April Inspiration by Sabrina

Hello 2Crafty fans,

It is my turn to share my projects for April.
My first project puts my hubby and I in the spotlight.
Even after 18 years together, we're still in love.

"Love is in the Air"

For the title, "Love is in the Air", I used a gold embossing powder
which really makes the text stand out.

I applied a pink metallic embossing enamel on the "Ava's Frame"
that blends well with the background.

I first painted the "Climbing rose bush" with a black matte paint.
When dried, I applied a gold embossing ink.

I used a silver metallic paint on the "Fancy Damask", diluted with water.
Then, on top of the paint, I applied a pink embossing ink.

For this project, I used the following awesome chipboards:
Ava's Frame (FR0096)
Climbing Rose Bush (DB0100)
Fancy Damask (M00564)
Love is in the Air (W00418)

"Family Forever & Always"

The second project I want to show you today is quite special for me. I did the
"Family forever & always" layout as a gift for a close friend, hard-working
mom of three that just graduated from university.

On the "handdrawn feathers", I applied a red-gold embossing powder.

To give this nice rusty look to the "Hearth Clumps", I used a red ink,
then applied some gold-copper embossing ink on top.

Finally, on the title "Family forever & always", I applied a white-pink embossing enamel.

For this layout, I used the 2Crafty Chipboards:
Handrawn Feathers (M00588)
Heart Clumps (M00576)
Family Forever and always (W00125)
That's all for this month! I hope these inspire you to create as much
as I had fun doing them for you! See you next month!

October inspiration - By Lilibleu

Hello 2Crafty fans!!

This is Lilibleu with you here today to share my October inspiration.

Forever"

For this first project, I wanted to go on a trip in a fairy universe,
very feminine with a set of colors that I like very much.

I embossed the arrow word "Forever" with purple powder.
I like its smooth and shiny look after this embossing.

I love the "Frankie's Frames" chipboard, I find the design quite beautiful.
I embossed it with golden powder to give a precious aspect to my page.

To reinforce the impression of lightness, I slipped the "Handdrawn Feathers"
 - embossed with purple powder - on the side of my photo.

The word "amazing" is embossed in gold to make it stand out.

"Adore
Mixed media canvas

For my second project, I chose to make a canvas in a Halloween theme.
I liked the picture of this little girl found on Pinterest, it was this photo
that made me want to design my project on this theme.

All the chipboards on my canvas are treated differently.
The "Small Crazy Circle Panel" chipboard is first painted in metallic orange,
then I embossed some place on it with orange powder.
The "Autumn leaves" are painted green.

The "11 Floral Frame" chipboard is painted with black gesso.
The title "Adore" from "Fine Word Set 1" is embossed in orange.

October Inspiration + VIDEO Tutorial
By Kareen Dion

Hello everyone!

It's Kareen with you today and it's time to share some October inspiration!
Well, as summer ended here in Canada... I'm so not ready for Winter.
But I love fall, my favorite season!!

Anyways, today, I'm sharing with you, two layouts.
The first layout is one with my daughter. I took this picture this Summer.
She has such a bright and contagious smile.

I used the stunning Handdrawn Feathers, they are so gorgeous!!
I love them!! I also used the Grid Bits which I embossed in a teal color.
I think it enhances the layout. Finally I used the title Shine from the Fine Word Set 2.

"Shine"

The word Shine from the Fine Word Set 2 has been embossed in white.
I love how curly and feminine this looks.

For the Grid Bits, I also embossing them with a green/teal powder.
It matches perfectly the rest of my page.

And the Handdrawn Feathers!! Also so feminine, perfect for this layout.

For my second layout, I think I gave it a summer style without even thinking about it!
The picture is with the godmother of my daughter and with my son. I cherish her a lot,
she's more than family, but also a very close friend.

For this layout I used the Climbing Rose Bush, which I cut in pieces.
I wanted to do a cluster style around my picture. I add the Lattice Leaf Set
and I finally used the Hello Love chipboard as a title.

"Hello Love"

I put a layer of white gesso on the Climbing Rose Bush
and then I used white embossing powder.

For the Lattice Leaf Set, I begin with a layer of white paint,
then pink paint and finished with holographic embossing powder.

I did the same thing with the Hello Love title as the Lattice Leaf Set.

October Layouts + 2 VIDEOS
With Anita Bownds

Hi..
Anita here with you today sharing two layouts and two process videos.

"Dream "
With this layout I went for the colours blue, green and a dark grey.
Here is my process video of my layout.

I inked and embossed the flourish using two different colours.

I inked the circle dot frame and added green rhinestones.

I embossed the lovely little feather with stormy weather (dark grey).

Then I inked the chipboard word dream and backed it with patterned paper.

Here is a close up, you can see how sparkly those rhinestones pop on that frame.

"Just the Girls"
With this layout I started with some colours in mind but
I ended up having the darkness in the background and
the pops of colour in the foreground.

My idea was to blend the background with the dark and have a sublime
pink mixed in. I embossed the Rose Vine with colour blast storm weather
as I wanted them to stand out.

I embossed leafy shrub with colour blast Apple of my eye.

With my title I wanted it like a two tone colour so I embossed it with colour
blast leather and added a light pink tot the top and bottom.

With the butterflies I inked them with a light pink and added some rhinestone.
