"Autumn Delight" Mixed Media Canvas by Amy Voorthuis

 Hello creative friends,

Today it's my second time this month to bring you some inspiration. For this occasion I created a 12 by 9 inch canvas autumn inspired. I really love making a project inspired by a moodboard and such, I used the same picture as the first layout I created being on this amazing design team. It's one of our Abbey playing in the leaves

Autumn Delight

2Crafty Chipboards used:
Leafy Xmas Frame
Autumn Leaves
ATC Word Banner Set 1
Mini Title Stick Set 1
Mini Word Set 3
Fine Word Set - Months

I have used several techniques on my mixed media canvas & chipboard pieces. The words "Delight" & "November" I inked with a brown/cream ink pad and after that I aded one layer of just white embossing powder. The word stick & ATC banner I just left I only added some rusty brown wax around the edges.

On the Leafy Xmas Frame I used three different kind of sprays and when those were still wet I added two different embossing powders randomly not covering the whole piece then I used my heat tool. On the leaves I added some white gesso and also three sprays but just left them to dry naturally.

Thank you so much for your visit today and if you would like to see more of my work please visit here:

layout by Rachael Funnell

Hello everyone!
Rach with you today sharing my first project for this month..

This layout I created featuring my gorgeous daughter!

The fabulous 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

fancy border set 2
A Dream is a wish your heart makes title
Mixed Buttons
Artdeco heart
Autumn leaves

The super CUTE Buttons I've used have been
inked with a grey & then added pink cord to a couple
& grey cotton the others!

The rest of the chipboard pieces, I started with given them all a coat of gesso!
and leaving as is, the gorgeous delicate Artdeco heart...
And the fancy border I cut in half before adhering
1 half to the top & other to bottom of my page....

Once the gesso had dried on the Autumn leaves
I've inked the edges with a nice green
& I ever so lightly adding some green to the centres...

And lastly for the title...
Again once the gesso had dried I inked it
with a rose pink then dabbing off
some of the pink with a baby wipe!

Thanks for stopping by!
hopefully I have inspired you in some way...
and until next time!

'Hello beautiful' by Tammy Klingner

Hi there chippy fans,

Tam here today, I've popped in to share my latest layout titled:

"Hello beautiful Hahndorf"

For those who follow my work, you know I am all about COLOUR, and usually the brighter the better!  Today I wanted to challenge myself and add some softer tones.

I spent a recent weekend in the Adelaide Hills in a gorgeous town called Hahndorf.  It's quaint and authentic and we were lucky enough to visit as the leaves had begun to turn.

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

'Hello beautiful title'
'Autumn leaves'
'6" revolution frame'
'Amelia flower stems large'
'Amelia flower stems small'

I painted the 'Amelia flower stems large' and the 'Amelia flower stems small' with white gesso and then added white acrylic paint.

I wanted them to be really fresh and white.

I then added them in underneath the cluster of flowers.

To finish them off, I added a touch of doodling to them using a black gel pen.

I repeated this process for the '6" revolution frame' to get it a vivid white.

I didn't add any doodling to this, I just used it as a frame around the photos.

I also completed the above process on the 'Autumn Leaves', however to finish them off, I stamped with a script stamp over the top.

I absolutely love how this looks!
Soft and yet textured and interesting.

I added these leaves to the flower cluster and also placed them on the layout so they looked like they were falling.

I did this to emphasise the Autumn feel.

As this page is soft and contains pastel tones, I wanted my title to be soft and yet still be a focal point of the layout.

I coated it in white gesso and then added some watercolours to the words.

I love how the watercolours have dried with an ombre effect.

I also love that the different fonts are in different colours.

I love that about 2Crafty chippy titles.

There you have it.

I'll pop back again a bit later in the month with more inspiration.

Until then you can see my on my blog.

Lots of creative love
xxx

"This is Me' by Rachael Funnell

Hello 2 Crafty fans!
Rach with you sharing my second bit of  January inspiration,
this layout featuring ME and some GORGEOUS 2Crafty chipboard pieces....

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
6" Mandala 1
Autumn leaves
12" Boho floral arrow
This is Me (title)
Light bulb word set
Winter leaves

I've used some Mintay papers, next I added some stamping on my background.....
Then inspired by my layout from earlier in the month, I've used the Rose Gold beewax
paste again. Applying the paste by using my finger to apply to the 6" Mandala
& a few of the Autumn and Winter leaves

The rest of the chipboard pieces I started with by giving them coats of gesso...
The title This is Me has three coats, letting each coat dry before applying the next coat!!!

The 12" Boho floral arrow & Moment Light bulb have a single coat of gesso,
then finished of the Boho floral arrow by colouring in the flower with Peach & guava
gelatos AND the peach gelato around the edge of the bulb....

Thanks for stopping by & I'll be back next month with more...   x
