"Wonderful"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

For my first inspiration for this month of June, I offer you a layout including this pretty
window model which frames a photo of my granddaughter taken in profile.

"Wonderful"

The chipboards used:

- "Wonderful" Mini Word Set 3
- "joy" Christmas Mini Word Set 2
- Window Shutter Set 2
- Mollie's Butterfly Set
- Ginny's Flourish Set
- Heart Clumps

After choosing my layout, I decided to embellish the majority of the chipboards in white.

To start, I apply a layer of white gesso.
Then I use a heavy body acrylic paint of snow-white color.
I wanted to achieve a covering effect.

I use two "Ginny's Flourish" chipboards to give volume to my embellishment cluster.
For the butterflies I chose to cover them with Lindy's Gang embossing powder in the color
 "Madonna Robe Blue Gold.

I often add to my projects these "Heater Clumps". They are light and so adorable.
To create a distinctive look, I chose to use two mini-words in different fonts.

I hope this presentation of these beautiful chipboards will inspire you in your next creations.

Take care of yourself!

"Angelic Beauty" 12 by 4 Canvas by Amy Voorthuis

  Goodmorning 2Crafty friends,
I am so happy that you are visiting this amazing blog, I love creating with beautiful chipboard
pieces. For today I have a little something else to show you this time I created a little canvas with all selected pieces that I thought would fit it very well. And off course I have used a picture of our Abbey I hope you enjoy this post.

You know what's amazing, you can order directly from the
2Crafty website here so you can also play with their amazing chipboard pieces

Angelic Beauty:

2Crafty Chipboard used:
Window Shutter Set 2
Charlotte Page Flourish
BeeYoutiful Set
Roxy's Flourish Vine
Fine Word Set 2
Mini Word Set 3
ATC Word Banner Set 1
Foliage Set 9

As you might know I love adding as many chipboard pieces as possible on my work. For this canvas I added eight. All of the pieces are treated with some white gesso the "Charlotte Page Flourish" was then altered matte acrylic paint after that with some spray paint and in the end with some wax. For the "Window Shutter Set 2" I did randomly paint it with three different kinds of acrylic paint all of them in a mate finish to give it a weathered look.

The cute little bees from the "BeeYoutiful Set" are also painted with some acrylic paint and then I used some clear embossing powder on them and then to finish them I used some matte wax. On the "Foliage Set 9" I added some paint and on the top of the leaves I added some glitter {sadly you can't see that on the picture} The words are painted with some black paint and then I brushed some matte white wax on them. For the ATC banner that one was altered with embossing powder {clear} and I used a posca pen in black to write the word "Love You"

Love Layout by Tania Ridgwell

 Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share my second Design Team project for October.
I have created a layout for final share for the month.

"Love"

2 Crafty Products Used:

*Ginny's Flourish Set
*Love - Fine Script
*Mini Branches
*Window Shutter Set 2

I used the gorgeous Paper Rose Dear Isabella Collection to create the base for my Layout.

I painted the Window Shutter Set 2 Chippie first with a coat of Gesso and once dry coloured it with Opal Magic Violet-Gold Paint.  I built up the layers under my photo with some patterned paper.  I cut the painted Window Shutter chippie in half and added it to the paper layers and then added my photo.

I gave all the chippie pieces a coat of gesso and once dry the Love title was painted with Opal Magic Violet- Gold Paint and the Ginny's Flourishes with Dylusions Laidback Lilac Paint with some Opal Magic Green-Gold Paint randomly dabbed on.   The Mini Branches were coloured with Heidi Swapp Chartreuse Spray.
I then embellished my page with lots of fussy cut elements and added lots of pretty blooms.  I tucked in the Mini Branches and Ginny's Flourishes amongst the embellishment clusters.  To finish my page I added the Love title to the bottom left corner of my photo and few fussy cut butterflies.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Love Layout by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share a little crafty inspiration with you all.
I have created a layout using some gorgeous 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces.

2 Crafty Chipboard Products Used:

*Window Shutter 2
*Flourish Adornment Set 7
*6" Mandala No3
*Love Loopy Font

I coloured the Flourishes, Loopy Love and Mandala by embossing them with purple embossing powder.  The Window Shutter was sprayed with Kaisercraft Black Mist.

I positioned the Window Shutter on a slight angle on the page and added the photo.
I cut the Mandala in half and tucked one of each of the halves at the top and
bottom of the Window Shutter.

Once I had added all the fussy cut elements and flowers I tucked in the Flourishes
amongst them.  I finished by adding the Loopy Love title to the bottom of the photo.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all a little with my Layout.
Until next time,
thanks so much for stopping by.

"JUST ME"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello loyal friends of 2Crafty!

I am very happy to meet you again to present my second inspiration for the month of January.

A layout to offer to the mother of this adorable little girl "Chiara"
the cousin of my granddaughter who are born the same day!

"JUST ME"

The 2Craftychipboard used:

- JUST ME Title
- Circle Stack
- Windows Shutter Set 2
- Leafy Shrub Set 1

I was immediately inspired with this photo, the contrast of the black hair and the red dress
attracted me in the choice of colors that I was going to use.

I used this "Circle Stack" chipboard to highlight my layout.
I simply applied a coat of black gesso and then a white colored wax.

I did the same on the "Leafy Shrub" particle boards but
I accentuated the black by applying a darker "Red Amber" wax.

To frame my photo I added this "Shutter Window" particle board below.
That I simply embellished by lightly applying a metallic "Peacock"
wax on the white gesso.

Then I worked my bouquet of embellishments with flowers and leaves
by sliding my chipboards.

On the left part I simply glued the chipboard then I added the title decorated with
black gesso and a touch of "Peacock" wax, Then a few rubs of white gesso

I never tire of creating with these magnificent particle boards
which bring a lot of relief to a layout.

Thank you again for your visit and your loyalty.
