Christmas Cuties
my last layout for 2Crafty
by Jenny J.

                                                          Happy Christmas time everyone!

This is it!

My last layout with this fabulous team!

I am leaving you with this Xmas themed layout,
on which I applied snowflake paste over a stencil on my background.

These are the chipboards that are on this layout

*Fine Snowflakes
*Starbright snowflakes
*Holly twig
*Deer head set
*Christmas Cuties

I wanted this layout to be festive and sparkling.
That's why I chose to add shimmer paint on "Starbright snowflakes" and "Fine snowflakes".

Above, you can also see "Holly twig" chippies,
heat-embossed in green and with a touch of red stickles.

For the title, "Christmas Cuties",
I've used an ancient gold powder to heat embossed it.
Really like that the color matches my flower's centers.

The last chipboard piece is one of "Deer Head set".
That one is simply treated with 2 color of paint
to give him some texture.

Do you like Christmas time?
It will be different this year but keep the magic alive 😉
Wishing you all the love and support from your dear ones.

It's the season to SPARKLE
a XMAS layout
by Jenny J.

                                                                          Hi Everyone

Here is my first inspiration for December.

The chipboards involved are

*Doodled frames
*Bauble ornament
*word It's time to SPARKLE
*Winter twig

I've started by applying clear gesso on my background and then,
heavy gesso with my brayer.
I've built up my focal point on this whiter area.

As you can see above, a really cute frame is on my picture.
This "Doodled frames" piece is painted with a minty rustic paint
and lightly rubbed with a metallic one.

Same treatment was applyed on one of the "Bauble ornament".

For the other chippie of that set,
it was heat embossed in red and
I've putted a piece of scrap paper under to make it pop.

There is a few pieces of "Winter twig" as well.
They are only treated with 2 colors of brown paints

Finally, the word "It's the season"
is covered with 2 different embossing powders.

This is it!
Hope you will have a wonderful time despite this Covid situation.
Stay safe everyone xx

"Perfect as YOU Are"
A Sweet and Tender Layout
by Jenny J.

  Hi everyone!

Here am I today with a new inspiration for you.

Here are the 2Crafty chipboards that I've used here
*Mini branches
*Foliage set 5
*Perfect as YOU are
*Diamond chunks
*Flower doileys

As usual, I've worked on my background at the beginning,
but we can barely see that now so forget it !

In my focal point, I've mixed papers, cardboard and chippies.
The "Diamond chunks bits" are covered with black gesso and wax.
We can see those pieces also at the bottom of my layout.

In that pic above, you can also see a piece of "Flower doileys", heat embossed in white
and a "Mini branches", simply sprayed with a Lindy's green spray.

Others chippies are treated those ways.
You will see that in the following pictures.

"Flower doileys"

"Foliage set 5"

I've tried something different on my title.
I've painted "Perfect as YOU are" with my irresistible spray
to give a glossy and bold effect on the word.

Did you like the mix of pink and green?

Thanks for stopping by!
Stay safe! xx

Memories Of You
A Quick & Easy VIDEO TUTORIAL
By Jenny J.

  Hello 2Crafty fans!

Hope you all are safe and healthy.

Here is a new video tutorial for you along with my new layout.

TO VIEW VIDEO CLICK HERE

For the first time, I've treated my title piece, "Memories of you" with deco foil.
I've simply prepped my chippie with Tombow glue and let it dry a bit.
When it was still sticky, I've pressed my foil on with my fingers and my bone folder.

Really love that bright shinny look :)

On my picture, you will see a "Polaroid frame".
That one is treated with gesso and distress stain.
On the edges, I've applied distress ink to give some depth.
You can see that below, at the left of the "Leafy silhouette".

All those foliage pieces are heat embossed with a glittery gold powder.

A lovely piece that I used here is "Stitched lace border".
That chipboard is also embossed with a deep emerald green powder.

Hope you will like my layout!

Thanks for stopping by!

Forever In My Heart
Memories From The Past
by Jenny J.

 Hello everyone!

Here is a different style of  layout for me today,
more grungy style...

“Forever In My Heart”

There is a lot of 2Crafty chippies on my layout...

*Forever in my heart
*giant gears & cogs001
*Steampunk gears medium
*Steampunk strips

First of all, I've  applied clear gesso and a texture paste
with a stencil on my background.
Then, I've built up my clustering by layering the chipboard
and chipboard elements to give dimension.

Above, you can see part of "Steampunk strips" treated with rust effect paste,
pieces from "Giant gears and cogs" painted with black gesso and Lindy's squirt and
some others, black gesso, 3D gel medium with a stencil and a lots of waxes.

The next pic will show you another piece of "Giant gears and cogs"
treated the same way as the previous one and a smaller one too,
from "Steampunk gears medium"
covered with black gesso but also with embossing paste and powder.

Below, the title, "Forever in my heart",
treated with black gesso and copper toned wax.

Again, you will observe "Steampunk strips" with a rusty effect,
gears chippies treated just as the previous ones.

Did you like that grungy style?
It's my grandfather in the pic.
Miss him so much 💓

Stay safe everyone!
Thanks for stopping by xx

A Love Story
Loving Memory Layout
by Jenny J.

Hello everyone,

It's my turn on the blog and here is my layout for today.

2Crafty Chipboard Used.....

*Flourish adornment set 4
*A love story
*Mini Flourish bits
*View finder

First of all, as always, I've applied a coat of clear gesso on my background paper
and then, heavy gesso through a stencil.
I've started my focal point with papers scraps and ephemeras.

Above, you will see my title word, "A love Story",
heat embossed in white.

All of three pieces from "Mini flourish bits" and "Flourish adornment set 4"
are also heat embossed in white.
You can see that in the following pictures.

The last chipboard here is a lovely "View finder"

That piece is heat embossed also but with ivory powder.
Finally, I've aded flowers, art stones and homemade foliage and that was it for this time.

Hope it gives you some inspiration, see you next time!
In the meantime, stay safe!
