'Pure Happiness' with Lisa Amiet

 

Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today, and I thought 
I would share some spring inspiration with you to warm your day!

 "Pure Happiness"

2Crafty products used:

 

 'Filmstrips Tiny'
'Frame Doilies'
'Loopy Heart Swirls'
'Pure Happiness Title'
'Clock Face Discs'

 For this layout, I used one of the 'Frame Doilies', 

which I have layered onto a doily element from my papers. 

I then added one of the 'Clock Face Discs' into the centre of this. 

 

 

I then used one of the 'Filmstrips Tiny', next to my photo, and

I also used the 'Pure Happiness title', adhered under my photo.

 

I have left all of my chipboard raw
 as I really love the little wooden hut from my papers 
and the contrast of the chipboard tied in with this nicely.  

 

 

 

I also used one of the 'Loopy Heart Swirl',

under the hut and my photo. I love this piece! 

 

 

I love the pop of yellow along with the raw chipboard feel to this page.

This Masculine boys page, featuring some FAB 2 Crafty Chipboard

Loopy heart swirl

Let's start with the Steampunk chain rectangle frame

 Inking this frame using Tim Holtz - Salvaged patina..

I decide to lightly randomly ink the chain part of this frame 

 it gives it like that rusty kinda look without the effort...

I'm pretty happy with how this has turned out...

Next up is this Loopy heart swirl

 where I have simply given this a nice thick coat of gesso

and have it sitting at the bottom right side of the steampunk frame..

Next up my title Enjoy every moment 

simply inking this with a mid tone blue...

Lastly and ofcourse I added the yr 2014

given it a thick coat of gesso..

After prepping my paper then applying a stencil and colorants I also prepped my chipboard pieces

I used the scorched timber distress pad and the uncharted mariner distress pad.

I absolutely adore this flourish set!

I added the heart clump on top of the flower cluster!

For the title piece I wanted it to stand out a little more so I used clear embossing powder over the distress ink!

"DREAM in colour" Layout and video by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Today I’m happy to share my second layout for the month of May an adorable photo of my granddaughter enjoying a painting session.

"DREAM in colour"

I also created a process video where you can see all the different steps used to create this layout.

The chipboard used:

Dream in colour Title

The “Oversized Flower Stem Set 1” elements add so much movement and really help structure the entire layout.

I started by applying a coat of white gesso to the chipboard pieces in order to prepare the surface before adding colour. For the “Oversized Flower Stem Set 1” chipboard, I chose the beautiful “Frosty” colour. 

I really enjoy working with a water brush because it allows me to create softer blends and more natural colour variations. 

For the “DREAM in colour” title, I originally started with the colour “Just Peachy”, but as the layout evolved, I finally decided to switch to black in order to make the title stand out more and better balance the overall page. For the “Loopy Heart Swirl” chipboard, I used the colour “Twilight” to bring more depth and contrast to the composition.

"#JOY" Layout and tutorial by Marie Sabatier

I hope you are all well!

This month of May inspired me to create a floral and colorful spring layout. 

The winter has been long. Welcome to spring.

The chipboard used:

To begin, I apply a layer of white gesso.

I used Distress Oxide inks to enhance each chipboard.

I used a "peeled paint" for the "window-shutter-set 1" chipboard. I mixed it with water to obtain a very light shade.

Next, I use the "ironworks-gate" chipboard. I cut it and only use the top half. I keep the other half to use another time. I start with "mustard seed" ​​ink, then add "picked raspberry" and "peeled paint" for a mixed media effect.

I really like this "fine-flower-photo-adornment-set-1" chipboard template.

I'm placing it under my photo.

Then I add 2022 and 2023. This photo was taken on the first day of the 2022-2023 school year.

They are colored with "picked raspberry" ink like #JOY.

And, this beautiful "loopy-heart-swirl", I think it goes well with the flower.

To add more volume to my cluster, I add "leafy silhouettes".

Watching the video is a good way to get more detail.

"Perfectly IMPERFECT" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all right!

In France, the weather is completely chaotic, and on this first May, 

it is raining constantly and it is still cold.

Fortunately, scrap can brighten our day. 

My inspiration is a romantic Shabby Chic layout.

"Perfeclty IMPERFECT"

The chipboard used:

- Perfectly IMPERFECT Title

- Frame Oval Ornate

- Foliage Set 11

- Loopy Heart Swirl 

        

Exceptionally I did not use a photo of my grandchildren. 

I realize this page to offer on the occasion of Mother’s Day to the mother of this little girl that I keep.

I apply a layer of white gesso on each chipboard. 

To frame my photo, I use one of my favorite chipboards: "Frame Oval Ornate". 

To embellish it I add a thin layer of wax "Old White".

This new "foliage" is really beautiful. It adds a very precious touch to my two flower clusters.

It is covered with wax "Lucky Emerald" and "Heather Hills".

I add a beautiful title that perfectly matches this photo, as well as this "Loopy Heart Swirl" 

which brings a nice finishing touch to my layout.

I choose the wax "Sweet Rose" for the title and "White Gold" for the heart.

I hope you enjoyed my chipboard selection and that it gave you some ideas.

'Together' with Lisa Amiet

 

Hello again all!
It's Lisa here today to share some scrappy goodness with you!

'Together'

Crafty products used:

For this layout, I used one of the 'Aged Film Strip Set',

that I have embossed in white and layered behind my photo. 

I then used multiple pieces of the 'Sequins Negative Bits',

that I also embossed white and tucked into my paper layers. 

I also used one of the 'Mini Flourish Bits', 

tucked into my layers, 

which I also embossed in white.

To finish, I used one of the 'Loopy Heart Swirls', 

embossed in white, adorning my photo.

This has turned out to be my new favourite layout, 

of my two precious girls :)
