"DREAM in colour"
Layout and video by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Today I’m happy to share my second layout for the month of May an adorable photo of my granddaughter enjoying a painting session.

"DREAM in colour"

I also created a process video where you can see all the different steps used to create this layout.

The chipboard used:

The “Oversized Flower Stem Set 1” elements add so much movement and really help structure the entire layout.

I started by applying a coat of white gesso to the chipboard pieces in order to prepare the surface before adding colour. For the “Oversized Flower Stem Set 1” chipboard, I chose the beautiful “Frosty” colour.

I really enjoy working with a water brush because it allows me to create softer blends and more natural colour variations.

For the “DREAM in colour” title, I originally started with the colour “Just Peachy”, but as the layout evolved, I finally decided to switch to black in order to make the title stand out more and better balance the overall page. For the “Loopy Heart Swirl” chipboard, I used the colour “Twilight” to bring more depth and contrast to the composition.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, and I hope this layout inspires you in your future creations.

"DREAM in colour"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I am always delighted to present you a new creation and to have the chance to work
with my favorite chipboards.
For my first inspiration this April I will start with a layout that is both clear and colorful.
I use a photo of my granddaughter who is completely absorbed in her dreams.

"DREAM in colour"

The chipboards used:

- "DREAM in colour" Title
- Fine Flower Photo Adornment Set 1
- 6" Mandala N°1
- 4" Mandala N°1

Wouldn’t it be better to start by applying a layer of white gesso on each chipboard? (lol)

For this layout, I set up two opposite clusters using the chipboards "Fine Flower Photo Adorment".
I am so excited to use these for the first time.
They are exquisite!

I use embossing powder from Lindy's Gang in the "Desert Moon Turquoise" color for this one.

In the same way for this one using the color "Poppin'Pink".

Then, I add chipboards "mandala" that I find in perfect harmony with the choice of my paper from a collection called "kaleidoscope".

My title is covered with coral ink in the same range, then I add some white gesso stains.

I hope I inspired you to use these beautiful chipboards!

Thank you very much, hope to see you again.

' Dream In Color'
layout by Rachael Funnell

Hello 2 Crafty fans!
Rach with you today sharing another bit of
 2 Crafty Chipboard inspiration...

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
2018
Fine flower adornment set 1
Indian feathers
Dream in Color

This layout came together quite quickly really, which I love..
I did a simple but effective treatment to the chipboard
and gave all of the pieces 2 coats of gesso...

The Indian Feathers & the 2018
amongst the strong bright colors
looks gorgeous don't you think....

The title Dream in Color & Fine Flower Adornment from set 1 in white
against the B&W photo and the pops of color, I think works so well together...
That's it from me, thanks for stopping by & Until next time
xx

DREAM in colour
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Here is my first inspiration for this month of April, a layout in the colors of spring.
I love this season so much.

With a random photo of my granddaughter.

"DREAM in colour"

The 2Crafty Chipboard used:

- DREAM in Colour
- 11" Circular Leafy Frame
- Flowering Clusters

I chose the "Circular Leafy Frame" chipboard with leaves and arabesque it is so beautiful.
It can be positioned differently to fit your layout.

After passing a layer of white gesso I applied an acrylic paint "Stormy Ocean" I was inspired by the color of the knot in my granddaughter’s hair.

I also added shine with some touches of hot embossed powders in "Topaz Glitter" color.

As the chipboard I chose generous embellishments in size, in the bouquet I added the chipboard "Flowering Clusters" it is airy and harmonizes perfectly.

On the title I mixed colors and materials to give it a polychrome effect.

Some embellishments and flowers on the leaves of the chipboard.
Very little not to bury the beauty of this chipboard.

I hope you like this layout very simple to make.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope to see you again very soon...
