Christmas Tag By Karan Gerber

Hi Friends and welcome to the 2 Crafty Blog today.

Its Karan  Gerber here to share some Christmas Decor with you using some
of the Christmas selections of chipboard that 2 Crafty has to offer.

With Christmas on my mind I thought it would be nice to create some Home Decor as
this beauty would be perfect sitting on a plate stand with fairy lights around the bottom.

The base is designed from the Tim Holtz etc tags and these are a very
thick chipboard designed for mixed media.

I heat embossed the Reindeer in white; the ornaments were cut apart from the
border and used individually and heat embossed with Crimson embossing powder.

The Chicken Wire was embossed with Ancient Amber embossing powder and I
cut it in half and it sits on either side of the paper layers.

I love how this tag turned out and I hope I have inspired you to
think about your Christmas Home Decor!

"Cherish" Layout
by Marie Sabatier

Here is my second inspiration for this month of April.

I used to frame the photo of my little girl this beautiful chipboard
"Frames Celia's flourish"
that I love for its elegant style and shabby chic!

2Crafty Chipboard used:
- Mini Words 2
- Frames Celia's flourish
-  Flourish adornment Set 7
- Leafy Shrub Set 1
- Chicken barbed Wine Medium

As always I applied a layer of white gesso on each chipboard.

For the chipboards "Frames Celia's flourish" "Leafy Shrub" and "Chicken Barbed Wine Medium"
I applied a powder embosser in a dark color "Bratwurst Brown".

As well as a light coat of wax "Vintage Silk".

For the chipboard "flourish adornment" I also applied a
powder embosser in the color of "Ghouly Goblin Green".

For the title I used a wax color "India Pink".

That's it for this month.

I hope that the choice of chipboards for this page will have pleased you.

Thank you for your visit!

Halloween by Elena Martynova

Happy Halloween to everybody!!!
Since we are in October & 2 Crafty Chipboard have some REALLY COOL Halloween
 themed chipboard pieces!
I thought it would be a perfect time to create this canvas!
My family doesn't celebrate Halloween, but I still like to do something for the this holiday.

I've used bits of
Chicken Barbed Wire Small
to decorate the edges of the canvas.
It is painted with black acrylic paint and covered with Prima Metallique Wax White Gold

Figurines of the witch, the cat and the pot I took from a Halloween Set 3

Started with adding a bit of texture paste to Graveyard Tree with bats.
Then covered black paint and Prima  Sparks - Unicorn's Hair.

I coated the gravestones with craquelure varnish to create the effect of old cracked tombstones.

Look at this gorgeouse Halloween Night Title!
I really like how the letters "L" put on funny shoes!

I'll be back again next month..
Till then HAPPY SCRAPPIN!!

'24' By Lisa Griffith

'24'

Hello ladies! I am so happy to be on this wonderful team...thank you
very much Di and especially Vanessa.
I love to dabble in different styles, but if I had to pick my favourite it would
be romantic with a vintage feel. One of the reasons I love the 2 Crafty designs
so much is that they are so delicate.
Here I have used some lovely swirls that really accentuate
the mood of my vintage photo.

I covered my chipboard pieces with 'Vintage Photo' brown ink before
tucking them into my cluster of embellishments.

I really love the elegant design of these pieces.
I used the following 2Crafty chipboard designs:

'You make me happy....'

This layout features my little boy Liam, who really, truly, is the sunshine in my world.
I loved this title piece and I knew this photo of him would fit perfectly.

For the title I first painted it with acrylic black paint and then coated it in
Glossy Accents to really make it shine and stand out.

I also used pieces of Chicken Barbed Wire that I painted black
and tucked in different places around my layout.

I used the following 2Crafty pieces:

'Love Yourself'

I created this romantic layout for a kit club I design for and thought I'd share it with you
as I used some 2Crafty pieces that I think really added a unique feel to my design.

I hope I have inspired you a little today.....

Debbi Tehrani - May Layouts

Hi, 2Crafty Fans!
I'm here to share three layouts I created
using the awesome 2Crafty Chipboard.

"Magic Place"
I'm creating a book for my husband's niece, and this is a page for her book.
As an owner of a challenge site, I love participating in others' challenges.
I used a series of Scrappy Friends Challenges to create this page.

I thought the raw chipboard was a lovely juxtaposition with the vibrant colors.
The word Magic came from the Christmas Mini Word Set
and I coated it with silver embossing powder to give it some sparkly magic.

I cut a piece from Element Set 1 in half to add a bit of fancy adornment
on the sides of the photo. The arrow came from the Assorted Arrows pack
and I cut it in half and embossed it with silver.
I love that arrow set--you get 30 arrows on the sheet!

I used two kinds of butterflies for this page
and folded their wings up to give them a bit more dimension.
They were coated with white embossing powder.
The larger butterfly is from Sharon's Butterflies set,
and the smaller ones are from the Butterflies set.

2Crafty Products used on this layout:
Christmas Mini Word Set 2
Sharon's Butterflies
Assorted Arrows
Dainty Alphabet
Butterflies
Element Set 1

"Who's Who in My Zoo"

I've got so many layouts about my pets
that I decided I'd do a title page for that album.
The 2Crafty Who's Who in My Zoo - title was just perfect for this!
I inked the title to match my papers
and then swiped some white acrylic paint on the edges.
I outlined the piece with black pen to match the rest of the penwork on my page.
Those O's in the title were just begging for googly eyes--a perfect touch of whimsy!

I used a 2Crafty Polaroid Frame to hold a Folk Heart
and frame some patterned paper that resembles pawprints.
I coated the frame with white embossing powder.
I covered the Folk Heart with patterned paper and sanded the edges.

Oh, how I love the 2Crafty Word Circles. This is from Set 2
I added the word "Best" from the Card Sentiments sheet
which was intended as the message "Best Wishes,"
but was a perfect addition to the "Friends" word circle.
I can use the "Wishes" part on another layout.
The arrow below is from the Assorted Arrows sheet,
and I covered it with patterned paper.

"Be Kind to Yourself"

2Crafty is sponsoring Off the Rails Scrapbooking this month,
and the 2Crafty design team was invited to play as guest designers.
I loved the message on the awesome mood board,
and being kind to myself is something I'm working on.
I've got personal journaling on the back of my page.

Of course, the mood board called for butterflies.
I coated Sharon's Butterflies with gesso and then used an ink pad to color them.

I scrap 8 x 8, so the Dainty Alphabet is kind of tricky for me,
since the letters are so large for my page,
but I love the way this big title looks,
and overlapping the letters allows me to maximize space.
I sprayed the letters with a Glimmer Mist which gave them an awesome sheen.
The Chunky Heart was colored with a red stamp pad.

I used two Polaroid Frames and painted them with white acrylic paint.
I just love these frames. You get 8 frames of various sizes in a pack.
They're so versatile and are perfect for layering
and drawing attention to parts of your layout.

How awesome is the 2Crafty Chicken Barbed Wire?
It comes in a panel, and I cut pieces of it for my page,
allowing me to use that one piece for several layouts.
I coated the chicken wire with gesso.
