My First Inspiration To Share With You "Forever" by Jenny J

Hello everybody!

I'm really glad to be here and show you my very first layout 

with 2Crafty chipboards.

"Forever"

You can see below all the 2Crafty chippies that I've used on this layout.

*flourish adornment set 4

*forever loopy font

*flower doilies 3

*mini branches

*6"clock face frames

I kept my background quite simple as I only added a little 

bit of texture with snowflake paste and a stencil.

After that, I've built my focal point by layering my photo on cardboard and
 some pieces of paper and, obviously, chippies !!

The main one is the " 6inch clock face frames", treated with embossing powder. 

 In fact, I used 2 clock chippies. 

 I also cut the middle sized one in half and displayed them on my layout.

You can see above and below the "flourish adornment set 4" 

under flowers and that piece is also embossed with powder.

Above, you can see one piece of "mini branches": I fell in love with them, 

they are so cuuuuute! Those were sprayed with Lindy's sprays.

Below, the "flower doilies 3" is covered with white embossing powder.  

This piece is really delicate and it gives a pretty nice touch to my layout.

I choose a title that goes with the feeling of my photo.

"Forever loopy font" goes very well with this engagement ring picture 😉

November Inspirations By Jaya Raghuvanshi

Hello friends! Jaya here today to share with you all my November inspiration layouts using  the gorgeous 2Crafty chippies..Hope you like them. Here is my first page- 'FOREVER'

A few close ups-

The titles from 2Crafty in this Loopy font are my favourite.  Especially because they go so perfectly with any kind of page. I inked the title 'Forever' and heat  embossed with white embossing powder.  I did not go for thick embossing. Then I rubbed and buffed some purple paint on  it to bring out the details and imperfections. I love this transformed chippie so much!  

 The 'Moroccan panel' chippies were cut and painted with silks. This gave
them a beautiful colour and shimmer. As I wanted a little darker shade of the
 paint I went ahead and covered the chippies directly with paint.

 If you want to achieve a lighter look, then firstly coat your chippies
with gesso  and then paint onto them when dry.

'LIVE OUT LOUD'

My second creation is this masculine layout. No flowers.  Only some chipboard pieces and metal embellishments :)  Grungy pages can be such a task to accomplish but with the  gorgeous 2Crafty chippies, its a cake-walk.  

The chippies have been painted using gesso and then stamped with 

script stamp and archival ink. This gave them grunge look I was aiming for.

The 'arrows' come in a sheet and there are around 30 designs to choose from in

 the set! I love to make masculine pages with arrows and gears. 

The 'Messy square frame' is just perfect to frame masculine pictures. 

I did the same to this as well. covered it with gesso and stamped with 

archival ink to match with the look of the page. Isn't this looking perfect?

 I so love it!

  Love these gorgeous chippies! The 2Crafty chipboard swirls are the best.  They can immediately transform and average looking page to a gorgeous one.   The chippies used here are- Line words- Goodtimes Borders Mini flourish bits Foliage set 1 ATC Tiny hearts and stars

AN INVINCIBLE LITTLE SPROUT By Guest Designer Emma Stafrace

Wow...where did these past few months go? I cannot believe this will be my last post  as one of the  Guest Designers here at 2 Crafty, its gone way too quickly but thats  what happens when your'e having fun! Its been a nice change to pull out my scrappy stash. Most of you would know  I tend to do digital scrapbooking more these days, but having this chance  to play with the fabulous 2 Crafty Chipboards has reignited the flame  and got me motivated to get messy again and tinker more in a traditional way  so a big thanks to Vanessa for this wonderful opportunity to hang with you  and your fabulous team and of course the 2 Crafty blog readers, I have had a ball. So onto sharing my first page with you all.  I did this one of my godson, Kellan.  Its a little page dedicated to how he is growing taller and taller every time I see him...  it blows me away. I decided after going through my stash of chipboard the  Summer Leaf Stems would be a perfect fit for this theme.

I also used the Chicken Wire Panel two ways to help create some depth and
texture in the background.

Tip: Try loading the chipboard with some paint or Versa Magic Ink
 and whilst its still wet flip it over and stamp directly onto your
 base paper just like you would a stamp, its a fun way to multi task your 
stash and creates a cool effect too. 

...and a close up so you can see what I mean.

I thought I'd share the digi version below which was created using lots of Captivated Visions goodies.

Firstly, I probably should just explain what Hybrid scrapbooking is. I have
received a few emails recently where people have asked what hybrid
is exactly so here goes... Hybrid is not just printing and making boxes or
OTP projects of which was the initial concept. Now there is a growing trend
 of scrappers that print papers and elements from their digital scrapbook stash to
create a scrapbook page in a traditional format.

Its a great way to extend the use of your digital kits and affords the scrapper
the luxury to design their own papers and elements to help support the theme
 of their scrapbook page. Its also easy peasy he he and is what I did to create
these two pages using and highlighting 2 Crafty goodies.


Anyways here is my second share, which again features Master Kellan when he was 3.

Inspiration From Guest Designer Kim Price

Today I am dropping in to share a layout I created featuring some of my favourite

 2Crafty chipboard pieces. I absolutely adore the gorgeous flourish designs, and on this

 layout I've used one of the pieces from Flourish Adornment Set 4. I've simply added a

 shabby white look with Picket Fence Distress Paint and tucked it between a couple of my layers.

 You can see a closer look in the photograph below.

 

I'm also absolutely loving the large cog pieces from the Giant Gears set - they make such

 an impact on a page. Here I have used two cogs and again I've coloured these

with Picket Fence Distress Paint for that shabby vintage look. Using round elements

on a layout instantly soften the look of a layout and here the cogs do this perfectly.

 

 

And lastly I've added my title "Forever" from the Forever Loopy Font pack, the finishing touch. This time I wanted to add just a little colour so I've used Weathered Wood Distress Paint, allowing the title to overlap my photograph.
