Tania with you today to share the second of my DT projects for August. I have created a layout.
"Captured Memories".
2 Crafty Chipboard Used:
*Captured Memories
*Angie's Vines
*Wrought Iron
*Lace Doily
Once I had created my background I set about putting my page together. I first added some paper under the photo to build up some layers .
I coloured the Captured Memories, Angie's Vine's and Lace Doily with Prima Wax Rose Gold. I added lots of fussy cut elements and assorted flowers around the photo. I cut up the Angie's Vines and the tucked pieces in amongst them.
I added the Captured Memories title to the bottom left of the photo. To finish off the page I added a raw Wrought Iron chippie to the top and bottom of the layout, tucking them under the paper layers.
Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout. Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.
Hi Lovelies!
Elena with you again. Today I will show you a pretty
layout with my daughter.
This photo was taken many years ago, when she was a little tender baby. :)
Now it is so difficult to take a picture, but before she just loved it :))))
I used a very light background and added bright contrasting details.
I love 2Crafty chipboards, I want everyone to see these beautiful flourishes,
& that they do not just merge with the rest of the decorations.
A little brown is in the photos, so I decided to take a brown
embossing powder & cover the title & flourish chippies with it.
Even though it is the Christmas season and everyone is feeling festive I thought I would just share a layout other then Christmas related.
This one uses a Wedding photo but it could easily be used for any other 'Amazing Day' subject.
'Amazing Day'
Products:
- 'Amazing Day' sentiment
- Wrought Iron Border - large
- Wrought Iron Borders - Medium
I added some opal magic violet-gold to the Wrought Iron Chipboard.
Unfortunately the camera is only picking up on the gold colour.
I layered the chipboard behind my photo and other embellishment as my main feature of the layout. The detail on this chipboard is so amazing I wanted to make sure it stood out from the rest.
Because I used a wedding photo for this layout I picked up some nice pieces of lace to represent the stunning wedding dress.
The 2Crafty Chipboard sentiment was coloured with some soft pink paint, again to pick up on some colours in the photo as well as some of the other embellishments used.
The flowers and laser cuts are of course from 49 and Market and were layered on top of the chipboard with some foam squares to add dimension.
And that is it for me for this month.
I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Do you trade ATC cards with crafters? I love to trade these lovely small cards with my
crafty friends. I think that they give me so much inspiration. Also when you trade it can
be a good memory from scrapbooking crops and events.
I have made ATC's with colors and at the same time they have a little touch of vintage.
The ATC Cards are 2.5" x 3.5"
I really love these flower chipboards, " Groovy Flowers"
and they are my focal point on the ATC cards.
This set with "Tiny Hearts and Stars" are really useful and in the set there are
so many so I can use them on many projects.
The chipboard is painted with gesso and also on the top some golden wax.
The "Lacey Border Set" makes a good match to the "Groovy Flowers".
These words for ATC -"ATC Word Set 1" are useful on many projects.
I have used Rainbow colors from 13 arts.

"My Happy Son"
In this photo my son looks really happy. And I am happy for him, because he lives a good life.
Three days ago he had his 25th birthday. Many congratulations to my son.
Around this photo I have "Frame Loopy Love Hearts" I like it when its sparkling.
The word happy comes from the set "Arrow Word Set" and its perfect here,
and with golden embossing powder, I really love it.
I have some "Leafy Twig Branches" that stick out under the photo and the frame.
This 12 inch border "Wrought Iron Border" makes a contrast to golden chipboards.
I have embossed it with shiny black embossing powder.

"Thank you Card"
I enjoy making cards with vintage pictures. So have some and I also needed a card to give to friend.
Have made the background paper by self with distress ink and some stamps.
Here you can see how the "Addys Butterflies" has landed on the card.
The butterflies have gesso, acrylic paint, glitter and embossing powder on them.
The frame " Lucy´s Flourish", is beautiful, so I didnt want to fill the card with to much decorations.
The text on the card Thank You comes from a useful set "6x6 Mixed Sentiment Card Words".
