'Making Memories'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share my latest creation,
 using some gorgeous chipboard pieces.

'Making Memories Everyday'

 2Crafty products used:

 'Delicate Lace Border'
'Filmstrips Tiny'
'Mini Cameras'
'Making Memories Everyday Title'
'Travel Icon Set'

For this layout, I was going to colour my chipboard in white,
but I loved how the raw colour of the chipboard
went with the feel and colours of my papers.

I used one of the 'Delicate Lace Border' pieces,
which I have cut to the size of my photos.
I have tucked it under the scalloped edges of one of my die-cut paper pieces.

I also used a ticket from the 'Travel Icon Set',
tucked into my floral elements.

I also used one of the cameras from the 'Mini Cameras',
tucked on the other side of my page.

For my title, I used the 'Making Memories Everyday' title,
which I have adhered to the right side of my page.

I also used some of the 'Filmstrips Tiny',
layered with a passport from the 'Travel Icon Set'
and some floral elements.

I really love the added warmth of the raw chipboard,
as this could have turned out quite cold on the black background.

I really hope that you like what I created.

Until next time,

Lisa

February Inspirations + Video Tutorial
by Lilibleu

Hello 2Crafty fans!

This is Lilibleu here today, giving you my February projects. I chose to create
two pages very different one from one another about their colors and I also
made a video for my second project!

"Enjoy The Journey"

For this first project, I wanted to make a sweet and feminine page with the
colors of Spring. I found a lovely picture of this appetizing cupcake on Pinterest.

I chose to use the "Sabine's Frame Setchipboards for their round shape
reminding the shape of the cup cake. I embossed them with mint green powder.

I really like the large size of my title which perfectly dresses my project.
I painted it using a turquoise paint with silver glitters so that it fits perfectly
with the colors of my page, while being clearly visible.

I painted the large "Roxy's Flourish Vinearabesque in metallic pink so that it
stands out perfectly on my page background. I embossed the "Mini-Branches
 foliage with turquoise powder.

Just like the big arabesque, I painted my second "Mini-Branchesfoliage in
metallic pink. I gathered the flowers in a bouquet by mixing pink and turquoise.

2Crafty Chipboards used :
- Sabine's Frame Set
- Mini-Branches
- Mini cameras
- Enjoy the journey title
- Roxy's Flourish Vine

"#Handsome"

For this second project, I also realized a page. I rarely scrap babies but I love this photo found on Pinterest (I had it for a long time), all the sweetness that emerges from the picture.

You will find the video of this project a little further down :)

I used a hot color scheme to complete this project. The beautiful
"Flourish adornment set 3foliage is embossed with gold powder and
the "Foliage Set 1" is painted with copper paint.

The big heart that frames my picture is embossed with gold powder. I love
the finesse of this chipboard, truly wonderful. The title is embossed with a
powder that gives a weather-worn look.

And here is the video process :

August Layouts by Debbi Tehrani

We've Been Friends Forever

Hi, 2Crafty fans! I"m here to share a couple of layouts with you today.

My friend Laurie is a little camera shy, so I was so happy to have a recent snapshot with her.
We've been friends forever--well, since high school anyway! I made this page for her birthday.

To frame the photo, I used the "Chained Circle Frames." First, I coated the chipboard
with gesso. I didn't have any paint or ink in a color to match my papers, so I mixed up a
bunch of different watercolor paints until I got a matching color and painted the circle.
For some reason, it wasn't wanting to dry, and I was getting impatient, so I sprinkled
some clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.

For my title, I used words from two different sets, "Friendship Mini Word Pack" and
"Mini Word Set 2." I used black embossing powder for the "forever" and mixed up
different watercolor paints for the friends, and used clear embossing powder over that."

I wanted the detailing to show up on the "Mini Camera," so I used a silver leafing pen by Krylon.

I echoed the checkered tile floor in my photograph with the 2Crafty
"Checkerboard Clumps," which I colored with a paintbrush dipped into
Heidi Swapp Black Velvet Color Shine spray, which gave it a little shimmer.

