Handsome Lad by Tania Ridgwell

 Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share the second of my DT projects for January.  I have created a layout for my second share.  I've stepped out of my comfort zone today with this layout not a flower in sight lol!

"Handsome Lad"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Geometric Arrows
*Giant Gears
*Steampunk Gears Medium
*Steampunk Chain Rectangle Frame
*Mini Title Stick Set 1

I have used the awesome Unmistakable Creations 'Daily Shift' Collection to create the base for my Layout.

I coloured all the Gear chippies with Melted Chocolate Dylusions Spray and once dry I randomly wiped over them with a White Posca Paint Pen.  I coloured the Steampunk Chain Rectangle Frame chippie using both Melted Chocolate & London Blue Dylusions Sprays and once it was dry I did the same with the White Posca Paint Pen.  The Geometric Arrows and Handsome Lad chippie Title from the Mini Title Stick Set have been coloured with London Blue Dylusions Spray and again wiped over with the White Posca Paint Pen.

I added lots of paper layers under my photo and placed the Steampunk Chain Rectangle Frame chippie over top.  I embellished around my photo with the the Gear chippies, added a Geometric Arrow chippie to the top and bottom of the Layout and finished off by adding the Handsome Lad Title chippie along the bottom left of my photo.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.
Tania xx

"fantastic day"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

 Hello everyone,

Here is my second inspiration for this month of February, a layout inspired
by the theme of travel with a grunge style.
Using a photo of my grandson posing. I love it!

"fantastic day"

The 2CraftyChipbord used:

- Mini Title Stick Set 5
- 12 X 12 Clock Face Frames
- Stars Pack
- Geometric Arrows
- Steampunk Arrow Set 1
- Steampunk Gears Small
- Industrial Light Bulbs

I apply a layer of white gesso, I repeat myself systematically during each presentation,
but I prefer to mention it.

Mostly, I used Oxide Distress inks.

I started with the chipboard "Clock Face Frame", I love it so much.
To embellish it, I use the color "Frayed Burlap"

I then embellished the "Stars" with the colors "rustic wilderness" and "mustard seed,
by not applying myself, to give an aged effect.

On the chipboard "Steampunk arrow" I mixed the colors "faded jeans" and "rustic wilderness".
By combining different colors, I was able to superimpose the chipboards while leaving them visible.
I left the chipboards "Mini Title" in a natural way, they harmonize so well!

Playing with these beautiful chipboards is a real pleasure, they perfectly sublimate a layout.

Good scrap!

"love this memory"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Here is my first inspiration of this month of November.
I was inspired by this photo of my eldest son taken this summer in front of a beautiful house,
with a beautiful door.
I love to admire works of art people have on their front doors.

"love this memory"

The 2Crafty Chipboard used:

- Mini Tittle Stick 5 Set
- Thin Rectangle Stacked Frames
- Ginny's Flourish Set
- Geometric Arrows
- 12 x 12 Clock Face Frames
- Stars Pack

On this page I privileged the chipboards even more.
Not sure what colors I was going to use, I applied a layer of transparent gesso.
I ended up opting for colors in shades of brown, beige and black.

To fill the gap, I incorporate an arrow "Geometric Arrow".

I started with the center of my layout, choosing this large frame "Thin Rectangle Stacked" that I embellish with a wax "Bronze Age" and "Firebird".
I added some embellishments papers under my photo.
I add a piece of the chipboard "Clock Face" that I had left.
It is only at the end that I decide to add these chipboards "Ginny’s Flourish" to fill a void and recall the decorations of the door, they are covered with a layer of embossing powder of black color.

To embellish the stars and the clock I use a metallic wax color "White Gold"
and some touches of "Bronze Age".
I choose this mini-title that seems very good to me, I proceed in the same way to color it.

I place a star on the right side of the clock to make it look like a shooting star.
(It's a coincidence, not intentional).

