Beautifully Framed

Hi Everyone, Chrissy here with my first creation for March…

I decided to use this gorgeous 11inch frame as the main focus of my layout. So I wanted to keep the rest of my layout quite simple, which can be difficult for me as I tend to not know when to stop adding embellishments. My base features three layers and the centre consists of descending circles, to finish off my base I have added some stitching.

The gorgeous, Large Circle Chipboard Frame stands out on the simple, clean black & white dotted base paper. 

My layers of stamped and fussy cut doodle embellishments are finished off with some gorgeous Flourishes tucked in and around them. 

I have also added the small flower from the “Flower Petals” pack, just tucked this under the centres of the Doodle Clusters. 

More fine and delicate flourish pieces added to the bottom cluster of embellishments.

I think these little Chipboard details look delightful!!

“So Beautiful”

Hi everyone, I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas, 

I am so excited to show you my very first project for 2Crafty. 

I have created this layout and used one of my favourite photo's of my daughter.

To start with I gave all the gorgeous Chipboards a couple of coats of white paint, it doesn't 

need to be perfect, I quite like it to look a bit textured, so dabbing it on adds to that. 

I stitched along the edge of the Stitched Lace Border Chippie with some lavender coloured thread....

I love the fact that the chippie's are quite flexible, so I layered up the butterflies 

and shaped their wings to give some height....

I also shaped some of the beautiful flourish stems and tucked these 

in and around my fussy cut flowers....

I added the beautiful Ariel Spray Chippie to the left of my photo to frame it -

 with some more of the layered butterflies....

I love the Thistle Shrub.....I divided it up and tucked little bits of it to the right and left of

my photo and also added one of the chippie's from the Leafy Shrub set....

I hope you like my layout and I hope I have inspired you to layer up, 

shape and maybe even stitch on your chipboards.

so happy you could join us.

'Treasure'

I used a 'Christmas Chipboard' piece on this non Christmas layout and I think it 

fits in perfectly with the other gorgeous 2Crafty pieces as I added the same

 colour to all the 'leave' chipboard pieces to keep a uniform palette.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...

- Foliage Set 5

- Chicken Wire

- Mini Word Set 1

I also added some gold wax to all the pieces to make them
look more vibrant rather then one flat colour.

I added some copper ink to the 'Chicken Wire' chipboard piece as well as the sentiment,
 I don't like to use too many different colours as I think it confuses and doesn't blend well.

I also added some gorgeous 49 and Market flowers and laser cuts.

A few prills were added for that finishing touch.

'Isn't She Lovely' layout by Hetty Hall

Hi there 2Crafty friends and welcome to another blog post!

Such gorgeous new products, just love how delicate they all are!

I added some silver embossing powder to the sentiment. Just love all the pastel colours in the papers so wanted to make sure I kept it all in tune.

I bought some pearl metallic paint dabber the other day and just love it. It has a beautiful coverage and I added this to both the 'Fencing Wire Panel', Leaf Set 1 and the '11" Flowery Frame'. It also ended up giving it some lovely texture and more of a shabby chic look.

Of course I added some gorgeous '49 and Market' flowers and a bit of lace for some texture from my stash.
