Sanctuary - By Emma Zappone

 Hi 2crafty friends.
Today I share a nature inspired layout.

And these are the amazing chippy pieces used...

Barb Wire
Amelias Frames
Mini Travel words 1

I love how this page took form. Not my usual style to start off with, using modelling paste adding colour..etc....but rather using a stencil and adding oxide ink through it on a white cardstock base.

This gave a great earthy feel which was exactly what I was after. Then I added some rub ons and some stamping. This was the base complete. Within my composition I added the amazing chipboard pieces.

Wanting to keep the warm earthy tones I was going to keep the chippy raw, I decided against it and added a light tint from some oxides instead.

The mini word I chose for this project is Sanctuary.
It really spoke to me and suited the image I chose.
We all need to go back to nature and breathe the fresh air.

And the last piece of chippy added was the barb wire. I chose this chipboard as a focus on what mankind has done to slowly ruin our forests and our nature. Slowly though, I believe this earth will grow back to the beauty it always was.

I hope that you have been inspired today and I look forward to seeing you next month.

Stay crafty, Em xx

"Good Vibes"
By Charmane Sharp

With the weather warming up I thought I would
share this layout created around the amazing view from our boat.

This was a trip taken out on the water, on Good Friday
as I enjoyed the Island coming into view knowing I would relax.

Adding 2Crafty Chipboard to my Uniquely Creative Collection
brought in the Beach Vibes I was looking for. I love how
Chipboard can transform a collection.

2Crafty Chipboard used...

Title- Good Vibes
Asst C hain Lengths
Fishing net bits
Mini Swirls 1
Anchors

This time around I decided to transform all the chipboard with ink.
This is an easy way to colour your chipboard to match your layout.
The Title was inked with Turquoise and a little Beige dabbed over it.
This sits on the Anchor which was coloured with Grey and Silver
and attached to one of the chain lengths to reflect an anchored boat.

I love how adding in some Mini Swirls amongst my flower clusters
adds to the water ripple reflections in my photo. I inked them a Pearl
White and dabbed a little Beige on.

Using a piece of the Fishing Net bits at the base of my photo pulls
the boating feel together for my layout. These are favourite
chipboard pieces of mine when creating beach layouts. I inked
it Coral and blended some Pearl White over the top to give a
faded look.

Thanks for stopping by and seeing my creation for 2Crafty
Chipboard. Please check back in next month for my
November Design Team work.

"You"
Mixed Media Layout
By Di Garling

Hi there 2Crafty fans, Thanks for stopping by.
Today I have a little mixed media layout to share with you &
naturally it features some stand out gorgeous pieces of 2Crafty chipboard.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Handrawn Heart Frames
YOU- loopy font title
Squiggly Heart Cluster

As my layout is such lovely soft pastel aqua tones, I though I would
do my chipboard heart frames & heart border in a strong jet black acrylic paint
to create a very strong point of difference.

I love this contrast. 💙

I have also used the "YOU - loopy font title". I really love this font.
I have heat embossed it in white
& then placed it on top of one of the flower clusters.

I hope you like my layout today & maybe took some inspiration from it.

I am also going to release this layout as a kit.

You can see all the details of this kit over on my blog.

Hello! You are beautiful ~ by Lisa-Marie

 Hi there!

Today I am excited to share my latest creation with you.
I had so much fun creating this one; and for the first time, I altered my chippies BEFORE
I even started my layout (it's always the other way around!).

I used these chippies on this piece:

Both my little cactus plants were treated the same.  I coloured them with some coloured pencils, making sure I shaded a lot.  I then swiped on some white enamel accents and used my
finger to dab and blend it.  Then I topped them both with Glossy Accents.
My 'hello' title has been swiped with yellow Distress Oxide and the wording was given a
coat of black enamel accents.

I used 2 shades of yellow oxide on my 'you are beautiful' chippie before coating it with Glossy Accents.  For the 2 sets of leaves, I swiped both of them with some yellow distress oxide
and then used my blending tool to swipe along the edges with some orange distress oxide.
I finished them both off with Glossy Accents as well.

I hope I have inspired you in some way!
Take care and Stay Safe!

Capture ~ Layout by Priya Mishra

Hello Friends,
Welcome to 2Crafty Chipboards blog.

Today I'm sharing a simple layout for a soft Pastel inspiration.
I took out some beautiful chipboard from my 2crafty stash and created this layout.

2Crafty Chipboard Used:

On all chipboards I used white embossing powder and heat set them.
They look even more beautiful after getting whitewashed like this.

I took out the background paper which has a hint of English blue and some prints
for 3Quarter Designs. Then created some texture with stencil and texture paste.
I worked around with some stamps first then created the look.
Then I put it all together.

After all the chipboard was down, I added the flowers and the branches.
I added the sentiment chipboard on top of a flower which gives it a little dimension.

And that's it!   I hope you like it.
Until next time, stay safe and keep on crafting!

Let’s Explore
By Marie Claude Rodier

Hello,

For this layout, I went outside my shabby confort zone and opted for a soft steampunk inspiration.
I dug into my 2 Crafty stash for gears and chained elements.
Final result is halfway my usual style and something new and different. I really like it.

Let’s Explore

Let’s Explore final look is from a multi-layered process of metallic black, silver and teal
acrylic paints and waxes.

Chained Circle Frame, Giant Gears and Steampunk Medium Gears were all basecoated
with gesso and embossed with sparkling white powder. Bronze wax was also added here
and there as shading.

Circle Word Tag Set 2 piece was basecoated with gesso and highlighted with green watercolor.
