"Love"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Today I’m sharing a new layout created in a soft and romantic atmosphere, perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day!
The photos featured are of my son and daughter-in-law, taken almost two years ago. I chose these images for their softness and emotion, perfectly matching the Valentine’s theme and celebration of love.

"Love"

The chipboard used:

For this project, I wanted to highlight the chipboards by giving them an elegant and subtle finish without too much shine. I first applied a thin coat of white gesso to all the chipboards to unify the surface and soften the texture. The “Love Flourish” piece was enhanced with metallic wax in Old Silver, applied lightly with my finger over the raised areas to create a luminous, textured yet refined effect.

The “Mini Lattice Bits” and the phrase from the “6x4 Phrase Stick Set 4” help structure the composition and reinforce the romantic message of the page.

The “Sharon’s Butterflies” were enhanced with a very delicate application of White Gold, applied only on the raised areas. This subtle touch allows them to softly catch the light without creating excessive shine, preserving the gentle feel of the layout.

The foliage from “Foliage Set 10” was initially colored with Lucky Emerald, adding a subtle natural touch to the composition. To soften the intensity of the green and maintain a delicate harmony throughout the layout, I layered a light touch of Old Silver over the raised details. This technique tones down the green while adding a refined finish.

For the papers, I selected soft neutral tones blending off-white, gentle greys, and touches of sage green. The floral patterns and slightly distressed textures enhance the timeless and elegant atmosphere.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

'Beautiful Day' >br> with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some scrappy inspiration with you.
I have created a layout featuring my daughter.

2Crafty products used:

 'Foliage Set 10'
'Foliage Set 15'
'Field Mushrooms'

For this layout, I used one of the 'Foliage Set 10' pieces,
which I finished in an olive green,
and added to my berry cluster at the corner of my photo.

I also used the 'Field Mushrooms',
which I left mostly raw but highlighted the spots
and stems to match my papers.
I also finished the grass in the olive green.
I love the natural woodland feel to this.

I also used one of the 'Foliage Set 15',
which I also finished the stems in olive green,
 and the berries in red.

I really love this layout, I like the nature-inspired feel to this one,
and how well these chipboard pieces suit my papers.

I hope that you like it too!
Until next time,

Lisa

 Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share some bright
summery scrappy inspiration with you on this winter's day.

2Crafty products used:

 'Just You' title
'Pretty Dandelions'
'Foliage Set 10'
'Shrub Set 1'

For this layout, I used one of the 'Pretty Dandelions'
which I have embossed white and
then added a clear rainbow sparkle to the ends.

I also used one of the 'Shrub Set 1',
that I have embossed in buttercream yellow,
and layered with the dandelion piece.

I also used a couple of pieces from 'Foliage set 10'
that I have embossed in the same yellow.

To finish, I have embossed the 'Just You' title,
in the buttercream yellow, and adhered to my page.

A bit of bright sunshiney goodness on a cold day.
I hope that you like what I have created,
and that it brought some warmth into your day.

"Amazing Day"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

My first inspiration for this month of October is a layout with several photos.

In France, autumn has started well. This time of year is really nice,
especially with these colors: orange, yellow and green.

Amazing Day

The chipboard used:

- Amazing Day Title
- Mini Title Stick 5
- Field Mushrooms
- Foliage Set 10

To embellish my layout I chose these beautiful mushrooms that go so well for an autumn arrangement.
After applying a layer of transparent gesso, I use "Distress Oxide" inks with a water tank brush.
Once painted, they are so cute!
To get more relief, I added some foliage and painted it in the color 'peeled paint'.

The title "Amazing Day" is matched by two colors: "brushed corduroy" and "vintage photo".
I had the idea to include a short sentence.

I reproduce the process on the right side by adding a tree trunk.

I hope you will appreciate this arrangement.

If unfortunately your favorite store does not carry these particle boards, you can find them direct at https://2crafty.com.au/

Thank you very much!

"Love my Mum"
Layout and tutorial by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I present to you me first layout of this month of September.
A botanical atmosphere with this adorable photo of my grandson with his mum.
To embellish this beautiful moment, I chose this superb chipboard "Rosa Frame".

"Love my Mum"

I made a video tutorials that you can watch HERE

The chipboard used:

- Love my Mum
- Rosa Frame
- Foliage Set 10

This chipboard "Rosa Frame" is really elegant, perfect for framing your beautiful photos!
These dimensions are 10 cm X 14.5 cm.
The perfect size to highlight your photo.

My background is very colorful, I chose a neutral color to embellish the chipboards.
A 'Vintage Silk' wax that I then adjusted.

This title "Love my Mum" inspired me to choose my photo.
It is superimposed in an impeccable way and adds a lot of charm to the decor.
I raised the beginning of 'Love' and 'Mum' to balance it well.
I preferred the arrangement with the flower at the bottom for my title layout, but it suits your convenience.

To give more volume to my bouquet, I add this foliage that blend perfectly into the decor of my layout.

Watching the video is a good way to get more details.

It’s always a pleasure to meet you here!

'Treasure Every Minute'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share some autumn vibes with you.
I have created a layout of my gorgeous girl :)

'Treasure Every Minute'

2Crafty Chipboard:

For this layout, I used some of my all time favourites from the
'Photo Adornment Flourish Set 4'
that I have coloured with watercolour paints to coordinate with my papers and photo.
I really like the effect of the watercolours.

I then also used one of the foliage pieces from the 'Foliage Set 10',
for which I also used watercolours to coordinate with my page.

I have used one of the '6 x 6 Clock Face Frames',
again coloured with watercolour paints and tucked under my photo.

Another of the flourishes, tucked under my layers and floral cluster.

I love the watercolour effect of the chipboard along with the warm autumn vibes.
I hope that you like it too!

Until next time!

Lisa

'Dreamer of Dreams' by Emma Zappone

Hello all you glorious 2Crafty friends!
Emma with you today and I have a 10x10" layout to share.
I have been loving the monochromatic feels lately when I create and so this page is full of pink shades.

I have used all sorts of chippy for this one, 5 different pieces are featured.....

ATC Scissors
Foliage set 9
Foliage set 10
Mini Checkerboard pieces
Irish Knot border

I have tucked and layered these pieces with my paper and flower elements.

I started with the Irish Knot border as I wanted something delicate but would go with a small amount of grunge.
I painted this with a pink acrylic and then applied pink emboss powder to give it a simple shine.

Both the Foliage pieces were painted first with acrylic, keeping it simple by painting it either white or pink and then applying the emboss powder over the top.
With the Foliage set 9 pieces I added a 2 tone effect with a chunky white emboss and the pink emboss.

The mini Checkerboard pieces were covered with a thick white chunky white emboss powder. I wanted these to be really white to stand out amongst all the pink layers and give more textural dimension.

This same white emboss was added to the pair of scissors, that I place delicately on top of the flower as one of the main focal features.

I hope this page inspires you a little today and I look forward to catching you all again in the new month.

Till then, Stay Crafty, Em xx
