March Share with Anita Rodway

This month's share from me is a joint reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard &
A few of the 2Crafty DT are guest DT for this month's mood board over at SATW.
Here is the mood board inspiration created by Terhi Koskinen from Finland.

There are wonderful prizes up for grabs as usual!!

You can view all the details for their current challenge *HERE*.

Here is my take on the challenge...

'All Because Two People Fell In Love'

I loved this mood board as soon as I saw it & knew exactly what I wanted to do.
I started with lots of different textures (old book paper, gesso, washi tape, joint tape)
& began adding layers of colour over, using Gelatos, acrylic paint & inks.

I then I added some paper strips, black threads & 2Crafty chipboard
to create my layers before putting on my photo.
I've left the 'Circular panel' raw, as there is alot going on in the background.

With the 'Loppy Love' chippy, I painted it with a few layers of gesso
& then used black archival ink & a stamp to add detail to it.

Same again with the 'Chevron Bits', I left in it's raw state too.

Circular Panel

Loopy 'Love'

Chevron Bits

Thanks for popping by & don't forget to have a go at this month's challenge
at SATW & be in the running for some fantastic prizes!!
There's even some delicious 2Crafty Chipboard up for grabs ;)

February Share with Anita Rodway

 Hi 2Crafty fans!
I'm back to share another layout I recently created.
I love to create my own backgrounds & get messy!
I love to add layer, upon layer, upon layer...

 'Love This View'

2Crafty Products used on this layout:

Fiddlesticks Panel

Line Words - Happiness

 12x12 Alphabet - Dainty

Here's some close ups of my layout...

I've cut the edge border off the 'Fiddlesticks' panel & snipped out a few
other bits to break it up a bit more. I've left this one raw & used my
sewing machine to attach it to my layout.

I trimmed the line word 'love' up to make the ends shorter,
gave it a couple of coats with gesso & then used a fine black pen
to doodle in some detail. I also used a black pen to colour the word 'view'
in. I grabbed two of the off-cuts from the fiddlestick panel & stapled to
either side of my layout, to draw your eyes into the middle focal.

Thanks for popping by :)

Happy New Year Share From Anita!!!

Let me be the first to say 'HAPPY NEW YEAR'!!!!
I cannot believe how fast last year went. My little man just turned 3 & #.2
is only weeks away from arriving (arrggg scary LOL).
This layout sort of represents last year in a way. I have met soooo
many wonderful people thru this hobby & I'm lucky enough to have made lots
of new friends.

I have SO many selfie shots just like this from retreats, I thought it was time I scrap
some of them. Of course I have used some AWESOME 2Crafty chippy!! :)

 'You & Me'

 Here are some close ups...

The Hessian Patch, I've used a variety of acrylic paints & sprays to colour it.

The title 'You & Me', I completely covered in a few coats of gesso
& then used a black posca pen to colour in,as well as the the ampersand.
Once that dried, I used a white Uniball pen to add some faux stitching
to add extra detail. I then grabbed some glossy accents & covered the
two words.

The mini camera was done the same way. I have left the
bits of the circular panel 'raw' & tucked in behind the other layers.

I love how much texture this layout has!!

Here are the chippy pieces I used to create this layout:

I hope I've inspired you to pull out some 2Crafty chippy & get messy!!

November Share with Anita Rodway

Hi fellow scrapbookers...
I'm back to share a layout I did recently using some AWESOME
2Crafty chippy!!

This title definitely hits home at the moment - 'Happiness Starts With You'...

Here are the chippy pieces I used to create this layout:

Line Words - Happiness

Square Collage Panel

I began by cutting the square collage panel up into a few
different pieces first & then glued them onto my layout.
I then put a messy coat of gesso over the top, before I began colouring
my background with paint splats - so much fun!!!

Once my paint splats had dried, I put torn pieces of washi tape
over my chipboard. I then ran my layout thru my sewing machine -
YES you can sew over your chipboard!!! P.S. just go slowly though ;)

I kept the 'Happiness' line word raw, as I wanted it to still be
different & stand out from the bright colours of the background.

I hope I've inspired you to pull out some 2Crafty chippy & get messy!!

October Share With Anita Rodway

Hey there scrappy peeps!!! I'm back this month
to share the layout I have done using some fantastic
2Crafty Chipboard.

'Happy To Break Free'

This layout was a bit different to my usual style (at the moment),
whereby I actually used ONLY patterned paper - instead of white
cardstock LOL. I love how the chipboard pieces easily layer & create
different focal points.

2Crafty products used are:
Doily Border
Happy - loopy font
Scrabble Tiles

ATC Hearts & Stars

Here's some close ups :)

I painted the 'happy' title with gesso & then used a
posca pen to doodle over the top.

With the scrabble tiles, I have left them bare except for the actual letter.
Which I have coloured in with a white posca pen.

With the doily border, I cut it in half & painted it with acrylic paint.
Once that was dried, I added dot details with a white posca pen.
I painted the small heart in the same colour & glued in the middle
of the camera image.

Thanks for popping by & taking a look :)
