Be Yourself by Tania Ridgwell

Tania joining you today to share the last of my DT projects for August. 
I have created another layout. 

"Be Yourself"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Frame Olivia

*Be Yourself

*Textured Tile Bits

* Mini Swirl 1

I have used the beautiful 49 & Market 'Kraft Garden' Collection to create the base for my layout.  

I coloured the Textured Tile Bits chippies using White Gold Wax.  I also used the White Gold Wax on my "Be Yourself" chippie title and once this was dry I randomly dabbed on some Kaisercraft Turquoise Mist.  The Olivia Frame and Swirl chippies were sprayed with Kaisercraft Turquoise Mist and once dry I randomly added some Frost White Shimmer Paint to them to tone down the colour slightly. 

 I added lots of paper layers under my photo and added it to the centre of my page.

Lots of paper blooms added to the top and bottom of my photo.  I cut the Olivia Frame chippie in half and tucked one half along the left of my photo and the other half along right of my photo.

I cut the Textured Tile Bits chippies into pieces and tucked them and the Swirl chippies in amongst the flowers.  I finished off my page by adding the Be Yourself title.

'Simple Moments' with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
I don't know about you but in all this Christmas craziness
I felt the need for some summer colour,
so I created this layout.

2Crafty products used:

I have used one of the 'Flourish Adornment Set 7',

which I have first embossed in white,

followed by a second coat of distressed green glaze, just on the ends,

for a two-tone effect. 

I have also used one of the 'Foliage Set 6',

which I have finished in a peach colour
 to coordinate with my papers and flower.

I have also used one of the 'Mini Swirls 1',

which I have also finished
in the white and distressed green glaze.

For my title, I have used the
'Simple Moments make Great Memories',

which I have finished in the distressed green glaze to match my layout colours. 

I hope that you like what I have created, 

a little pop of summer colour for you. 

I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas

and a happy New Year.

September Inspiration with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!

It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you.

For this layout I have created a multi layered combination of some gorgeous 

2Crafty Chipboard pieces mixed with lots of fussy cut elements.

Here is my layout...

"Adventure"

I have used a few different designs in this layout. 

I have finished my chipboard with white embossing powder.

I have used a couple of the 'Element Set 3', on either side of my photo, in among my layers.

I have also used a couple of the 'Mini Swirls 1', also tucked in among my layers.

Lastly I have used two of the 'Mini Travel Words Set 2'. 

I really love how great the chipboard looks in white, how well it goes with 

the lovely soft pastel colours of the paper collection and flowers.

 The travel words were perfect for this layout!

Hello 2Crafty People!

It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you all!

Today I have a layout that I have created as part of

This is what I have created...

"Be Awesome Today"

For this layout I have used some of my favourite 2Crafty pieces.

From the 'Mini Swirls 1' that is tucked in among my embellishments.

To the always gorgeous 'Flower Doilies',

 which I have used tucked in among my layers.

I have also used one of the stunning new 'Tangled Lamp Posts'.

All of my chipboard has been embossed in white.

Always Follow Your Dream ...By Stephanie Papin

 Today I am very thrilled  to share with you  my first  DT project for 

2 Crafty Chipboard.  I hope you will enjoy it !

  "Always Follow Your Dreams"

   There are so many beautiful chipboard pieces in the 2Crafty range.  My first challenge  was to choose which beautiful pieces I would choose for my first layout!
In fact, for this layout, I decided to work in the height of my page,  so I purposely chose a title that occupied a lot of space so that my chipboard would  play an important role in the layout.
I also wanted to stick a small arabesques on the other side of my layout,  it connects my set, and I placed them  so that all my embellishments   are placed in a diagonal line.  

  2Crafty chipboard products used... Leafy Shrub Set 2 (unit of 3)[m00494]   Mini Swirls 1 (units of 3)[atc037] Always Follow Your Dreams (unit of 3)

  On my title, I like to bring color so I moistened my chipboard with water in   some places with a brush. Before it was dry, I applied a little white liquid ink,  but only where I put the water. This way my white ink blends well,   and doesn't have sharp edges, but instead it all just blends beautifully.   I find it interesting to wet our chipboard with inks or paints as   some really beautiful results can be obtained.  

  I chose to cut out a part of my leaves, so that  I got a straight edge on  my chipboard to place along the side of my page .  

 

Above you will see I have used 2 of the ATC Swirls, to continue the leafy feel,

using them close to my flowers.

 

 

Here is a close up of how the water and paint blended.
