This is me
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Summer is in full swing now in Quebec and I was in a particularly cheery mood last week as I was spending plenty of time outside in the sun. I took a selfie that I think did a great job of capturing my mood and decided to create a new layout with it.

"This is me"

For the "Sharon's Butterflies" in the back, I used pink embossing ink and traced the contour with black ink.

On the "5" flora frame", I first applied teal paint, then added some diluted blue metallic paint on top. Then I dabbed some pink embossing ink on top of the other coats.

On the "Lattice Leaves", I applied teal paint, somewhat giving a metallic look.

For the title, "This is me", I used pink metallic paint as a stain, then inked the border with black ink.

For this layout, I used the following 2Crafty chipboards:
5" Floral Frames [FR0055]
Lattice Leaves[ M00589]
Sharon's butterflies [M00496]
This is me [W000351]

That's all for me today! I hope this will give you ideas for your own creations. I'll be back soon, still in a very cheery mood with more ideas to share with you! See you soon.

"This is Me' by Rachael Funnell

Hello 2 Crafty fans!
Rach with you sharing my second bit of  January inspiration,
this layout featuring ME and some GORGEOUS 2Crafty chipboard pieces....

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
6" Mandala 1
Autumn leaves
12" Boho floral arrow
This is Me (title)
Light bulb word set
Winter leaves

I've used some Mintay papers, next I added some stamping on my background.....
Then inspired by my layout from earlier in the month, I've used the Rose Gold beewax
paste again. Applying the paste by using my finger to apply to the 6" Mandala
& a few of the Autumn and Winter leaves

The rest of the chipboard pieces I started with by giving them coats of gesso...
The title This is Me has three coats, letting each coat dry before applying the next coat!!!

The 12" Boho floral arrow & Moment Light bulb have a single coat of gesso,
then finished of the Boho floral arrow by colouring in the flower with Peach & guava
gelatos AND the peach gelato around the edge of the bulb....

Thanks for stopping by & I'll be back next month with more...   x

March Inspiration and VIDEO TUTORIAL
By Sabrina

Hello 2crafty fans!

It is my turn to show my March layouts.
The first one I'm revealing was a self-challenge to create a page featuring myself on a colorful page.

"This Me"

It's always hard to find inspiration to create a page about myself but
I really like how this one turned out!

I painted the chipboard title: This is me with a black paint.

I embossed the Lattice leaves chipboard with a white and gold embossing enamel.

For the Swaying Branches chipboard, I painted them with a
silver paint and used a pink embossing ink.

I painted the Frame Lucy's Flourish chipboard with bright
turquoise ink then embossed with white embossing powder.

In this layout I used the following 2Crafty Chipboards products:

Frame Lucy's Flourish FR0047
Lattice Leaves M00589
Swaying Branches M00732
This is Me W00351

"Precious"

The next layout I am presenting today is the pre-school picture of my daughter.
For this layout, I have also prepared a video, that you can see at the bottom of this post,
showing the various techniques I used to prepare the chipboards so they look even more awesome.

I painted the Summer Leaf Stem chipboard with embellishment mousse then I
embossed them with pink embossing ink.

I embossed the beautiful Climbing Rose bush chipboard with white and pink embossing enamel.

I used some copper enamel to emboss the Precious Loopy Font chipboard.

For the Grid bits, I used a gold pigment ink as a paint.

For this layout I used the following 2Crafty chipboards:

Precious Loopy Font W00300
Climbing Rose Bush DB0100
Summer Leaf Stems M00411
Grid Bits M00722

This is my video tutorial showing how I did my layout:

October Inspiration By Sandra

''Live everyday with intention''

I love making white and black layouts with one touch of color... Always make me satisfied.
That is what I created for my first layout this month.

2Crafty chipboard list

Corner Thick Vine

Frame Georgian

Live everyday with Intention

I began my background by sticking the Corner Thick Vine chipboard to a watercolor paper.

I also add the bigger Frame Georgian in the middle. You can't see it a lot, but there is.

I added a mixture of balls synthetic material with the medium gel to add more textures.

Then, I put some white gesso to color my chipboards.

I put some black ink with some water to make an ombre finish on my
background around the chipboards and the textures.

I cut the small Frame Georgian and I embossed it with black powder.
I made the same treatment to the title.

At the end, I just put some other white gesso on my textures, some drops white
and black and added some flowers and a badge.

''This is Me''

I love altered paper for my background to fit with my layout's finished idea.

2Crafty chipboards list

Ivy's Squares

6" Clock Face Frames

This is Me

I made a lot of things on my background...I started by adding some acrylic paint with
water to add more colors. I used a stencil with black gesso to make some contrasts,
and I added stamps and also some embossing powder on some medium gel.

For the all the Ivy's squares, I used 4 colors of embossing powder,
blue, green, light turquoise and black.

To add more textures, I put some balls acrylic with yellow ink and medium gel, before
they were dry, I added some turquoise embossing powder in it and I used my embossing iron.

I used one piece of clock from 6''clock face frames and 2 parts which serve has to hold the clock together. I embossed them with yellow embossing powder.

To add more contrast, I put some black flowers and two turquoise.

I painted the title This is me-title with black acrylic paint.

you can see all chipboards on the website.

Thanks and see you next month...
