'Spring Vibes' with Lisa Amiet

 

Hello 2Crafty lovers!
It's Lisa here today to share some spring inspiration with you.

 

 

2Crafty products used:

 

 'Ironworks Gate'

'Photo Adornment Flourish Set 4'

'BeeYoutiful Set' 

 

 

For this layout I have used the 'Ironworks Gate',

which perfectly suited the brick 

archway element from my papers.

I have used a silver wax to finish it 

and to give it a metallic look.  

 

 

I have also used some of the honeycomb pieces
 and a bee from the 'BeeYoutiful Set',

which I have left raw for that natural spring vibes.  

 

 

To finish, I have used one of the 'Photo Adornment Flourish Set 4',

also left raw and adhered near the fence on my page.  

 

 

I really love the fresh spring feel to this layout, 

it is suiting the weather in sunny Qld at the moment. 
I hope that you like what I have created.

BeeYOUtiful by Tania Ridgwell

 Hello there! 

Tania joining you today to share the last of my DT projects for September. 
 I have created a layout for my second share.

"BeeYOUtiful"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*BeeYoutiful Set

*6 x 6 Circle Frame Set

*12 x 12 Weathered Clock Face Frames

I have used the gorgeous 49 & Market 'Botanical Buzz' Collection to create the base for my layout.  

I coloured all the chippie pieces from the BeeYoutiful Set with Golden Glow Opal Polish.  Once dry I randomly dabbed onto some gesso onto the BeeYOUtiful title.  I coloured the assorted circles and the Weathered Clock chippie with Heidi Swapp Chartreuse Color Shine.

I added a some distressed paper under my photo and then cut the Weathered Clock chippie in half and added a half under the top and bottom of the distressed paper.  I added lots of paper blooms around my photo and then tucked in the Honeycomb & Bee chippies amongst the flowers.  I added the assorted Circle chippies around the flowers and finished of my page by adding the BeeYOUtiful chippie title along the bottom left of my photo.

Spring Inspiration with Lisa Amiet

I have created this sunflower layout featuring my daughter. 

'Gorgeous'

2Crafty Products used:

For this layout, I used a few of the 'Leafy Silhouettes',

that I have embossed in white. 

I used two leaves 

in opposite corners of my page,

overlapping them slightly.

I have also snuck in one of the bees from the

'BeeYoutiful Set',

which I left raw. 

For my title I have used the word gorgeous from the

'Mini Word Set 3',

that I also embossed white. 

I am really happy with this bright and happy layout.

"BeeYOUtiful Journey" by Amy Voorthuis

  Good morning lovely 2Crafty friends, 

Today is my turn to show you some inspiration on this wonderful blog. For this occasion I made a layout and again I used some of my favorite colors like purple and green & chipboard pieces by 2Crafty Chipboard. I used a picture of our beautiful children and a colorful paper collection. Not  so long ago I discovered that 2Crafty Chipboard lends itselfs really good to sew on it and so I did here with the pretty Frame Maria's .

I treated all the chipboard pieces with white gesso and for the swirly pieces & the word journey. I made them green with some matte acrylic paint then I added some wax in a stained wood color. The word "BeeYOUtiful" was treated with three different acrylics in the color purple. 

I just love adding the fine word set words to other phrases or words that gives it more demension don't you think so too? The pretty Frame Maria's was treated with several layers of different colors of embossing powders {white & light purple} Then I machine stitched around the circle & the straight and ik that circle I added a phrase from the paper collection I used here.

'Poetry' - by Emma Zappone

Hello 2Crafty friends.
Em with you today on this fine Thursday.
The Layout I'm sharing today features mini and fine chipboard pieces, they may
be small but they are always amazing.

These are the pieces used amongst my layers....

BeeYOUtiful Set
Mini Embroidery Hoops set
6" Parisian Border mini

I love playing small. They add just a special part to my projects.

I used the Hexagon elements from the BeeYOUtiful set, cutting them up to get the most out of the pieces. These are simply painted with Black Gesso, I kept one raw as a slight contrast.

I used 2 of the Embroidery Hoops from the set, these were painted in Black Gesso and once dry I added a White Gold wax to compliment the antique tones in the paper layers.

The stunning Parisian Border had a similar finish as the hoops just with one extra wax to deepen the tones a little more. These were cut into 3 pieces and added as borders around the composition.

This image is one I found on Pinterest, one of many awesome images. Sadly I couldn't find the artist's name for this one, but it's amazing and so inspiring to me.

I love all these 'Mini' chipboard pieces together, delicate and pretty.

BeeYOUtiful Memories Layout by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share the second of my DT projects for February.
I have created a layout for my second share.

"BeeYOUtiful Memories". 

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*BeeYoutiful Set

*Fine Word Set 3

*ATC Tiny Arrows

*Frame Doodled

I used the beautiful Paper Rose Studio Bee Happy Paper Collection to create the base for for my layout.  Once I had created my background I set about putting my page together.

I painted the Chipboard Arrows and Doodled Frame Green Lemons Opal Polish.  I then added some Lemon Zest Dylusions Spray over the top.  Once dry I randomly dabbed on some Black Marble Dylusions Spray.  The BeeYOUtiful Chipboard Set was all first sprayed with Black Marble Dylusions Spray and then randomly sponged with the Green Lemons Opal Polish.  The Memories Chipboard was coloured with Black Marble Dylusions Spray also.

I added my photo to my page adding the Doodled Frame to the top left of the photo.  I then embellished around my photo with assorted flowers and tucked in pieces of the BeeYOUtiful and Arrows chipboard to the flowers and between paper layers.

I finished my page by adding the BeeYOUtiful and Memories chipboard to the bottom right of the photo.

"BeeYOUtiful" Layout and tutorial video by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I am delighted to present my first inspiration for this month of February. 

Here in France, we are in the middle of winter, the sun is rare and the cold is freezing!

I needed to create a sunny layout.

  For this bright colors and a photo of my granddaughter the sun of my life!

The 2Crafty chipboard used :

- BeeYOUtifull Set

- Minibycicles

I started by applying a layer of black gesso on the chipboards.

Then a bit of glossy varnish but I was not satisfied with the result 

so I finished with a wax "Old white" 

The impact of black on particle boards distinguishes them perfectly. 

The originality of the title is an excellent idea.
