"Love"
Canvas Embroidery Hoop
with Amy Voorthuis

 Good morning lovely 2Crafty friends.
How wonderful of you all to stop by the 2Crafty blog.
For this post I made a canvas embroidery hoop with a picture of Jeroen and I during our
wedding back in 2012. We didn't have great weather on April the 20th but we still got
some nice pictures that I have scrapped during the years but this one I haven't as far as I remember.
Enjoy my post....

Love

Wonderful 2Crafty Chipboard used:
11" Celia Frame
Line Words Happiness
Fine Floral Corner Set
Foliage Set 6
Foliage Set 3
Groovy Flowers
Frame Fine Circle With Butterflies
2021's

All the chippies are treated with some white gesso for the fine floral corner set I added some white embossing powder and I cut that one up and added them around my picture and in my flower cluster. The line word love is also treated with some white embossing powder.

For the groovy flowers they are treated with some pink embossing powder and I place a metal screw head in the middle. For the rest of the chippies I just added some acrylic paint in different shades to match my canvas.

Hope you all enjoyed my post thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back with another project soon hope to see you back then....

'No Grit, No Pearl' by Emma Zappone

Happy weekend 2Crafty friends.
Emma with you for today's project share.

And these are the chipboard pieces I chose....

Flourish Adornment Set 5
11" Celia Frame
Lace Doily Frame

Striking chipboard to really compliment my picture and papers.

Let's talk about the finishes on the Flourish's first. Yet again I love a simple yet fun finish. I painted these with Black Gesso and once dried stamped emboss ink and added a cream emboss powder over the top. I chose a stamp with a small texture to really add some pattern to the chippy.

The Celia frame is just stunning and for this piece I painted it in an Impasto brown first. I added the paint with a sponge to create a slightly raised texture to the paint as it dried. Then I added some wax in white Gold. This over the brown acrylic really helped add a vintage/antique feel.

I really wanted to add a small amount of the lavender colour which comes through the cat in the image chosen for this layout. So I added a few layers of colour to the Lace Doily and chosen resin pieces.

The Doily pieces were painted black to start with and then I painted a lavender acrylic but wiped back a little also, as I didn't want it to be super purple. I then added a couple of waxes over the top including a lavender wax to help nurture the colour.

Thanks again for joining me today and I do hope my project has been a little inspiring.

I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Stay Crafty, Em xx

"dream"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone!

I am always happy to meet you to present my new inspiration.
A bright and flowery layout with this photo of one of our little females "Fouine"
who likes to be photographed.  She’s twelve years old.

"dream"

The chipboards used:

- Fine Word Set 3
- 11" Celia Frame
- Lacy Border Set
- Heart Clumps

To frame my photo I chose this beautiful chipboard "Celia Frame"
I like it is wide and elegant and gives a lot of importance to my photo.

I first applied a layer of "Peacock" metallic wax and over it a layer of "Lucky Emerald"
antique wax from the "Prima" brand.

To give volume to my frame I added layers of cardboard and for more detail I added this chipboard
"Lacy Border Set" it emphasizes the frame and gives style.

It takes a little patience but it is very nice to bring beauty to each chipboard.

I chose this title it is long, fine and highlights my photo.
I embellished the title with "Orange Creamside" color embossing powder.

To finish I added this chipboard "Heart Clumps" that I insert behind my photo and
through my bouquet, a bit of fantasy that gives a beautiful result.

I hope you enjoyed this layout and will have new ideas to create
with this beautiful range of chipboards.

See you soon!

"Angelic"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Already in July, time passes so quickly. Here is my first achievement.

I miss the pictures of my granddaughter when she was still a baby.
I chose this photo as it contained both purple and lilac.

"Angelic"

The 2Crafty Chipboards used:

- Mini Word Set 3
- 11 inch Celia Frame
- Scribble Flower Set
- Leafy Shrub Set

As always, I protect chipboards with a layer of white gesso.

After preparing my layout. I decided to embellish the "Celia Frame"
chipboard with "Midnight Violet" embossing powder.
To bring relief, I didn't hesitate to cut it out and superimpose it on the layers of paper.

On the frame I added this chipboard "Leafy Shrub" that I embellished with powder
to emboss "olive green" then I applied a hint of "turquoise" wax.

I chose this title which perfectly illustrates the meaning of my photo!

This is the first time I’ve ever used these "Scribble Flowers" chipboards, they go perfectly
with the drawings of my paper.

Here I left the wooden support then I added a paper embellishment and I glued the flower.
I liked to add several in my clusters of embellishments.

A new layout that ends, I hope I have given you some inspiration.

Thank you for your visit, and see you soon!
