Perfect as you are by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

Today I'd like to share a layout I made featuring the daughter of one of my besties.
Spring is in full bloom here and I find that the picture captured the warmth and joy that
we feel when we awaken from our long winter slumber.

"Perfect as you are"

I cut some parts of the "Leafy Shrub Set 1" to make it blend with the "Esther Vine". Then, on both, I applied two coats of honey ink and inked the borders in black.

For the "Chunky Dandelion" and "Whispy Dandelions", I used one coat of metallic red paint and inked the borders in black. For the title, "Perfect as you are", I applied some black-bronze embossing enamel.

For this layout, I used the following 2Crafty chipboards:

"Perfect as YOU Are" A Sweet and Tender Layout by Jenny J.

  Hi everyone!

Here am I today with a new inspiration for you.

Here are the 2Crafty chipboards that I've used here

*Diamond chunks

*Flower doileys

As usual, I've worked on my background at the beginning,

but we can barely see that now so forget it !

In my focal point, I've mixed papers, cardboard and chippies.

The "Diamond chunks bits" are covered with black gesso and wax.

We can see those pieces also at the bottom of my layout.

In that pic above, you can also see a piece of "Flower doileys", heat embossed in white

and a "Mini branches", simply sprayed with a Lindy's green spray.

Others chippies are treated those ways.

You will see that in the following pictures.

I've tried something different on my title.

I've painted "Perfect as YOU are" with my irresistible spray

to give a glossy and bold effect on the word.

"Perfect As You Are" Layout and Video by Marie Sabatier

I am happy to find you and present my new page to you with a step by step video.

Here in France it's vacation time but you have to be careful so no travel.

To make my page, I was inspired by the leaves of the background of the photo, 

so I chose this magnificent chipboard "Viney 11” Page Frame".

Here are some close-ups, but don't hesitate to watch the video for more details.

I really like big frames in chipboards.

I applied several colors of embossing powder to get the effect I wanted.

I used only two colors but in different shades to make my page.

I applied a light color on the bird to differentiate it from other embellishments.

On the title I alternated two colors, I like the end result.

 Hello 2Crafty Fans!

I hope you're all safe and doing fine in these special times.
 On my side I've been homeschooling my son and daughter for a few weeks now and
we're having a pretty good time doing so.
 They're keeping contact with their friends with daily video calls and so far we're
 still all in a good mood! 

Today, I'm presenting a layout I made featuring my son, who has grown so much in the past few months since the lockdown begin here. He's really turning into a sweet teenager (if a bit stubborn!).

"Perfect as you are"

On the "Corner Crackle", I applied two coats of green/jade metallic paint. For the "Steampunk Cog Frame", I applied silver embossing powder then a bit of black embossing ink on top.

I left the "hansome lad" chipboard from the "Mini Title Stick Set 1" to its original appearance, as I found it was a good fit for the colour theme I was going for.

For the title, "Perfect as you are", I used a sandy black embossing powder.

Hi lovelies,

Today, I am showing you a new beach theme layout!

It has been a while since my last one...

This one is in a non traditional color scheme with earthy tones of brown and deep blue.

I have used beautiful 2Crafty frame flourishes to recreate the horizon shown on my picture.

"Perfect as you are"

"Perfect as you are title" was embossed with Lindy's Cafe au lait powder. 

The two-tones color is obtained by overheating the powder for a few minutes.

Frame Celia's Flourish and Frame Lucy's Flourish were both covered with dark 

brown acrylic paint and tucked under the main clustering.

Clock Face Disc was also painted with brown acrylic 

and placed in the upper left corner of the clustering.
