'Don't be Defined' by Emma Zappone

Hello 2Crafty friends.
Emma here with you today, with a small 8x8 layout. It is a little busier than some of my previous layouts, but I love the texture this page has delivered.

The image I had chosen for this project, had lots of fabric flowers and colour. I wanted to enhance these by the use of the chipboard and fabric elements from my stash.
But lets check out the chipboard elements first....

Charlotte Flowers
6" Mandala No. 5
Fine Floral Corner Set

All the chippy for this project were painted with acrylic paint. Different colours to compliment the image and the concept of the page.

The Mandala is painted with a stunning purple to showcase some of those hues from the image.

The Fine Florals have been cut into 3 pieces and painted in a pink to start with. 

Then once they were all in place, I added some white gesso, just lightly to add a little interest to the design.

The final chippy used were the Charlotte flowers, these are tucked in amongst the flower clusters.
Again these were painted with an acrylic, in a beautiful yellow to set off against the blues and purples.

I hope this page inspires a little today.

Altered Card Box by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there! 

Tania with you today with the last of my DT projects for June. 
 I have been having a lot of fun making Beyond the Page Projects, so I have another one
 to share. 
I have altered a Card Box.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Charlotte Flowers

*Doily Border

*Mini Branches

I have used the stunning Paper Rose Sunflower Garden Paper Collection to decorate this Card Box. 
I just love this collection - who doesn't love Sunflowers!!

I really wanted my Chippie pieces to really pop on the box so I painted them all with Monte Arte Gold Paint.  I cut the Doily Border in half and added one half along the top of the box and the other half along the bottom panel of the box. I then decorated the box with lots of fussy cut elements and beautiful blooms.  I cut some of the Charlotte Flowers and Foliage in half and tucked them into the flowers on the top of the box.  I also added a Charlotte Flower to the bottom left panel of the box and then popped some flowers around it.  To finish of my Card Box I randomly added some Art Stones around the Flower and Chippie clusters.

Floral Dance Cards by Tania Ridgwell

  Hello there! 

Tania joining you today to share my first DT project for May.  I have created a set of cards. 

"Floral Dance Cards"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*6" Circle Revolution Frames

*Charlotte Flowers

* Celebration Swirls

I created each of my card bases using the gorgeous Paper Rose Floral Dance Paper Collection.

How pretty are the colours.  I used Lilac Rose & Golden Flamingo Opal Polish to colour all my chipboard pieces. 

To construct each of the cards I added one of each of the the Circle Revolution Frames to each card and for the forth card  I used the inner solid Circle.  I embellished them with fussy cut flower elements and then tucked in some of the chippie flourish pieces to each.  To finish I cut the Charlotte Flowers in half and tucked a half in the fussy cut elements on the cards.

'Sunshine and Blue Skies' with Lisa Amiet

 

Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you.
As we have just started SPRING (my personal favourite ;)) in our part of the world,
I thought something bright and fun would be ideal!

Sunshine and Blue Skies

2Crafty Products used:

For this layout, I have started with a bit of
a colourful splash around on my page.

I have then built up my layers,

 including one of the 'Leafy Shrub Set 2' designs,

that I have finished in a bright multicolour of paints,

 coordinated with my papers.

I have also used one of the 'Fern Leaf Set',

that I have finished in aqua paint to match. 

I have also used one of the 'Charlotte Flowers',

that I have finished in bright pink paint. 
I love how delicate these flowers are, and so pretty!

Finally, I have used the 'Sunshine & Blue Skies' title,

that I have painted in a two-tone yellow and aqua, 

to match my layout.

I love how these pieces can bring sunshine to a page!

I hope that you like what I have created,

and that this brings you some sunshine wherever you are!

"Forever In My Heart” Layout by Marie Sabatier

August has been a difficult for me, and did not allow me to present my page on September 1st, 

but finally it's over and I am well again and I so now I am able to resume my passion!!

I chose to create a dynamic and flowery page.

"Forever in my Heart"

2Crafty Chipboards used :

- Forever in my Heart

- Frame Oval Ornate

- Charlotte Flowers

- Leafy Shrub Set 1

- Mini-Branches

As always I applied a coat of white gesso on each chipboard.

On the "Frame Oval Ornate" chipboards I applied Lindy's Gang

 "Oom Pah Pah Pink" colored embossing powder.

To give relief I super imposed two "Frame Oval Ornate" chipboards, the first one 

that I stuck on the bottom of my page. With the second I framed my photo.

I love this chipboard it's really my favorite!

I also applied embossing powder to the light green "Mini-Branches" chipboard.

The "Charlotte Flowers" chipboards have also been embellished 

with embossing powder in the same color as the title.

In the middle of the flowers I slipped the "Leafy Shrub" chipboard embellished 

in white to contrast it.

I love slipping the chipboards between the paper embellishments 

and the flowers it gives a lot of relief.

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Today I'm revealing a layout I made as a guest designer for CSI challenge.
 To solve challenge case file #328, I used the proposed color chart, some stripes, circles,
 a summer theme, butterflies, circular elements, and some flairs.

"Adore"

For the "Charlotte Flowers", in the top-left, I simply decided to leave them at their natural chipboard color. On the "Amelia Frame", I applied a diluted teal paint and rubbed some gold wax on top.

For the "Lattice Leaves", I applied a green shimmering paint. On the "Chunky Dandelion" 

at the top-left, applied some green-ivory embossing enamel.

For the "Dotted Doily Frame" behind the picture, I applied a glossy lime-green paint then 

dabbed some teal embossing ink on top. For the title, "Adore", part of the "Fine Words Set 1",

 I used a teal embossing powder.

I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in this layout:

Hi everybody!

Here is my lastest creation with the most gorgeous chippies on Earth!

  2Crafty Chipboards I have used on this layout...

*Mini #word set 2

*6x4 phrase sticks set 1

*skeleton leaves

*Charlotte flowers

First, I have started by applying some platinum crackle paste on my layout.

Then, I've built up my focal point by layering paper tags under my picture.

Above, you can see that "Charlotte flowers" are really gorgeous and 

they are among my favorite chippies of all categories.

They are simply heat embossed with an ivory powder.

My title, which is part of  "mini #word set 2", is treated with a pearl white spray from Prima.

At the bottom of my picture, you will see a piece of "6x4 phrase sticks set 1".

This chippie is covered with blask gesso and then, treated with 2 colors of waxes.

Finally, the "skeleton leaves" are also heat embossed, but this time, 

with a taupe colored powder.  

They are many of them on this layout.

After that, I added a bunch of flowers and that was it for this time.
