"Two Tall Christmas Cards" by Amy Voorthuis

  Goodmorning 2Crafty friends,
I am so happy that you are visiting this amazing blog, I love creating with beautiful chipboard
pieces. Today I have two Christmas cards made with the new Maja Design collection called "Woodland Christmas" and some amazing 2Crafty Chipboard pieces as shown below. I am not such a card maker but I do love making Christmas cards every once in a while.

You know what's amazing, you can order directly from the
2Crafty website here so you can also play with their amazing chipboard pieces

Two Tall Christmas Cards:

2Crafty Chipboard used:
Wicker Wreaths
Card - Word  Circle Set - Christmas
Swirly Star Border
11" Holly Frame Set
Lattice Leaves
Spring Flower Bunches

The cards are 8,25 by 4,25 inch I really love to make them that tall {because then you can put a lot of chippies on them} all the chipboard pieces are first treated with some white gesso then I altered them in different ways. Both little circulair frames are treated with some green acrylic paint and then some matte rusty brown wax and in the end I added some snow. The flowers are handmade love to do that but it's very time consuming. On the "spring flower bunches" I just added several layers of lindy sprays in a green color.

The lattice leaves are firstly treated with acrylic paint and on the tips of the leaves I added some golden embossing powder! On the card disk sentiments I also used that same embossing powder. the swirly star border I cut in half and used one piece on every card I treated that one with some red acrylic paint and some brown spray paint and inthe end some wax.

Thank you so much for your visit today and if you would like
to see more of my work please visit here & untill next time!

Picture Perfect
By Marie Claude Rodier

 Hi girls,

My turn to show you my newest project full of 2Crafty goodies. I love how easy it is to add swirls, frames and foliage to beautifully embellish any project.

My youngest son loves animals, all of them, small, big, scary or friendly. This picture is capturing this magic bond he has with them. Simply adorable!

Picture Perfect

As always, most of my chipboards were initially basecoated with white gesso. Frame Jenna was covered with dark olive watercolor pencil and highlighted with dry brushed gesso.

Picture perfect stick from Mini Title Stick Set 2 was only shorten, without any special treatment.

Spring flower bunches were highlighted with pink watercolor ink.

Florence Swirl Set was painted with dark green paint and highlighted with white gesso.

Flower Power - with Emma

Hi all, Emma with you today on the blog.
Today my inspo is flowers, now flowers are never really a go to for me.
I will add one or 2 to a layout but never many. I had fun with it this concept and this layout.
In saying that, this layout actually feels very floral for me. ;)

Here are the chippy pieces I used.....

Amelia flower stems small
Decorative Rod set 2
Spring Flower Bunches

I kept the Chipboard nice and simple, I find this really makes them a feature otherwise I think they can get lost a bit.

I painted them with a metallique acrylic paint, then once dry rubbed up to 3 different Art Alchemy wax’s over the top to add slight contrast and shine.

I love how the chipboard just shines.

I hope this layout inspires a little and you get a chance to scrap too.

I will see you all again soon.
Em xx

"Best Day Ever"
Layout By Bec Genet

Hi everyone.
It's Bec here today to share this soft girly layout with you.

The 2Crafty Chipboard used:
Flourish Clock Face
Best Day Ever Title
Spring Flower Bunches
Palm Leaves

To alter the chipboard I started by embossing the Flourish Clock Face with white
 embossing power.

I covered both the Best Day Ever title and the Spring Flower Bunches in white gesso.
I then coloured the Spring Flower Bunches with a red watercolour. I like that
watercolours can give both the dark and light tones for a colour.

I used just a very light coat of the Prima Metallique Paint in Vintage Rose on the
Best Day Ever Title to give it a very faint pink colour.

On the Palm Leaves I used a mix of the Prima Paints in Unicorns Hair and
Opal Blue Gold for a shiny finish.

I embellished my layout with die cut doilies, resin frames, lace and flowers

Thanks for visiting

I took some cardboard and I used a stencil from woodgrain to paste on some  mural paste

I painted it with Lindy's gand spray and I used gelato for my background

I cut it in pieces, each one 1,4 cm wide

I stuck it to some water colored paper

I stuck on some peices of some pages of a book to the sides

I started to create some layers with laces

Then we stick on some cheesecloth and sisal to give it some extra texture

now we choose some chipboards, I chose Spring flower bunches 2 ,6" Clock face frames and
Pointed doily frames, the smallest sizes and I painted them with acrilic

Cards word set 2 were embossed in white embossing powder

here are all the elements for decorating my cards

I began to stick everything together

Towards the end we need to add some acents glassglitter and microbeads, whatever you have in your stash and combine them with the colors, I hope you like it
