Vintage tags "Hansel and Gretel"
by Elena Martynova + Video

Hello friends!
Welcome to the new year!
I am sure that this year will surely be remembered by you with
different interesting and good events.
The new team in our blog is starting to surprise with their work
and I look forward to their masterpieces.

Surely you know such a fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel".
The children were walking in the woods and found a gingerbread house.
I've been baking this house for years.
Previously, my children helped me decorate it,
but now that they have grown up, I do it myself:)))
But they eat it with no less pleasure :)))

I invite you to watch my video tutorial to see the whole
process of creating my project. Enjoy!

I used brown and gold shades of sprays.
Therefore, the tags turned out to be similar to gingerbread.

As a background paper Lemoncraft.
I cut gingerbread trees, an orange, and a clock out of it.

The inscriptions are spray painted and covered with transparent
powder for embossing. It gives a stunning volume and protects
the surface from erasing the Golden pollen spray.

I used some gold potali to decorate
the deer antlers from the Deer Head Set .

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

Till next time, enjoy your weekend and have fun creating.

All my love
Elena

'2Crafty Christmas Tags' By Elisa Ablett

Merry Christmas 2Crafty fans,

Elisa here from the design team with the first of my December inspiration for you, three very different and unique Christmas mixed media tags.

Here are the 2Crafty Chipboard Products used in the tags;

 Products List:

Presents
Sparrows and Branch
Polaroid frames
Tags
Brushstroke Tree
ATC Mini Hearts
Mini Houses
Linear Snowflakes
Circle Stack
Mini Christmas Word Set 1

🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅

Let's take a closer look at each tag!

'Christmas Wonderland'

Create a Christmas snow globe on a tag, by cutting circle chipboard, heat embossing with silver embossing powder and adding small Christmas themed chipboard to your globe
and Snowtex by DecoArt for a textured snow like look!

I heat embossed the delicate Linear Snowflakes with white glitter
embossing powder to co-ordinate with the snow and winter scene.

'Rejoice'

Use small chipboard Polaroid frames to frame and draw attention to
cut out elements like felt Poinsettia's and foam berries.

I converted the 'sparrow on a branch' to a Christmas theme by sticking with the
co-coordinating colours plus cutting Christmas paper to use as a wing on the bird.

Heat emboss your small title with brilliant white embossing powder
and add some lace and wood fibres for texture.

'Santa'

Cover your tag with Christmas themed paper and sand the edges.
Then ink around the edges to create a black grungy look.

Heat emboss your Chipboard Tree with metallic green embossing powder,
then wrap the tree in black wire, making sure it lays fairly flat.
Colour small ATC chipboard hearts or stars with gold glitter pen or
paint pen and attach to the wire as though they are baubles.

Add finishing touches like a hand painted present and title and red thread!

Well that's it from me today,
thank you so much for stopping by the blog.

I hope all your Christmas and holiday preparations are going well!

Hugs.

Tags By Bec Genet

Hi everyone today I'm stopping by to share two tags that I made for 2Crafty Chipboard.

I always make layouts but this time I decided to switch it up and make some tags instead,
I've been very time poor this month so tags are much faster to make. To also save time
I used only liquid pearls on my chipboard pieces again because it's just so quick and easy to do.

2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Card Word Circles - Sentiments
6in Circle Revolution Frames
Dotty Bits
Lacey Border Set
Flourish Adornment Set 3

Thank you Tag

On the Thank You Tag I used the chippie pieces:
Card Word Circles - Sentiments, 6in Circle Revolution Frames and Dotty Bits

I used 2 of the 6in Circle Revolution Frames, a large one that I coloured with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Wedgewood Blue and I only used half of this frame. The smaller 6in Circle Revolution Frame I coloured with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Midnight Blue. The Thank You title from the Card Word Circles - Sentiments was also coloured in the same colour. Tucked under the flowers is two pieces from the Dotty Bits which are coloured with Ranger Liquid Pearls in White Opal

Here are my close ups:

 Best Wishes Tag

On the Best Wishes Tag ...
I used the chippie pieces Card Word Circles - Sentiments, Lacey Border Set
and Flourish Adornment Set 3.

I cut the Lacey Border Set into 2 pieces and coloured them with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Wisteria Purple. The Flourish Adornment piece was coloured with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Neptune and I also cut this piece in half. Half was placed at the top of the tag and the other half at the bottom of the tag. The  Best Wishes Title from the Card Word Circles - Sentiments pack was coloured with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Raspberry Pink.

Thanks for stopping by.

'Together' by Elisa Ablett - September Inspiration

Hi Crafters,

Elisa here from the design team with my latest inspiration for September,
a bright and colourful mixed media layout.

"Together"

For this layout I used a gorgeous photo of my niece and great niece which I love.

I wanted to create a lovely watercolour background and try something new with my chippie.

I used the following 2Crafty chipboard -

Sharon's Butterflies set
Corner Arches
Chipboard Tags
Together title - Loopy Font

Let's take a closer look at the chipboard pieces -

I love the set of Sharon's butterflies; they are so versatile and I have used them on many projects.

On this layout I heat embossed a heavy white embossing powder onto my chipboard butterfly
and also onto the title - Together (in the below photo).
It came out perfectly, they almost look like a raised enamel.

For the Corner Arch, I decided to give it a light coat with gesso first and then let dry.

Once it was dry, I lightly tapped and swiped my Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inkpad
over the top and spritzed it with water and let dry. The end result was a lovely mottled
distressed look showing patches of white here and there.

The chipboard tag I absolutely love! I wanted to try a new technique on the tag
so I lightly glued some patterned tissue paper over the top of the tag,
then I watered down some gesso and added a white wash over the top, once
dry I sanded the edges and lightly over the top of the tag. It came out
perfect as a background feature which matches the tissue paper I glued to the background.

That's it from me today, I hope you have been inspired to try some of my techniques
on your Chipboard pieces. Make sure you leave me some love in the comments and if you
want to follow my work - head to my blog or instagram to follow along ...

Hugs

Layout and Tags- June inspiration
By Katja/Mezzanotte

"Delight"

My daughters dog Lizzy is a fun and happy dog. Sweet and delightful and full of life.
She is an Australian cattle dog and I love to create layouts about her.  And to really
get Lizzy in focus on the layout she is having a circle from Circle Dot Frame around
her. I have embossed it with black and shiny embossing powder.

The lovely circles in a mix, are named Bubbles Clumps and they
are embossed with golden and glittery embossing powder.

The word delight comes from the Mini Word Set 2.

"Flourish Tags"

I love creating tags. Here are three  almost the same, but in different colors.

The text on my tags are from Fine Word Set 1

I also have on the tags the chipboard Fishing Net Bits. I have cut them
to smaller pieces to match the size of  the tags.

I have used flourishes from the chipboards Mini Flourish Bits and they are
so lovely and the perfect size to use on tags.

Have used Rainbow colors from 13arts. Sisal, glitter and chipboard in a lovely mix.
