Just Me - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!
So happy to be back to share my next layout!

2Crafty Products used:

Just Me
Lattice Leaves
Mini Flourish Bits
Victoria's Large Flourish
Marianne's Butterflies
Mini Dotty Bits
Leafy Shrub Set 1

I always prep my chipboard with white chipboard then alter them.

I then used two blue shades and a copper color of watercolor powders by using a wet paintbrush and then spritzing with water to get the watercolor look.  For the title I used the copper color watercolor powder then added glitter copper paint.  To keep with the glittery look I added some glitter to the other chipboard pieces and some flowers from my stash

Handsome - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!

Laura here today to share a layout I created of our oldest!

2Crafty Products used;

Mini Dotty Bits
Decorative Poles
Foliage Set 12
Mini Word Set 4

After prepping the paper with clear gesso, a stencil with texture paste and colorants I started
to alter the fantastic chipboard.

I wanted the chipboard to look color washed, almost a tie dye effect.  I covered each piece with white gesso then allowed them to air dry.  I used yellow ochre Brusho powder, and magicals powder in shabby turbine teal and rusty lantern line.  I brushed a bit of each colour on then spritzed with water.  I added more colour where needed then allowed to air dry.  I lightly inked the outside of each piece with torched timber ink

I wanted the title to be slightly different from the other pieces so I inked it with peacock feathers distress ink.

Hope you feel inspired, see you again soon!

'Explore, Dream, Discover'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty lovers!
It's Lisa here today to share my latest creation with you.

Explore, Dream, Discover

2Crafty products used:

'Explore, Dream, Discover Title'
'Mini Dotty Bits'
'Steampunk Chain Clock Cluster'
'Steampunk Gears Small'
'Steampunk Gears Medium'

For this layout, I have used a black background,
as I really wanted the colours to pop on this layout.
So I first got to splashing some colour around ;)

I have used one of the 'Steampunk Chain Clock Cluster',
that I have finished in an ombre
of bright yellow, green and blue paints.

I have also used quite a few of the 'Dotty Bits',
that I have also finished the same way.

And a couple finished in black near the clock.

I also used one of the 'Steampunk Gears Small',
and one of the 'Steampunk Gears Medium',
both finished in the same colours
as the clock and layered for dimension.

To finish, I used the 'Explore, Dream, Discover Title',
again finished in the same ombre yellow, green and blue.

I really love how this layout turned out,
I was hoping to mirror the neon colours in my photo onto my chipboard.
I think it worked out :)

I hope that you like it too.

Until next time!

Lisa

You Have My Whole Heart by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!
Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for October.
  I have created another layout.

"You Have My Whole Heart"

2 Crafty Products Used:

*Foliage Set 12
*Mini Dotty Bits
*You Have My Whole Heart Title
*12 x 12 Weathered Clock Face Frames

I have used the gorgeous Mintay 'Traveller' Collection to create the base for my layout.

I coloured the Weathered Clock Face Frame chippie with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink and then randomly dabbed on some Old Denim Wax to it.  The Foliage and You Have my Whole Heart title chippies have been coloured with Heidi Swapp color shine.  Once my title was dry I also randomly dabbed on some of the Old Denim Wax.  The Mini Dotty Bits chippies have been coloured with the Old Denim Wax.  I added some paper layers under my photo and then tucked the layers between the Clock Face Frame chippie and added it to my background page.

I added lots of paper blooms to the bottom left and top right of my photo and then tucked in the Foliage chippies amongst the flower clusters.  I added some of the Mini Dotty Bits chippies to each of the flower clusters.  I finished of my page by adding my You Have my Whole Heart title.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.  Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.
Tania xx
