"Live Out Loud"
layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone.

Here is my new page for this month.

A page with color but a prominence of trendy brown Vintage Shabby Chic but
contrasted by the choice of my photo.

"Live Out Loud"

2Crafty Chipboards used :

- Live Out Loud
- Frame Maria's
- Border Delicate Lace
- Circle Lace Panel

I started by applying a layer of white gesso on the "Border Delicate Lace"
chipboard which I embellished with Lindy's Gang embossing powder
in Bratwurst Brown color then Café au lait.

Then I positioned my layers of paper and my photo that I framed
with the "Frame Maria's" chipboard that I embellished with light pink and dark pink embossing powder a little Firebird wax and to soften a little white gesso.

Here under a different view.

For the title I also used embossing powder of the same color as the
Border chipoboard.

To expand my page I added this "Circle Lace Panel" chipboard that I cut and layered.
On which I applied only a layer of embossing powder.

Here it is finished I hope that this page will have inspired you for your creations
with the wonderful 2CraftyChipboard.

Tammy's June Shares

Hi 2 Crafties!!

Tammy here to share my June creations with you.

First up is a layout titled

"Live out Loud"

A bright fun layout celebrating friendships.
I am a big fan of colour!! and as this layout celebrates a fun occasion vibrant colour is perfect.

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:
'Flower Doilies'
'Grid Bits'
'Lattice Leaves'
'Live out Loud Title'

I began by adding paint to the background.
Onto this I applied a stencil with transparent gloss gel.
This just gives a bit of texture to the background without detracting from the photos.

I added some stamping with black ink to help blend the paint into the cardstock.

I then applied gesso to the 'Grid Bits'.

and also to the 'Flower Doilies'.

I painted the 'Live out Loud' title in black paint

I also painted the 'Lattice Leaves' with the black paint too.

I love how the black pops against the colour and also the white background.

I finished off the layout by layering up behind the photos and adding a cluster of flowers.

Finally to finish I added a few flicks and splashes of black paint,
and some quotes to help tell the story.

My next creation is totally different.

I've gone grungy and rustic.

It's titled:

"Adventure awaits"

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

"Chevron Bits"
"Steampunk Medium Gears"
"Steampunk Small Gears"
"Chain lengths"
"Adventure loopy title"
"Chained Circle Frames"
"Assorted Arrows"

I grunged up the background paper by adding some stamping in black ink,
and also some flicks and blobs of spritz.

I also added some random strips of paper, to which I applied gesso.

As I wanted some of the chipboard to look like rusty metal, I applied Finnabair's Rust Effect Paste.

I was thrilled with how it came out.  So simple.

The rust comes in 3 colours - Red Rust, Brown Rust and Gold Rust.

I just rubbed it over the chipboard quite randomly.

I did this for the 'Steampunk Small Gears' and 'Steampunk Medium Gears'

and also for the 'Chained Circle Frames' and the 'Chain Lengths'.

I painted a few 'Assorted Arrows' and 'Chevron Bits' in black, and also added
black paint to my title 'Adventure loopy font'.

I then added some extra embellishments - quotes, metal bits and flicks of paint.

I really enjoyed doing a grungy layout.
It's been a long time as I get so distracted by COLOUR!

This layout really reminded me to step out of my comfort zone and try something a little different.

I hope you do too!!

I thought I'd share one more layout that I recently created  for Scrap the Girls.

Of course I used 2Crafty Chipboard on it....

I use 2Crafty Chipboard on every layout!!!

It's titled

"Work in Progress"

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

'Polaroid Assorted Frames'
'Fine Heart Border'

I painted the 'Fine Heart Borders'

I painted the 'Polaroid Assorted Frames' and then stamped randomly on top of this.

Well that's it from me!

You can see more on my BLOG.

Happy creating!!

November Inspirations
By Jaya Raghuvanshi

Hello friends!
Jaya here today to share with you all my November inspiration layouts using
the gorgeous 2Crafty chippies..Hope you like them.
Here is my first page-
'FOREVER'

A few close ups-
The titles from 2Crafty in this Loopy font are my favourite.
Especially because they go so perfectly with any kind of page.
I inked the title 'Forever' and heat  embossed with white embossing powder.
I did not go for thick embossing. Then I rubbed and buffed some purple paint on
it to bring out the details and imperfections. I love this transformed chippie so much!

The 'Moroccan panel' chippies were cut and painted with silks. This gave
them a beautiful colour and shimmer. As I wanted a little darker shade of the
paint I went ahead and covered the chippies directly with paint.
If you want to achieve a lighter look, then firstly coat your chippies
with gesso  and then paint onto them when dry.

2Crafty chippies used-

Forever Loopy font
Moroccan Panel 6"
Chloe's Vines

'LIVE OUT LOUD'
My second creation is this masculine layout. No flowers.
Only some chipboard pieces and metal embellishments :)
Grungy pages can be such a task to accomplish but with the
gorgeous 2Crafty chippies, its a cake-walk.

The chippies have been painted using gesso and then stamped with
script stamp and archival ink. This gave them grunge look I was aiming for.

The 'arrows' come in a sheet and there are around 30 designs to choose from in
the set! I love to make masculine pages with arrows and gears.

The 'Messy square frame' is just perfect to frame masculine pictures.
I did the same to this as well. covered it with gesso and stamped with
archival ink to match with the look of the page. Isn't this looking perfect?
 I so love it!

Here are the 2Crafty chippies used-

Live Out Loud
Messy square frames- 6"
Assorted Arrows

And one more-

'GOOD TIMES'

Love these gorgeous chippies! The 2Crafty chipboard swirls are the best.
They can immediately transform and average looking page to a gorgeous one.

The chippies used here are-
Line words- Goodtimes Borders
Mini flourish bits
Foliage set 1
ATC Tiny hearts and stars

Hope you like my November inspirations.
See you again soon!
Have a great day!
Jaya
