Hello and a warm welcome all of you 2 Crafty fans!

I'm back sharing this fun/boho style layout featuring yours truly

and some fabulous 2 Crafty Chipboard

Using the Circle Tag 'Journey' and 2021 for my title

and inking them with Distress 'Peacock feather' and 'Victorian Velvet'..

I wanted all of the Fine delicate different types of arrows 

I have used, to be noticed so I went with inking them all black.. 

AND DON'T they look just fantastic!!! 

The super cute Doilies also have been inked, with Distress 'Fossilized amber' 

then I've cut the larger doily into two & adhering a few of the fussy cut flowers 

over parts of the doilies just to finish this page of nicely...

Layout Friends by Elena Martynova

Hello dear friends!!!!

It's Elena Martynova here today and I'm so excited 

to share my new layout.

In the new year, I want to change something in my work.
Find a new direction or new style maybe...
I want the layout to not only be a beautiful design for a photo,
but also could tell a whole story.
Today my story is about two women who have been friends since childhood.
 They are still interesting together, although it would seem
they know everything about each other.

I needed a calm background and took a paper from 49 and Market. 

Added stamping and cutting pieces with a die from @eco_paper , 

which I painted with lilac spray.⠀

 

Ornate Gateway   in the background are covered with bronze embossing  powder

 and slightly tinted with white paint.

At the bottom, I added the title "Friends" from the Arrow Word Set 2

And the top of the layout is decorated with a luxurious Chandelier 4.

 I wanted to decorate it with a Buffalo skull from Western Set 1 .

 Don't even ask why? I don't know :)))))))))))

"Skaterboy" PLUS Video Tutorial By Sabrina Turpin

 Hello 2Crafty fans!

Summer is nearly over here in Canada, kids are back to school and days are getting
shorter and shorter... this means more time to stay inside and work on some new layouts!
This time around I have a new layout to reveal that features my son who is turning 10 very soon. 

 

Here are some close up shots of the chipboard elements.

For the "Summer Leaf Stems", I used white enamel with blue sparkles.

On the title, "Skater Boy", I applied black embossing powder

 and then applied silver embossing ink on top.

For the "Funky Leaf Swirls", I used navy metallic paint

 and applied silver embossing ink on top.

On the "Western Set 1" feathers, I applied teal ink and traced the contour with black ink. 

For the "Checkerboard" in the background, I applied black embossing ink roughly.

November Projects By Rachael Funnell

'Adventure'

Hello! Rachael with you today, sharing my November inspiration using some
 2 Crafty Chipboard GOODNESS...

Today is 17th which is my boy's birthday.....

So! This month I thought it would be pretty cool to create projects to about him!!

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used

Chain Length
Arrows Heart
Monster
Assortment Arrows
Arrow Word Set 1
Light bulbs
Square barbed wire frame
ALSO! the leftover/negative piece from the 2016

The Assortment of Arrows & Light bulbs used were inked with a gold!
Which I find makes them stand out nicely.....

The Chain length cut into smaller pieces, added a coat of gesso, then inked them blue
 which I didn't like the look of, so I added another coat of gesso & finished them off
with black ink, Which I think looks must better...

The Arrow frame has a coat of gesso and that's it...
Also! the Adventure Arrow, Square barbed wire frame & Monster
  also have a coat of gesso..

Then I randomly inked with Black & blue the barbed wire frame.

Then I added a little blue & Burgundy watercolor to the Monster.... Pretty cute hey!

Keeping with this color scheme I also created this tag & card
which I will be giving to him today...

A thick layer of gesso has been added to the Birthday Wishes words, The bigger Star
is inked with gold, While the ATC - Tiny Stars have a coat of gesso, a coat of gel
medium then finished with some Raspberry Alcohol ink...
Negative Sequins have been cut into smaller pieces & inked with black ink...
The Polaroid frame has a coat of gesso & blue ink!
Finishing this card with white splatters....
I just love the grungy feel to the card, hopefully my son like it too... :)

This tag has a more softer feel to it...
The ATC - Tiny Hearts are inked with a brown ink, while the  
Party Time words, Frame heart string, Negative Sequins & Bull head all have
 a coat of gesso, some with a thicker coat than others....

'Happy'

  Hello 2 Crafty fans, Rachael with you sharing a couple of layouts I created for this month...   Before I continue...

Please remember while your here be sure you have

These are the 2 Crafty chipboard I have used on my first layout
 'Happy'

I decided to use up some negative/leftover piece from the 'Chervon bits'..
Gave then a light coat of gesso & cut & layered underneath photo...

 Not to take away any of the details of the arrow & feather from the 'Western set' 
I gave the arrow a light coat of gesso & the feather a light coat of blue ink...

 ATC - Tiny Stars I just inked black so they would stand out a little more!

Added a couple coats of gesso to the loopy font 'Happy' a little blue mist. I still wanted
the blue to be a bit stronger... SO! I colored it with Artline permanent blue maker..
Was very happy (hehehe) how it turned out!

Cut this 'Tattoo Swirl' into 2 pieces, added a coat of gesso & finished it off with a
thick layer of Fabrika Decoru - Texture Paste with sand!
LOOKS GREAT HEY...

' ♥ 2 Dance'

For my 2nd layout these are the 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used.

After adding a layer of gesso to this '♥ 2 Dance' piece from the '6x6 dance theme sheet'

 I added red using a mist to the ♥ ,  finishing this off with adding some teal ink to the

 bottom half of the word dance!

Gave these Stars which are also from the '6x6 dance theme sheet' a coat of gesso & 

 Fabrika Decoru - Texture Paste with sand! 

This 'Juliet heart' has a coat of gesso & finished it of with some red mist....

I thought this 'Flying Bird' would stand out better sitting on the teal flower with adding

 a coat of gesso! Did the same to the 'Circle Heart frame' that is sitting over the photo!

Adding coat of gesso & Teal, Red & black water colors to finish this 'Wing' ....

  

To the 'Indian Feathers' & 'Soft Feathers' have a light coat of gesso & then while

 the gesso was still wet added some gold & pink glitter!
