#CHERISH by Tania Ridgwell

 Hi there!

Tania you today to share the first of my DT projects for October.
  I have created a layout.

"#CHERISH"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Mini # Word Set 1
*Celtic Square Asst Set 1
*Frame Yvette's

I have used the beautiful Paper Rose 'Ink & Ivory' Collection to create the base for my Layout.

I first painted the Celtic Squares and Cherish from the Mini # Word Set chippies with a Posca white paint pen. I left Yvette’s Frame chippie raw for this page, as I thought it tied in beautifully with the colours of the papers.

To construct my page, I added my photo to the right side of my base page and tucked Yvette’s Frame chippie underneath the top section of my photo. I embellished around my photo with lots of beautiful paper blooms, tucking the Celtic Square chippies amongst the blooms to create a pretty layered effect. To finish off my page, I added the Cherish title chippie to the left side of my photo.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Life Documented
a layout by Marie Claude Rodier

Hi lovelies,

Most of my layouts are about my kids and documenting our everyday life.
But once in a while I like to create a layout about our doggie, Ernest.
He holds a special place in our family and in our hearts!

Isn't he the cutest with his tie and his serious look!
A rare quiet moment that only happens when he is watching his "friend" aka the cat!!!

"Life Documented"

"Life Documented" title was embossed with teal powder.

"Mini Flourish Bits" were embossed with dark bronze powder and highlighted with white gesso.

"Frame Yvette's" was first embossed with golden green powder, then covered with bronze wax
and finally highlighted with white gesso.

Cherish yesterday by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

This month, 2Crafty is sponsoring over at  More Than Words blog and I was invited to take part in some of the challenges as a guest designer.
The challenges was "Vintage" and "Yesterday".
They inspired me to create a nice layout around one of my wedding pictures.

I wanted to create a vintage ambience around my black and white picture, by using a wood textured background along with a dull color palette as well as by applying a patina finish on some of the chipboards.

In the background, I've placed the "Circle Lace Panel" which I left at its natural chipboard color.

On top of the "Circle Lace Panel", I've put the "Frame Yvette's", on which I used a vintage bronze enamel Powder.

For the "Foliage Set 1", I've applied amethyst-colored ink roughly and traced the contour with black ink. On the "Pretty Flowers", I've applied some amethyst embossing ink then applied pearly white embossing powder on top.

For the title, "Cherish", from the "Fine Word Set 1", I used metallic silver embossing powder and traced the contour with black ink.

In this layout, I've used the following 2Crafty Chipboards:

Frame Yvette's [fr0083]
Circle Lace Panel [660034]
Fine Word Set 1 [m00656]
Foliage Set 1 [m00567]
Pretty Flowers [m000574]

I've really enjoyed taking part in this challenge! I hope you like the result and that it gave you some new ideas for your own creations!
 See you soon.

Soft Box and Card by Elena Martynova

Hi lovelies! Elena here with a little inspiration for you!

This set of boxes and cards I made as a gift to my mother.
Even though I have been scrapbooking for 5 years, I do something
 for my Mother very rarely.
I do not know why :)))

I really had fun using the Frame Yvette's to create a neat design for this box.

I also added a lovely butterfly and put it on a chiffon flower.
It turned out very gently and gracefully!

I attached the second butterfly on the other side of the frame.

That's what my box looks like inside.

In the card I wrote for my Mother a few warm words :)))
I think it would be nice to reread. Because we so rarely tell our mothers that we love them!

Openwork heart as a symbol of my great love for my Mother.

For this project, I used the following awesome 2Crafty Chipboard:

OK, that is all from me today!!! Thanks so much for stopping by,
I hope you will take the time to follow the blog,
and also check out our Facebook Page!!

See you again next month!!
Have a great day!!

For my title I used the word "Wonder" from the  mini word set.

I used a piece of Dandelions among the floral cluster.
I also used ATC tiny hearts and stars  which is heat embossed with glitter
embossing powder.

February Inspiration by Debbie Burns

Hi everyone!
Debbie here with you today to share my February projects.

"A Moment Captured"

I love the outdoors and two of my favorite things are butterflies and flowers.
I found this beautiful butterfly on Pinterest and was drawn to the colors.   I applied
some misting, inking and random stamping to the background paper.

2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Addy's Butterflies
Heidi's Vines
A Moment Captured

I applied brown and melon embossing powder to the Heidi's Vines
and added some coral microbeads.

The Addy's Butterfly was embossed with a mixture of brown and antique taupe powders.

I used the same mixture of brown and antique taupe embossing powders on the title.

"Love You"

I went for a softer color pallete on my next layout.  Lots of flowers, butterflies and layers!

Love You
Flourish Adornment 2

Frame Yvette's was embossed with oatmeal.

The Flourish Adornment 2 was embossed with oatmeal also.  I cut it into 2 pieces.

Here I've placed the other half of the Flourish Adornment 2.

Love the title!
I embossed it with an antique pink powder.

I hope I've inspired you today!
