Just Me - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!
So happy to be back to share my next layout!

2Crafty Products used:

Just Me
Lattice Leaves
Mini Flourish Bits
Victoria's Large Flourish
Marianne's Butterflies
Mini Dotty Bits
Leafy Shrub Set 1

I always prep my chipboard with white chipboard then alter them.

I then used two blue shades and a copper color of watercolor powders by using a wet paintbrush and then spritzing with water to get the watercolor look.  For the title I used the copper color watercolor powder then added glitter copper paint.  To keep with the glittery look I added some glitter to the other chipboard pieces and some flowers from my stash

"JUST ME"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello loyal friends of 2Crafty!

I am very happy to meet you again to present my second inspiration for the month of January.

A layout to offer to the mother of this adorable little girl "Chiara"
the cousin of my granddaughter who are born the same day!

"JUST ME"

The 2Craftychipboard used:

- JUST ME Title
- Circle Stack
- Windows Shutter Set 2
- Leafy Shrub Set 1

I was immediately inspired with this photo, the contrast of the black hair and the red dress
attracted me in the choice of colors that I was going to use.

I used this "Circle Stack" chipboard to highlight my layout.
I simply applied a coat of black gesso and then a white colored wax.

I did the same on the "Leafy Shrub" particle boards but
I accentuated the black by applying a darker "Red Amber" wax.

To frame my photo I added this "Shutter Window" particle board below.
That I simply embellished by lightly applying a metallic "Peacock"
wax on the white gesso.

Then I worked my bouquet of embellishments with flowers and leaves
by sliding my chipboards.

On the left part I simply glued the chipboard then I added the title decorated with
black gesso and a touch of "Peacock" wax, Then a few rubs of white gesso

I never tire of creating with these magnificent particle boards
which bring a lot of relief to a layout.

Thank you again for your visit and your loyalty.

"Just Me"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Here is my second page for this month of May.

I chose to make a page a little different from my normal habits but it is good
 to change a few times.

I chose a photo of my little girl. I changed the background of my photo to black to contrast with the color of her dress.

"Just Me"

2Crafty Chipboards used :

- Just Me Title
- 12 X 12 clock faces
- Leafy Shrub Set 1
- Aztec Feathers

I applied a layer of white gesso on the chipboards.

For the "Aztec feathers", I applied a quick-drying metallic gloss paint in dark gray color, then an "Tin Roof Rusted" embossing powder to add texture.

For the rest of the chipboards I have only embossed with the color "Purely white" to obtain a clean and shiny effect.

I wanted to highlight the chipboards and I quite like the result. I hope you too?

I loved creating this page a little different from my comfort zone but still with these magnificent chipboards!

Thank you for your visit, see you soon.

"Just Me"
by Marie Sabatier

My first page for this month of April is about spring coming ...

My inspiration for this page is the chipboard "Ornate Gateway"
as I so wanted to use it for a long time and so here I finally got to use it.

I hope you will like.

2Crafty Chipboard Used
- Just me tittle
- Ornate gateway
- 6inch mandala 2

I wanted the gate to look as if it was open, so I cut a few pieces to get this effect.

For each chipboard, as always I applied a layer of white gesso and then
I applied a dark brown embossing powder "Midnight Brown"

Below you can see the gorgeous detail on the gate.

The "Just Me" title has been heat embossed to give a lovely shiny finish.

To the side of the gate, I've added the star like "Mandala" for a more elegant
finish and it sits beautifully amongst the fussy cut flower elements.

I have added some flowers, embellishment and material
 to harmonize my finished project!

If you liked it, do not hesitate to create!

Till next time XX
