Love You by Tania Ridgwell

 Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share the last of my DT projects for February.
I have created a layout for my second share.

"Love ❤️ You"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Love You
*Feather Outline Set
*12 x 12 Weathered Clock Face Frames
*Oversized Flower Stem Set 1
*6x4 Phrase Stick Set 4

I have used the beautiful Uniquely Creative 'Whisper's of Wisdom' Collection to create the base for my Layout.

I coloured the medium sized Weathered Clock Face Frame & Oversized Flower Stem chippies with Lilac Rose Opal Polish and once dry I randomly dabbed on some gesso to tone done the colour.  The Feather Outline, Love You & Love You Long Time (from 6x4 Phrase Stick Set 4) Title chippies have been painted with a couple of coats of gesso.

I placed the Weathered Clock Face Frame chippie and my photo on my background page first.  I then added the Oversized Flower Stem & Feather Outline chippies along the bottom of my photo.  I embellished my page with lots of paper blooms and coordinating creative cuts.  I added the Love You chippie Title along the bottom and the Love You Long Time chippie across the top right.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.  Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

"Love You"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Here is my second page for this month of February.

My inspiration the month of lovers "Valentine's Day"

I chose to make my page with these photos of my son with his sweetheart.

"Love You"

2Crafty Chipboards used :

- Word Love You 3
- Dotted Heart Circle Frames
- Leafy Shrub Set 1

As always I applied a layer of gesso on each chipboard.

For the "Dotted Heart Circle Frames" chipboard I applied a layer of black
embossing powder and then a little gray.

For "Leafy Shrub" chipboards,I used white embossing powder.

For the title I also applied black embossing powder.

I often used to position my title next to the photos
but I found that here it stood out very well!

Lots of flowers and roses for love .....💗💗

I hope this inspired you.
Thanks for your look!

Love you by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans,

I'm back with a new layout to reveal, featuring my husband and I in a picture we took during an impromptu night out a few days before Halloween. We had an amazing time on that unexpected evening and took this picture without noticing the skull behind us!

This first picture was taken while the work was still in progress. I took it so I could give you a better look at the background and at the "Bubble Clumps" chipboard on which I applied blue metallic embossing enamel.

On the "Foliage Set 3", I used diluted metallic teal paint and inked the contour with black ink.

On the title, "Love you", I used bronze-gold metallized embossing powder.

This is a different angle showing the result on the "Love you" title.

On this layout, I used the following chipboards:
Bumble Clumps [m00561]
Foliage Set 3 [m00569]
Love You [w00237]

That's all for today! I hope you enjoyed this layout and it gave you ideas for your own creations! See you soon with more ideas!

August Inspiration & VIDEO
with Kripa Koushik

Hello friends,
In anticipation of spring, here are two projects with lots of pink, teal & mint.
Hope you enjoy the projects & video.

'Love you'

For this 12X12 layout I've used a gel plate to make the background over
a collage of pretty Maggie Holmes pattern papers.

After cutting off the border, the entire 6x6 Fiddlesticks panel is layered up behind the photograph.

I've also added a few of Chevron Bits around the page, as you can see above.

All the chipboard pieces were coated with white gesso and painted over with Colourarte
paints in mint, pink & deep pink. For the title using paints I've given an Ombre effect.

'Today is Perfect '
Art Journal

My next project share this month is an art journal page in an old book purchased at the library.
There are many tutorials online on how to prepare a book for painting on, but I'm happy to
share the long and short of the process if you cant find any that you like.

As always, the first step was to cover all the 2crafty chipboard pieces with white gesso.
Dry well, before painting them. The Chevron bits chipboard got only one layer of
 Colourarte acrylic silks.

The kite had been painted blue & orange for another project and never got used. So, I covered
it with white gesso and gave it a few layers of twinkling H2Os. Happy to say the Kite
chipboard not just survived the layers of paint, but soared up in its splendid colours really well!

Last but not the least, the title also received a couple of layers of paint before I finally decided
on the colour scheme Teal, pink & white. Layering Teal on top of green gave it a beautiful
shine & depth. The white is from a Uniball white marker.

Here is the complete video tutorial, I hope you enjoy it.

Karine's March Shares

Dear 2crafty friends,

It's my turn, today, to share my two layouts for this month.
Lets take a look at the first one.

"Love You"

I created a mixed media background using mists, modeling paste and stamps.
I kept it pretty soft, as I wanted my chipboard pieces to stand out. My main piece is the Ariel's Spray chipboard, which I placed along my picture. I really like the straight line on that piece: it goes so well against a photo! I embossed the Ariel's Spray with a blue embossing powder.

I then scattered some Lattice Leaves here and there, following the design
of the main chipboard piece. Those leaves, I embossed with a metallic green embossing powder.

I really love how those leaves complement the design of the Ariel's Spray.

The Love You title, is embossed with the same metallic
green embossing powder.

For my second layout, I went a bit wild. Lets take a look at it.

"Moment"

I wanted this layout to be grunge and rusty, to go with the face of
my little man on the picture. He looks so grumpy!

I created a mixed media background using some black modeling paste through a stencil and some pigments to give the impression of rust that ran through the page. Then, I cut the Square Collage Panel into pieces that I adhered on both sides of the layout.

To make it more masculine, I added the Steampunk Gear Medium pieces
on the left side. All my chipboards then were covered with rust paste.
I can't tell you enough how I love the result! It's so... rusty! :)

A few flowers, some metal pieces and a fabric heart to embellish everything
and my layout was pretty much done! All that there was missing was a title.

I choose the Moment Loopy Font piece, which I covered with black gesso.

February Inspiration by Debbie Burns

Hi everyone!
Debbie here with you today to share my February projects.

"A Moment Captured"

I love the outdoors and two of my favorite things are butterflies and flowers.
I found this beautiful butterfly on Pinterest and was drawn to the colors.   I applied
some misting, inking and random stamping to the background paper.

2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Addy's Butterflies
Heidi's Vines
A Moment Captured

I applied brown and melon embossing powder to the Heidi's Vines
and added some coral microbeads.

The Addy's Butterfly was embossed with a mixture of brown and antique taupe powders.

I used the same mixture of brown and antique taupe embossing powders on the title.

"Love You"

I went for a softer color pallete on my next layout.  Lots of flowers, butterflies and layers!

2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Frame Yvette's
Love You
Flourish Adornment 2

Frame Yvette's was embossed with oatmeal.

The Flourish Adornment 2 was embossed with oatmeal also.  I cut it into 2 pieces.

Here I've placed the other half of the Flourish Adornment 2.

Love the title!
I embossed it with an antique pink powder.

I hope I've inspired you today!
Until next time . . .
Debbie
