'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello again all!
It's Lisa here today to share some more
chrissy inspiration with you!

Christmas is almost here lol.

2Crafty products used:

'Star Bright Snowflakes'
'Large Berry Stem'
'Holly Leaves'
'Its Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas'

For this layout, I used some of the 'Holly Leaves'
that I coloured in a green colour,
and tucked in around my page.

I also used the 'Large Berry Stem',
that I embossed in a bright red,
and adhered next to my photo.

I also used one of the 'Star Bright Snowflakes',
that I embossed white and tucked into my layers.

To finish, I used the 'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas' title,
which I also embossed white,
and adhered under my berry stem,

I really love how the colours just pop off the black cardstock base.
I hope that you all have a very merry christmas,
and I will be back soon with more to share with you.

Until then,

Lisa

Altered Merry Christmas Frame by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!

Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for December.
I have altered a wooden frame.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Pine Needle Wreath
*Star Bright Snowflakes
*Swirly Holly Decorative Set

I have used the gorgeous new Uniquely Creative Christmas Wishes Paper Collection to decorate the inside photo frame panel.

The Swirly Holly Set chippies have been coloured with Golden Flamingo Opal Polish.  The Pine Needle Wreath &  Star Bright Snowflake chippies have been coloured with All Purpose Frost White paint and once dry I randomly dabbed a little of the Golden Flamingo Opal Polish over them.

I decorated the frame by adding fussy cut elements and paper blooms.   I cut up the large swirl from the Swirly Holly Set and tucked in a piece to the top and a piece to the bottom of the embellishment cluster along the bottom left of the frame.  I tucked in the other chippies from the Swirly Holly Set to the top right of the frame and also tucked in the Snowflake chippies amongst the fussy cut elements and flowers.  I cut the Wreath chippie in half and added one half to the left of the frame and the other half to the right of the frame.

To finish off my frame I randomly sponged on some gesso on the frame and to the flowers, fussy cut elements and chippies to give it a snow like effect.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all a little with my Altered Christmas Frame.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Sweet Christmas Treats Star Decoration by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share the last of my DT projects for December and final project for 2023.
I have altered a wooden Star Plaque.

"Merry Christmas Star Decoration"

2 Craft Products Used:

*Holly Flourish
*Star Bright Snowflakes
*Deer Set
*Card - Merry Xmas Words

I have used the gorgeous Paper Rose Studio Sweet Christmas Treats Collection to create this project.  Once I chose the paper for the background of my star plaque I set about decorating.

I fussy cut a large window scene from one of the papers from the collection and adhered it to the star.  I fussy cut lots of beautiful Poinsettias and Holly sprigs from the papers too and added them randomly around the window scene.
I coloured the Holly Flourish and Star Bright Snowflakes with Mont Marte Silver Paint.  Once my chippie pieces were dry I cut the Holly Flourish in half and tucked one of each of the halves into the Poinsettias along the right side of the star.  I added two of the Star Bright Snowflake chippies to the left of the star and the third to the right.

I added a couple of raw Deer chippies also tucking them into the fussy cut elements.  I added a few blooms around the poinsettias and finished off my Star plaque by adding a Merry Christmas chippie title from the Card - Merry Xmas Words pack which I painted with Silver Adirondack Metallics paint along the top.

Thats' all from me today.

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and safe and Happy New Year with loved ones.

Until next time thanks so much for stopping by and see you in the new year!!!

'Trimming the Tree'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty lovers!
It's Lisa here today to give you some Christmas inspiration,
and I have created a layout for you.

'Trimming the Tree'

2Crafty products used:

For this layout I have used one of the 'Star Bright Snowflakes',
that I have tucked in behind my little houses.

I have also used one of the larger 'St. Nick's Snowflakes',
in front of the houses, both of which I have embossed in a silver glitter.

I also used one of the 'Pine Needle Wreaths'
that I layered with one of the 'Word Circles - Christmas'.

To do this, I have finished the wreath in a white and green,
then I also coloured the circle the same to match,
but I have embossed the words in silver glitter.

I also used one of the snowflakes and stars from the 'Wintery Snowflake Set'.
I embossed both of these with silver glitter finish,
layered the snowflake on the wreath and the star above the little houses.

I am really loving the sparkle of the chipboard snowflakes
and am very happy with how this page turned out.

I hope that you like what I have created,
and that this has inspired you to keep creating!

Until next time,

Lisa

Winter Wonderland
By Marie Claude Rodier

 Hello lovelies,

Even if there isn’t any snow on the ground yet, winter is coming in my part of the world. And this year especially, I can’t wait to get out and enjoy as much as possible outdoor activities. It will be so good for the soul to breath fresh air and play in the snow.

This layout is all about Canadian winter: nature, family and fun.

It’s Winter Wonderland

I used soft and light color palette for this peaceful inspiration, snowflake pattern paper and lots of fun coordinated 2Crafty chipboards.

Winter Wonderland was basecoated with gesso and painted with light blue Shimmerz.

The same technique was used for Corner Whispy Vines. Pieces were cut apart and tucked under on each side of the main clustering.

Star Bright snowflakes were also basecoated with gesso. A light pink embossing powder was also applied over them.

"Merry Christmas"
Layout by Elena

Hi everyone, this is Elena here with you today.

Although it's only mid-autumn, I'm already looking forward
to the beginning of winter and Christmas holidays.

The new Lemoncraft paper collection was perfect for my mood.

I cut out a picture of my daughter in a smart dress to depict her peeking
out the door into the street. There everything is covered with snow
and a curious Reindeer came out of the forest, attracted by the smell of pies.

I decorated the top of the layout with a Dangling Christams Sign
 and beautiful Star Bright Snowflakes.

I painted them with textured paint particles, then covered
with the embossing powders of two colors and added a little
white texture paste to simulate snow.

In my new layout, I really wanted to use the Hinges Pack from the new 2 Crafty release.

 I made an unusual layout.
Since Christmas is a time of miracles, my work also contains a small miracle.
If you open the door then behind it you will find a Christmas tree.