I used the silver leafing Krylon pen on the "Light Bulb" to preserve the lovely etched detail.
The little heart, from "ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars" was treated the same as the word "Friends." The arrow from the "Asst Arrows" was cut off in the closeup photograph (you can see it in my layout above). I left it white from the gesso coating it.

Chained Circle Frames
Friendship Mini Word Pack
Mini Word Set 2
Checkerboard Clumps
Mini Cameras
Light Bulbs
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars
Asst Arrows

Hello Sweet Home

My niece and her husband just bought their first home, so I thought I'd make a page
for them to commemorate this important milestone. I used a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches:

I just love the new lovely loopy "Hello" and wanted to make it a focal point of my page.
It looks enormous on my page because I scrap 8 x 8, but I love how big it looks--
it makes a statement! I coated all my chipboard with gesso, as I almost always do when
I set out to make a page because I'm never sure how I'm going to treat the chipboard.
I used two colors of stamp ink to coat the Hello. I also used stamp ink on the word
"sweet," which" was from the "Friendship Mini Word Pack," and then I used a
tiny polka dot stamp with gray stamp ink to give it a little texture.

I left the birdhouse with the gesso coating and then colored in the entrance hole with a
teal marker and used stamp ink and a paintbrush to color the roof. The little bird was
coated with blue stamp ink, and then added their address on top. The bird and house are
 from the "Birdhouse" set.

The leaves poking out above the flower were snipped from the "Tiny Leaf Stems."
I also used several shades of stamp ink to color them.

The key, which came from the "Keyholes and Locks" sheet, was coated with silver
embossing powder. The little hearts are from the "ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars," and I
treated them the same as I did the word "sweet" in my title.

To echo the doily I used, I chose a piece from the lovely "Lacy Border Set" at the
top of my page and left it with just the gesso coating.

Hello
Friendship Mini Word Pack
Birdhouse
Tiny Leaf Stems
Keyholes and Locks
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars
Lacy Border Set

A Fond Farewell

I'd like to share an extra layout on which I used the fabulous 2Crafty filmstrip.

I made this page for the current challenge at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration.

I used the "Small Filmstrip," coated with a lovely glittery embossing powder,
to fulfill the filmstrip clue in the Case File.

Thank you so much for stopping by to look at my pages. I hope I've given you
some ideas for using the awesome 2Crafty chipboard!

December Layouts By Rachael Funnell

'Christmas Cuties'

Hi There!
I have two layouts to share with you today, that I have created for my December post...
2 Crafty Chipboard have a FANTASTIC range of Christmas theme chipboard pieces!
So! I couldn't resist & have created two Christmas themed pages.
For my first layout of my hubby & daughter with a photo taken Christmas day last year....
I have used these FAB Chipboard pieces!

I have added a coat of gesso to some Checkerboard clumps, cut up into
smaller pieces & placed onto the base of my page....

I have added some black ink the 6' Clock face frames....

Gave these gorgeous 'Wicked Christmas Wreath' a coat of gesso & finished
them off with some bling....

With this 'Christmas Cuties' title I gave it a couple of coats of gesso, then finished it off
by adding some pale blue mist spray along the bottom.....

**************

For my 2nd layout......
'Sitting on Santa's Knee'

The 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces I have used on this layout of my two kids with
a Santa photo, taken back in 2010...

I have given this Sitting on Santa's Knee title a coat of gesso, then to give it a bit
more texture I gave it a coat of light modeling paste & lightly inked it with some red ink.....
It has also been splattered with some black mist!

With this 'Heart Lattice panel' I have inked it with red ink, then sponged very lightly
with some gesso...

I have Inked this Camera with black ink & it also has been splattered
with some White mist spray...

With theses 'Dotted Baubles' I have added a coat of gesso, then a coat of
light modeling paste once dried, & rubbed over them with some  yellow ink!

That's it from me today....
Hope you all have a WONDERFUL time with you family over the Christmas/New Year break!
I will be back in January 2016!
