Winter Rose Cards by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there! 

Tania with you today to share the second of my DT projects for June.
  I have created a set of cards.

"Winter Rose Cards"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Mini Branches

*Doily Disc Set 1

*Lacey Border Set 1

*Fine Word Set 1

*Fine Word Set 2

I created each of my card bases using the gorgeous Paper Rose Winter Rose Paper Collection.

I just love the colour palette in these patterned papers. I used a variety of mediums to colour my chipboard - for the Lacey Borders I used Heidi Swapp Navy Color Shine.  The mini branches are coloured with Brushed Iron Wax.  The Fine Word Set 1 & 2 chipboard has been coloured with Dylusions White Linen Paint and the Doily Disc chipboard has been left raw.

To construct each of the cards I embellished them with fussy cut flower elements, then added my chipboard pieces and to finish I added a small flower and sentiment to each card.

Hello 2Crafty friends,

I hope you're all doing great!
Today I'm sharing a layout that's slightly outside my usual colour palettes.
However, I'm quite happy with the result! I find that the chipboards blend nicely with the background.

"Tranquil Moments"

 

For the "Doily Disc Set 1", I applied one coat of white gesso, two coats of pink sandy paint and applied a bit of black ink on the border. On the "11" Fine Floral Frame Set", I used ivory embossing enamel.

I left the "Frame Handrawn Hearts" to its natural chipboard color.

For the title, "Tranquil Moments", I inked the chipboard fully in black. Then I rubbed gold wax on top to get this shiny effect.

Hello there 2 Crafty fans!

Rach with you today, sharing some more 

September 2 Crafty inspiration... 

This layout featuring my gorgeous girl and these

2 Crafty Chipboard:

Tiny film strip

As usual I start with adding some stamping, paper layers and fussy cutting...

Then it was onto preparing the chipboard, 

adding a thick of coat of gesso to a couple of  Doily Disc's, 

then cut one of those disc, 3/4 - 1/4 before adhering them to my page..

Wanting to make a bit of a statement with the Tiny film strip

So! I went with inking it black, cutting it in half then placing

either side of my photos's...

Next! with a more subtle approach

 to the 2020 inking it in sliver..

Then onto the Aztec Arrow, I gave it 2 coats of gesso

before adhering it.... And lastly the Gorgeous Girl -my title

from the ATC - Title stick set 1 where I have inked it pink...

And then finalizing my layout with some black splattering....

Emma here with you today and I'm excited to share with you my latest creation for 2Crafty.

 And i'm also very happy to say i have put a little video together for this one also.

Here are the wonderful chip board pieces i used....

If you follow me you will know that i adore chipboard and use it pretty much on every scrapbook page i create. And you will also know that i like to keep me chipboard finishes quite simple yet complimentary to the layout as well as the actual chipboard piece.

I decided to emboss both hinges and 1 doily with no primer or paint. Keeping them more raw like.

Then with the Clock Face and another doily i primed with white gesso and again colour embossed them. On the final Doily i painted it with a metallique acrylic.
 These were my finishes. Simple but effective.

I had lots of fun creating this page especially while using this fun image i found on Pinterest.
 It played the major part of my inspiration.

"Love That Smile"Layout by Elena Martynova

Hi! Elena here with my new layout for my favorite 2Crafty! 

I chose a picture of a cute girl reading a book on the window. 

And the palette of this photo determined my choice 

of paper and decorative elements.

"Love That Smile"

Beautiful branches of Chloe's Vines chipboard are painted black.

 Then I tinted a little metallic green and added textures with a stamp and embossing powder.

The title Love that Smile is covered with two layers of black powder. 

Which gave it more volume and Shine.

Very beautiful elements in the Doily Disc Set 1. 

They are painted with brown-gold metallic paint and sprinkled with two types of powders. 

One of them with large particles.

These doilies look like exotic fairy flowers on the branches of Chloe's Vines.

Perhaps the girl in the photo is reading a book of fairy tales, and her imagination turns
 the walls of the room into a wonderful world inhabited by fairy-tale characters.

I also added some flowers, lace and a large glitter.
