'You are Awesome' with Lisa Amiet

 
Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share some scrappy inspiration with you.
I have created this layout featuring my son.

 

 

2Crafty products used:

 'Hanging Steampunk Lightbulb Set'

'Circle Maze Set'

'Steampunk Light Bulbs'

'Star Bubbles' 

 

 

 For this layout, I used one 
of the 'Star Bubbles',

that I inked black,
 and tucked under the corner of my photo.  

 

 

 I also used one of the 
'Hanging Steampunk Lightbulb Set',

again inked black, and adhered 
hanging from the top of my page.  

 

 

I then used one of the 'Circle Maze Set', inked black 
and with a star element glued to the middle.  

 

 

I then used one of the 'Steampunk Lightbulbs',

 inked black, and adhered above the maze piece. 

 

 

 

 I really love how the black makes the chipboard pop 
on the brick background paper.

 

I really love how this layout turned out.
I will be back soon with some more 2Crafty goodness to share.

'Epic' with Lisa Amiet

 

Hello all!
It's Lisa back on the blog today to share my latest creation with you,
a layout featuring my son.

'Epic'

2Crafty products used:

For this layout, I used one of the 'Thin Rectangle Stacked Frames', 

to frame my photo, 

that I have inked black for a matt finish.

I have also used one of the 'Circle Maze Set',

again inked black, and tucked into my elements. 

I also used one of the small springs from the 'Industrial Spring Set',

also inked black, and adhered in the corner of my page.

To finish I used one of the 'Bulldog Clip Set',

again inked in black, to hold my title. 

I am loving the pop of matt black on this layout, 

I hope that you also like it.

'Ticket To Ride' - by Emma Zappone

Hello everyone and welcome to my first post of 2024.
I can't believe we are in 2024!!! 

For my first share this year, I went with a more Masculine project.
 It has been created on an 8x10 canvas.

I have placed lots of layers behind the picture including some awesome NEW chipboard.

Here are the pieces I used....

Aged Film Strip Set
Circle Maze Set
Textured Tile Bits

The sizes of these pieces are just perfect.

For the Maze pieces I cut them in half and then painted them with a shimmer liquid acrylic.
They are the perfect size to tuck in amongst the paper layers.

The very very awesome Film strip is coated with an Umber ink, and it's the perfect colour to match the tones in the project.

I just love how the chipboard looks with built up clusters.

The Textured Tile Bits are painted with Black Gesso and then a Blue ink, it deepens the colour and omits a hue that compliments the photo. I then added a stamp for some interest with white ink.

I really had fun putting this project together, and I hope this inspires you to get creating too.

Please note: That all of these chipboard pieces I have inked using what I think is the best ink,

 the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks

Let's start with my title where I have used the word Moment  from the Fine word set 3

I have just simply inked with  TH - Faded Jeans, 

Now of course, like all of my layouts, I tend to add the month & date 

and why not when 2 Crafty has such great chipboard pieces to do this with...

The September from Monthly fine words inked with black & year 2022 inked with 

TH - Frayed Burlay

Next up and I feel is a feature to my layout are the newly released Circle Maze set

which I have inked them with TH - Ground espresso & boy don't they look great...

The Medium steampunk gears  I have used have been inked 

a bit of a light blue/teal color TH - Broken China...

And lastly are the super C.U.T.E hearts from the  ATC tiny hearts & stars pack

inking these beauties black...
