers. Can you
 spy gold on the Ella's border flowers, its from gold foil that was lying around my desk.
 I also added some gold foil to the background.

I've also tucked pieces of Circle Lace Panel under paper layers. This chipboard
 piece was only coated with white gesso and stamped over in a few random places.

All the other chipboard pieces were sprayed pink.

Cherish yesterday by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

This month, 2Crafty is sponsoring over at  More Than Words blog and I was invited to take part in some of the challenges as a guest designer. 

The challenges was "Vintage" and "Yesterday". 

They inspired me to create a nice layout around one of my wedding pictures. 

I wanted to create a vintage ambience around my black and white picture, by using a wood textured background along with a dull color palette as well as by applying a patina finish on some of the chipboards. 

In the background, I've placed the "Circle Lace Panel" which I left at its natural chipboard color. 

On top of the "Circle Lace Panel", I've put the "Frame Yvette's", on which I used a vintage bronze enamel Powder.

For the "Foliage Set 1", I've applied amethyst-colored ink roughly and traced the contour with black ink. On the "Pretty Flowers", I've applied some amethyst embossing ink then applied pearly white embossing powder on top.

For the title, "Cherish", from the "Fine Word Set 1", I used metallic silver embossing powder and traced the contour with black ink.

In this layout, I've used the following 2Crafty Chipboards:

March inspirations by Lilibleu

Hello 2Crafty fans!

This is Lilibleu here today, giving you my March projects.

For the first one - that I titled "Capture The Moment" - I wanted to make a page with spring colors. I found on Pinterest a very nice photo of this little girl which matched perfectly with the colors and atmosphere I wanted.

2Crafty Chipboards used :

- Capture The Moment title

-Ariel Spray

- Pointed Doily Frames 

My title "Capture The Moment" is embossed with black powder to make it stand out on my page.

The chipboards "Circle Lace Panel" and "Ariel Spray" are painted with purple metallic paint and the chipboard "Pointed Doily Frames" is painted with yellow metallic paint to perfectly respect the combo of colors I chose for my project.

The chipboard "Angies Vines" is also painted with metallic purple paint. 

To make my page I used the combo of colors proposed by Lindy's Gang

"Adorable"

To realize this second project, I took inspiration from More Than Words' March challenge. I used a photo of my youngest, now 9 years old. I love this picture, I find him so cute as I watch him sleeping quietly, "comfortably" on his favorite blanket.

- word Adorable Script

- Cassie's Flourishes

- 6 Clock Face Frames

The title "Adorable" is embossed with black powder to bring it out.

To respect the combo of colors, I left the other chipboards natural. They are already so beautiful that they don't need anything more.

I love the big size and the vegetal design of the chipboard "Cassie's Flourishes".
