Let's start with the 12x12 Stacked film strips I have my photo sitting on..
Cutting the Stacked film strips in half,
then inking ramdomly to give it a bit of a vintage look, using Tim Holzt - Vintage Photo ink...

Next is this Arrow from Aztec Arrows set 1 I have sitting on my photo...
Inknig this arrow with orange, light purple & teal, again using Tim Holtz - Oxide inks....

Next up part and of my mixed media background,  I have added a few of the Tiny Stars
from the ATC - Tiny Star & Hearts pk
Inking & gluing a few using the same Tim Holtz - Oxide inks that I used for the arrow...

Lastly for my title Let's Get Away, I have just simply inked black..

That's it from me...

'Cherish'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty Fans!
It's Lisa here today with some scrappy inspiration for you.
I created this layout, for a bit of summer feeling,
now that its getting cooler."

"Cherish"

2Crafty products used:

'Fine Word Set 1'
 'Foliage Set 6'
'Grid Panel'
'12 x 12 Stacked Filmstrips'

For this layout, I used the '12 x 12 Stacked Filmstrips'
as the base layer under my photo,
which I finished with aged white embossing.

I also used a few of the 'Foliage Set 6' pieces,
which I finished in a turquoise to match my papers & photo,
and tucked into my clusters.

I also used a piece one of the 'Grid Panels',
also finished in the same turquoise,
 and stacked under my photo.

I then used one of the words from the 'Fine Word Set 1',
which I embossed in the same aged white finish,
and layered over the grid panel piece.

I really like the beachy feel to this layout,
bringing a little warmth back.
I hope you like what I have created.

Until next time!

Lisa

Treasure Altered Wooden Frame by Tania Ridgwell

 Hi there!

Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for March.
 I have altered a wooden 12x12 Frame.

"Treasure"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*12 x 12 Stacked Filmstrips
*Fine Word Set 1
*2024's
*Mini Flourish Bits
*Photo Adornment - Adornments Set 6

I have used the gorgeous Mintay 'See You in Paris' Collection to create the base for my Frame.

I gave the 12x12 Stacked Filmstrips chippie a couple of coats of gesso and once dry I swiped some Kaiser Candy Iridescent Spray randomly over it.  I coloured the Mini Flourish Bits, 2024, Treasure Fine Word and Photo Adornment chippies with Frost White Shimmer Paint and once these were all dry I randomly dabbed on the Kaiser Candy Iridescent Spray to them.

I added some paper layers to the frame and then added the 12x12 Stacked Filmstrip chippie.  Next I put on my photo.  I added lots of Paper Blooms and some See You in Paris Embellishments.  I tucked in a Mini Flourish chippie to the Paper Blooms along the bottom of the photo.  I added a Photo Adornment chippie to the top and bottom of the Frame and some flowers.  I finished of my Frame by adding the Treasure and 2024 chippie Titles.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Altered Frame.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.
Tania xx

Too Cute for the naughty list
layout by Rachael Funnell

Hello everyone!!!
Rach back with you sharing another christmas layout
featuring the SUPER CUTE photo of my daughter,
back in the day when they were so eager to let me take photos LOL....

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
12x12 Stacked Film Strips
2020
Too Cute for the naughty list
ATC - Tiny hearts & Stars
2019
Angel Wings

Let's start with the date, Now if you wanted you could contact
2 Crafty Chipboard and Vanessa would happily create a sheet of what every date you are after,
 but I already had plenty of 2020 & 2019.

so I made my 2009 by cutting out the 2 from the 2020 and then cutting the 9 from 2019
and inking it with this lovely red..
Next are the gorgeous Angel Wings,  I have inked these set of wings with Tim Holtz - Speckled egg

Then I have sitting underneath my photo  12x12 Stacked Film Strips,
which I have cut in half and with a paint brush added some gesso.
I also added gesso too a few of the ATC - Tiny Stars...

Lastly for my ttile Too Cute for the naughty list, Simply inking this with the same red
used for the year 2009...

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU everyone for all your sweet supportive comments in 2024..
WISHING YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
& ALL THE VERY BEST IN 2025

"Seeing the World"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I am delighted to have the opportunity to present my third project for July.
I propose a layout on the theme of travel using this beautiful title "Seeing the WORLD".
I love this picture where my grandniece points her finger at the sky through the porthole.

"Seeing the WORLD"

The chipboard used:

- See the World Title
- 12 x 12 Stacked Filmstrips
- 12 x 12 Weathered Clock Face Frames

This is the first time I use this chipboard "Stacked Filmstrips".

In order to get a vintage effect, I prefer not to use white gesso and directly apply the ink
"Distress Oxide". I opted for the shades "rustic wilderness", "spiced marmalade" and "fade jeans".
For this presentation, I place it horizontally.
Its grandeur and originality make it a magnificent support.

Above I use the chipboard "Weathered Clock Face".
To contrast with the colors of the 'Filmstrip', I opt for the matte wax 'Rusty Brown' then I rub it with the metallic wax 'Firebird'. The shine and the small orange tip bring a touch of sparkle,
just like the butterfly of my paper.

To improve the clarity of my layout, I chose to embellish the title with clear ink.

I really enjoyed making this layout. I hope it will make you want to create.

Thank you for visiting 2Crafty!
