"beauty" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Here's my second creation of November.

I was inspired by this beautiful paper from the "Echoes of Time" collection. I selected a photo of my great-niece in her beautiful romantic dancer outfit, as well as some stunning chipboards, including my favorite, the "frame-oval-ornate."

To decorate the chipboards, I use 49 and Market inks. After applying an even layer of white gesso to each element, I choose the shades "Lavender Kisses" and "Fossil" and apply them randomly with a foam applicator. To break up the uniformity, I add a few rub-on transfers.

On the right side of my photograph, I'm creating a bouquet of flowers. I've incorporated "steampunk-gears-medium" chipboards among the flowers, adding a unique dimension to the whole.

I use the new foliage models "foliage set 15" to decorate my beautification group.

To finalize everything, I chose the words "capture" and "beauty" 

Finally, in order to ensure visual consistency between the two groups of embellishments, I integrate butterflies as connecting elements.

'Your Smile is like SUNSHINE' with Lisa Amiet

Hello all! 

It's Lisa here on the blog today to share 

some scrappy goodness with you.

'Your Smile is like Sunshine'

2Crafty products used: 

I have scrapped a photo of my daughter, 

feeding some wallabies :)

For this layout I have used one of the 'Frame Oval Ornate',

that I have finished in a bright white with embossing powder.

I have also used one of the 'Field Mushrooms',

which I have finished in a two tone iridescent finish, 

pinkish white for the stalks and purplish white for the tops,

and have placed it in the centre of the frame.

For my title I have used one of the 

'Your Smile is like Sunshine' titles,

which I have also embossed in a bright white. 

 I really like how this layout turned out, 

I hope that you like it too!

"Perfectly IMPERFECT" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all right!

In France, the weather is completely chaotic, and on this first May, 

it is raining constantly and it is still cold.

Fortunately, scrap can brighten our day. 

My inspiration is a romantic Shabby Chic layout.

"Perfeclty IMPERFECT"

The chipboard used:

- Perfectly IMPERFECT Title

- Frame Oval Ornate

- Foliage Set 11

- Loopy Heart Swirl 

        

Exceptionally I did not use a photo of my grandchildren. 

I realize this page to offer on the occasion of Mother’s Day to the mother of this little girl that I keep.

I apply a layer of white gesso on each chipboard. 

To frame my photo, I use one of my favorite chipboards: "Frame Oval Ornate". 

To embellish it I add a thin layer of wax "Old White".

This new "foliage" is really beautiful. It adds a very precious touch to my two flower clusters.

It is covered with wax "Lucky Emerald" and "Heather Hills".

I add a beautiful title that perfectly matches this photo, as well as this "Loopy Heart Swirl" 

which brings a nice finishing touch to my layout.

I choose the wax "Sweet Rose" for the title and "White Gold" for the heart.

I hope you enjoyed my chipboard selection and that it gave you some ideas.

"Happiness BLOOMS from Within" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Already on August 1, time passes so quickly.

In France, we are in the middle of the summer holiday period, and it is good to be able to enjoy it.

I made a bright and flowery layout. 

"Happiness BLOOMS from Within"

The 2Crafty chipboards used:

- Happiness BLOOMS from Within

- Frame Oval Ornate

- Mini Flourish Bits

- Ginny's Flourish Set

I first apply a layer of white gesso on each chipboard.

I chose my favorite chipboard "Frame Ovale Ornate" which corresponds very well to the choice 

of my paper.

And, he frames this picture of Mia so well with his beautiful smile and sparkling eyes. 

It is not always easy to grasp these moments.

On the frame, I apply "Purely White" hot embossing powder 

I create two clusters of flowers on each side, and I add these beautiful "flourish’s" 

that I embellished with Distress Oxide ink and "Holographic" hot-embossing powder.

For the title, same process. 

It’s the title that inspired me for this layout, it sounds so good.

I hope that this layout gives you some happiness, especially the desire to create.

"Perfection" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I present to you my second inspiration for this month of September.

A still romantic layout!

"Perfection"

The 2CraftyChipboards used :

- PA Decorative Rod Set 1

- Lattice Leaf Set

I applied a coat of white gesso to each chipboard.

I used my adorable "Frame Oval Ornate" chipboard 

which I embellished with Lindy's Gang "Café au Lait" embossing powder 

then I gave a little contrast by adding lightly "Turquoise Satin" wax and "Bronze Age".

This is the star chipboard of my layout I love its super sleek design.

To stay in the same style I chose these chipbards "PA Decorative Rod Set".

They are precious and delicate.

To harmonize with the background of my paper, 

I chose Turquoise embossing powder.

To bring more detail and relief I also added some "Lattice Leaf Set".

The magic of chipboards.

For the title I added nothing, I liked it as it is!

Hi everyone,

It’s my turn to show you a new project made using 2 Crafty Chipboards. Summer vacations are just around the corner for my family. Because of COVID, we won’t have the chance to go to the beach again this year, but I instead decided to use older pictures to recreate special memories.

Treasure this moment

Intricate Seahorses were covered with gesso and lime acrylic paint. Palm leaves set pieces were painted with evergreen acrylic paint and dry brushed with gesso.

Frame Oval Ornate was covered with black gesso and highlighted with white gesso. Beautiful from Circle Word Tag Set 1 was dry brushed with white gesso.

Treasure this moment from 6x4 Phrase Sticks Set 5 was also dry brushed with gesso.

"LOVE" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello, dear friends of 2Crafty!

Here I am to present you my first layout of this month of June. 

A very colorful and flowery page to do good to morale. 

With this photo of my little girl showing her smile because she lost her first tooth. 

They have just finished growing up that they are already falling.

2Crafty Chipboard used:

- Frame Oval Ornate

- Mini Decorative Frame Set 4

- Fine Floral Corner

On this layout I used almost nothing but new chipboards.

As always, I applied a coat of white gesso to each chipboard and then Lindy's Gang 

"starbright-gold-green" embossing powder to match the photo.

I chose my favorite chipboard "Frame Oval Ornate" to frame my photo 

it is so beautiful and elegant.

I also used this new "Mini Decorative Frame 4" in chipboard there is a whole new range 

of small frames that I love. 

They are superb for adding detail to the layout.

I embellished the "Fine Floral Corner" and "Viney Love" particle boards in the same way.

They are new too and this is my first time using them, 

they are really beautiful and the title design is adorable.

I chose to layer the O to bring a bit of fantasy.

Here is a new layout to finish, hope you like it and can use these new 2Crafty!
