'Magical' By Elisa Ablett

Hi 2Crafty friends,

Elisa here with my last layout for 2Crafty Chipboard, but this doesn't mean you won't
see me around Facebook, Instagram and in groups so please make sure you still say
hi and keep following me with my new endeavours.

I cannot thank Vanessa and Di enough for such a fabulous opportunity to be a part of a
super talented team and lovely bunch of designers and I will miss them and hopefully
one day I can apply to the team again.

For my last layout I decided to break open my Oxide Inkpads for the background
and also see if I could incorporate them to cover chipboard as well.

The 2Crafty products used in this layout -

Circle Stack
ATC Mini Hearts and Stars
Wildflower Set
Filmstrip
Fine Words 2

Let's take a closer look at the chipboard used in this layout -

For the title 'Magical' I heat embossed with a white glitter embossing powder
and the film strip was inked with black ink to make the title pop out !

I love how the 'Wildflower set' turned out, it was completely a happy accident, I inked the chipboard with an embossing liquid but for some reason it wasn't that tacky and only some of the black embossing powder stuck to the pieces. So I had a thought of adding some of the Oxide Colours from the background to cover the parts of the chipboard that had a small amount or no embossing powder on it. The colours of the Oxides remained so vibrant and bright on raw chipboard and I really liked the colourful distressed look.

I also inked the circle chipboard and heat embossed with black glossy embossing powder
and lastly the Mini ATC Stars, I coloured with a gold glitter watercolour pen just to add
that sparkle. I also added some gold splatters to the background.

December Inspiration By Jessika Lundman

"Christmas Cuties"

Hi guys!

Christmas is almost here! It is by far my favorite time of the year!

So for starters I want to show you this Christmas layout I made of my two cuties :)
I used the color scheme of red, white and gold. Mostly I used color bloom spray for the
red and gold and acrylic for the white.

Aren't the Christmas bulbs just beautiful? It is a big chipboard piece that I cut to pieces so I could place them exactly where I wanted them. The gold bow is also a part of that chipboard piece and I also have two swirls that where left overs from the same big chipboard piece that I will use on another layout.

The bulbs,  I embossed with white, red and sparkle embossing powder to really make them shine.
In the background you can see both white and gold. I splattered gold and white and also used
heavy white gesso to make sort of a snow effect behind the embellishments.

2Crafty products used:
Flourish ornament border
Flower doilies
Christmas cuties

"The Magic of You"

For my second layout I wanted to make something a little more boyish :)
A magic layout for a magic boy.

At first this layout was all black and white stars but when it was almost finished and I
looked at it I thought it lacked that "umpf" so I simply cut it in half and mounted it
on a white cardstock. I loved how it came out! The contrast is awesome. Some
black stars on the "other side" to tie the layout together.

All the chipboard is painted with white acrylic and that is also what I used on the
 background for splatters and dabbing.

Thanks for calling by! Have a very merry Christmas!

November Projects By Rachael Funnell

'Adventure'

Hello! Rachael with you today, sharing my November inspiration using some
 2 Crafty Chipboard GOODNESS...
Today is 17th which is my boy's birthday.....
So! This month I thought it would be pretty cool to create projects to about him!!

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used

Chain Length
Arrows Heart
Monster
Assortment Arrows
Arrow Word Set 1
Light bulbs
Square barbed wire frame
ALSO! the leftover/negative piece from the 2016

The Assortment of Arrows & Light bulbs used were inked with a gold!
Which I find makes them stand out nicely.....

The Chain length cut into smaller pieces, added a coat of gesso, then inked them blue
which I didn't like the look of, so I added another coat of gesso & finished them off
with black ink, Which I think looks must better...

The Arrow frame has a coat of gesso and that's it...
Also! the Adventure Arrow, Square barbed wire frame & Monster
also have a coat of gesso..

Then I randomly inked with Black & blue the barbed wire frame.
Then I added a little blue & Burgundy watercolor to the Monster.... Pretty cute hey!

Inked with blue the word 'Adventure'

Keeping with this color scheme I also created this tag & card
which I will be giving to him today...

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used

Card Words Set 2
Western Set 1
Stars
Assortment Polaroid
ATC - Tiny Hearts & Stars
Negative Sequins
Frame heart string
ALSO! the negative bit from the Chain Heart Frames

A thick layer of gesso has been added to the Birthday Wishes words, The bigger Star
is inked with gold, While the ATC - Tiny Stars have a coat of gesso, a coat of gel
medium then finished with some Raspberry Alcohol ink...
Negative Sequins have been cut into smaller pieces & inked with black ink...
The Polaroid frame has a coat of gesso & blue ink!
Finishing this card with white splatters....
I just love the grungy feel to the card, hopefully my son like it too... :)

This tag has a more softer feel to it...
The ATC - Tiny Hearts are inked with a brown ink, while the
Party Time words, Frame heart string, Negative Sequins & Bull head all have
a coat of gesso, some with a thicker coat than others....

That's it from me... Until next time....
HAPPY creating peeps!