I loved making this layout by superimposing these beautiful chibpoards.

Thank you for your loyalty!

'Todays Moments'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
It's Lisa back today to share some inspiration with you.
I have been working some more on my album.

2Crafty Products used:

This time I have worked on the inside cover and the first single page,
filling in the gaps :)

For the inside cover,
I have used some of the 'Scrabble Tiles',
left raw to go with my vintage feel.

I have also used one of the 'Light Bulbs'.

I have also used one of the 'Mini Family Icons',
layered with elements from my papers.

For this page, I have used some of the 'Fencing Wire Panel',
that I have cut up and added into my layers.

I have also used some of the 'Steampunk Gears Small',
in among my layers and paper elements.

Lastly, I have used one of the '6 x 4 Phrase Stick Set 5',
which I have cut in half and adhered to the bottom of my page.
I have then finished with one of the 'Geometric Arrows'

I hope that you like how my album is coming along.
I'm on a roll with it now!

Until next time!

'2019 Moment'
By Rachael Funnell

Hello 2 Crafty Fans!!!

Rach with you today sharing this masculine page
featuring my boy with his grandfather, along with some
FABULOUS 2 Crafty chipboard pieces....

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Clock Face discs
Moment (title)
2019
Geometric arrows

The Clock faces are popular even with the 2 Crafty DT
and a great addition to any project...I kept it simple but effective
with inking with black and adding them throughout my paper layers...

I did the same to the Geometric arrows,
inking them black, cutting one of  the arrows in half
before adhering to my page....

The 2019... Which I'm pretty sure by now you are aware
that these are one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE 2 Crafty Chipboard,
As I do tend to add the year to most of my layouts...

Finalizing my layout with inking the 2019 & Moment
with Tim Holtz (Peacock feathers) teal &
(Chipped Sapphire) Blue...

Thanks for stopping by...
I hope I have inpspired you in some way today..

Until next time!!

Remember the past by Elena Martynova

Hi dear friends!

It's Elena Martynova here today and I'm so excited
to share my new layout.

Less than two weeks left before the onset of winter.
I look forward to preparing for the Christmas holidays
and this mood seeps even into the works :)))

Although the background of the layout is quite monochrome,
I supplemented it with bright red colors reminiscent of the upcoming holidays.

The photo always becomes the main element on the layout.
To decorate it I used a gorgeous chip Poppy's Ornate Frame .

I usually paint the chip first and then continue to decorate
with embossing powders, glitter and pastes.
But this time I covered it with a transparent medium and applied bronze powder.
It is not laid evenly and here and there looks through
the gray color of the raw chip. That's the effect I wanted.

How I love those fishnet Aztec Feathers!
I decorated them with Golden powder to emphasize their splendor!

To create dynamics on the layout I added Geometric Arrows on opposite corners.
Also, my idea is promoted by a sheet of black paper, with the edges cut diagonally.

I used paper from the collections by 49&Market.
The black sheet was covered with a transparent medium,
with the help of 7 DOTs Studio stamp and Lindy's embossing powder
I added textures and then painted  red spray.

Thank you for visiting, have a lovely crafty day!

Stay Curious - Altered Canvas
By Karan Gerber

HI Friends welcome to the 2 Crafty Chipboard Blog today.
It is Karan Gerber here hosting the blog and I have na altered canvas to share with you.

I was rummaging through some old kits this week and came across some older
Graphic 45 Curiosity Shoppe papers and stickers (remember that collection) I
thought it would be perfect for a project, so here is what i have for you today.

"Stay Curious"

I just love using clocks, and cannot get enough of them. Our lives are run by a clock,
our work day, our appointments; when we sleep and when we rise, when we eat; all
determined by the those little hands on the clocks! that is why I love using clocks!

I wanted to use the geometric arrows as a clock hand but the glass bottles were
already glued on so I turned them on their end and love that.

Some detail images......

 Until Next Time: Happy Scrapping!
