Hello everyone,

It's my turn on the blog and here is my layout for today.

2Crafty Chipboard Used.....

*Flourish adornment set 4

*A love story

*Mini Flourish bits

*View finder

First of all, as always, I've applied a coat of clear gesso on my background paper 

and then, heavy gesso through a stencil.

I've started my focal point with papers scraps and ephemeras.

Above, you will see my title word, "A love Story",

heat embossed in white.

All of three pieces from "Mini flourish bits" and "Flourish adornment set 4" 

are also heat embossed in white.  

You can see that in the following pictures.

The last chipboard here is a lovely "View finder" 

That piece is heat embossed also but with ivory powder.

Finally, I've aded flowers, art stones and homemade foliage and that was it for this time.

A Love Story by Tammy Klingner

Hi there 2Crafty Chipboard fans!

Tam here to share today, and this one's titled:

"A Love Story"

A layout about our newest member of our family, Ziggy who we recently gave a furever home to.

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

'A Love Story Title'

'Squiggly Heart Cluster'

'Frame Handrawn Hearts'

'ATC Tiny Hearts and Stars'

I applied white gesso to the 'Frame Handrawn Hearts', and the 'Squiggly Heart Cluster'  and left them at that!

I cut up the 'Squiggly Heart Cluster' and poked it around the photos.

I also applied white gesso to some of the hearts from the 'ATC Tiny Hearts and stars' pack.

Once dry, I added watercolours - the same colours as I used in the background.

For the 'A Love Story title', I did the same technique, however I let the colours blend, to give an ombre effect.

I've been doing this quite a bit lately  and I just love how it looks and I love that it ties the background and the title together.

"Precious" - Canvas

For my first project I created a canvas.

I have used Frame Lucy's flourish to frame the picture 

and I used Sammi's swirls behind my photo.

I tucked in the heart charm among the floral cluster.

I love how it connects the layout.

All the chipboard pieces are heat embossed with
teal and pink embossing powder.

A love story

 For my second project I created a soft feminine layout.

I love this picture I got from Pinterest,loved the ethereal look,

so to match that I kept my layout very soft and shabby.

I created a floral arrangement on one side of my picture with Heidi's vine
 as base, I used circle revolution frame behind my picture

and finished it off with the title piece.

All the chipboard pieces are heat with embossed with pink and 

white embossing powder.

I have an extra layout to share today.

I have used Frames lucy's flourish and Elise's border behind the photo.

I first gave a coat of gesso, colored it with

color bloom spray and gave

a coat of crackle paste on top for weathered look.

March Inspiration - Two Layouts PLUS TWO VIDEO TUTORIALS By Mary Catt

''A Love Story''

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Mary here with you today and I have two layouts and two video tutorials to share with you.

 The first one is a dreamy layout in pink tones filled with lots of flowers. I used Prima
 Marketing papers from the ''Wild and Free'' collection, Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and
 powders. The flowers are also Prima Marketing and the flairs are from Cuts2luv.

I have also made a VIDEO TUTORIAL of the procedure.

I based my page on the More Than Words March challenge.

Some close ups...

To create my background I applied modeling paste through a stencil. When dried,
 I added some color with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.

I heat embossed the ''Frame Jenna'' and the title chipboards with two powders, first with
 ''Gilded Burgundy Brass'' and then with the ''Hollyhock Scarlet Plum''. The chipboards
from the ''Leafy Shrub Set 2'' were embossed with ''Stardust Candy Rose'' Lindys powder.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones with gel medium.

And the second one was also made with Prima Marketing papers from the 

''Salvage District'' collection, Prima Marketing flowers, Lindy's Stamp Gang
 sprays and powders and a flair from Cuts2luv.

I based my page on the Mixed Media & Art March challenge.

 

And a closer look at the details...

I gave texture on the background with modeling paste and a stencil.
 Then, I used Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to color my page.

I heat embossed the ''Leafy Shrub Set 3'' and the title chipboards with ''Midnight Pewter''
Lindy's powder. The ''Lattice Leaves'' were embossed with ''Oakleaf Olive'' and the little ''Butterflies'' with ''Silver Moon Orchid''.

To finish, I added some Art Stones with gel medium.
