"Adventure Rebel"
By Emma Zappone

Hi everyone,
Emma here today on the 2Crafty blog.
Today’s layout was inspired by this Pop Art image I found on Pinterest
of Carrie Fisher mixed with a little  David Bowie...

I chose the red background to match the stripe on Carrie's face.
Then to get the space vibe I chose the square collage panel and cut it up to
sit behind my image, I inked this with a Distress Oxide ink and then with
my finger applied a Prima wax over the top.

To mimic the pattern on her face I used part of the squiggle border which I painted
with  Dina Wakley paint and again went over it with the Wax. I think this is my
new fave product. Plus it smells so good 😉

The ‘adventure’ word I inked with black archival ink and left it as it was.

Here are the 2Crafty products I used......

I really had fun with this layout, taking my time, creating layers and just enjoying the process.

I look forward to seeing you all next month.
Until then, Em xx

November Inspiration
By Kareen Dion

Hello 2Crafty fans!
So it's my turn this month to present you my inspiration.
November already! As it's almost winter here in Canada, it's that the time
of the year where we begin to think about Christmas...but I'm so not ready yet!
So today, I'll show you a sunny creation and a winter creation!

 **Friends**

For my first layout, I wanted to have a sunny page.
I chose a picture of a friend of mine with myself.

I used the Palm Leaves Set embossing with white powder.
I also used Squiggle Border embossing with a soft pink powder. I love this border,
it enhances the layout perfectly! And for the title, I used the word friends from the
Arrow Word Set 2, & I also embossed it with white embossing powder.

Some close-ups :

**Magical**
For my second layout, I chose a more wintery picture.
I have worked with red and turquoise colors here, I love them together!

On the background I used the Mini Bubble Square with embossing powder.
With red embossing powder, I also used the Corner Geneive behind my picture and a flair.
I added the perfect Linear Snowflakes and finished with the magical title from Fine Word Set 2.

April Inspiration - Two Layouts
PLUS TWO VIDEO TUTORIALS
By Mary Catt

''Be Yourself''

Hello 2Crafty fans!
Mary here with you today and I have two layouts and two video tutorials to share with you.

The first one is a layout in black, white and teal tones. For this one, I used 7dots papers
from the ''Homegrown'' collection, Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and
powders and a Cuts2luv flair. All the flowers are Prima Marketing.
I have also made a VIDEO TUTORIAL of the procedure.

Be Yourself

I based my page on the More Than Words April challenge.

Some close ups...

I created texture on my background by I applying modeling paste through a stencil.
When dried, I used ''Shabby Turbine Teal'' and ''Merci Beaucoup Mint'' Lindy's Stamp
Gang sprays to color my page.

I heat embossed the ''Corner Annalise'' and the title chipboards with the ''Black Forest Black'' Lindy's powder. The chipboards from the ''Element Set 1'' were also embossed with the ''Desert Moon Turquoise'' powder.

To finish, I added some black micro beads and platinum glass glitter with gel medium.

 ''Amaze Yourself''

And the second one was made with Prima Marketing papers from the''Rose Quartz'' collection,
Prima Marketing flowers, Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and powders and a flair from Cuts2luv.

Amaze Yourself

I based my page on the Mixed Media & Art April challenge.

And a closer look at the details...

I gave texture on the background with modeling paste and a stencil.
Then, I added some color with ''Cotton Candy Pink'' and ''Bells of Ireland Green'
' Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.

I heat embossed the pieces from the ''Moroccan Panel'' chipboard with ''Oakleaf Olive''
Lindy's powder. The title and the ''Squiggle Border'' were also embossed with the
''Black Forest Black'' powder.

When everything was glued down, I added made some splashes with white acrylic artists ink.

That's all from me my friends!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
