'Capture'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share some 2Crafty goodness with you.
I have created a layout using a pic of my gorgeous girl.

2Crafty Chipboard Products used:

For this layout, I have used a couple of the 'Palm Leaves',
that I have finished in a green watercolour effect.

I have also used two of the 'Shrub Set 1',
that I have finished in yellow and green watercolours.

For my title, I have used one of the words from the 'Fine Word Set 3',
again finished in the same green watercolour effect.

I hope that you like what I have created,
I am happy with how this turned out.

Until next time!

Lisa

'Grateful' layout
By Rachael Funnell

 Hello 2 Crafty fans,
Rach with you today with this fun, girly layout
featuring a selfie of me & my mother...

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:
Palm leaves
Swiggly heart cluster
Grateful Script (title)
 Flim Strip - Medium

Let's start with my fabulous background
I did something a little different & have created this
using the Sqiggly heart cluster, just like a stamp.
I added a coat of gesso tothe cluster and while
still wet pressed the cluster onto the page & repeated the process..
I just love how it has turned out...

With the Grateful (title)& Flim Strip - Medium
I have added black ink.. Which I think look great
up against the bright colours...

And Lastly the super cute Palm leaves
where I have inked with this nice green
using Tim Holtz - Distress Oxcide - Rustic Wilderness

AND thats it from me for now...
Hopefully I inpsired you to create a unique background
using a favorite piece of 2 Crafty Chipboard to your next page..
Until next time x

"Shine Bright" A layout by Bec Genet

Hi everyone.
Sadly today is my last post for 2Crafty, I have loved creating with this gorgeous chipboard
and want to thank Vanessa and Di for having me on this amazing team.
This layout is based around the Circular Leafy Frame chipboard piece, it's just so beautiful.
I've had it sitting in my stash for a while now and was unsure how to use it, but
I finally figured it out.

The 2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Circular Leafy Frame
Shine Bright Title
Mini Squiggly Bits
Palm Leaves

I started off this layout by coating the Circular Leafy Frame, Shine Bright Title and Mini Squiggly Bits of chipboard in white gesso. I used the Prima watercolours in Woodlands to add colour to the frame. I added blue tones in a random and uneven manner, I really like this variation in colour which gives the frame more interest. With the Shine Bright Title and Mini Squiggly Bits of chipboard I added some gold texture paste while the gesso was still wet, this gives just a light hint of gold. To the Palm leaves I added a deep green watercolour to the raw chipboard.

Here are some close ups:-

August Inspiration "Summer Fun" Layout
Plus a VIDEO TUTORIAL
By Marie Sabatier

On the eve of my holidays I share with you my first page for this month.

For this holiday month I wanted to scrap a lot of color and warmth.

"Summer Fun"

I chose this paper for these completely fun colors and I based myself
on the green to match the chipboards in the same theme.

Some close-ups followed by a video for more details...

The Palm Leaves fitted in perfectly with the summer, beach feel of my layout.

As did the Bamboo Palms.

Love the finish I achieved on the chipboard, perfect for a water feel.

"Best Day Ever"
Layout By Bec Genet

Hi everyone.
It's Bec here today to share this soft girly layout with you.

The 2Crafty Chipboard used:
Flourish Clock Face
Best Day Ever Title
Spring Flower Bunches
Palm Leaves

To alter the chipboard I started by embossing the Flourish Clock Face with white
 embossing power.

I covered both the Best Day Ever title and the Spring Flower Bunches in white gesso.
I then coloured the Spring Flower Bunches with a red watercolour. I like that
watercolours can give both the dark and light tones for a colour.

I used just a very light coat of the Prima Metallique Paint in Vintage Rose on the
Best Day Ever Title to give it a very faint pink colour.

On the Palm Leaves I used a mix of the Prima Paints in Unicorns Hair and
Opal Blue Gold for a shiny finish.

I embellished my layout with die cut doilies, resin frames, lace and flowers

Thanks for visiting

More February Inspiration..... With Di Garling
Using Acrylic Paints - So Super Simple
"Be Yourself"

Hello there, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have part two of my February inspiration to share with you.

2Crafty Chipboard Products Used...
Palm Leaves
Corner Doodled
Doiley Frames
Be Yourself - title

After starting off with a mixed media background I then base coated
all the chipboard pieces with white acrylic paint.

The title was then simply given a coat of navy blue acrylic paint.

All these gorgeous flowers I have used are from 49 and Market.

Next up I cut the gorgeous " Doodled Corner" in half to create a long border
instead of using it as a corner & then it was painted the same as the title.

I thought using these "Doiley Frames" to draw the eye to the photo were
the perfect chipboard choice. These were also just coloured with acrylic paint.

Lastly came the beautiful "Palm Leaves" which again were just simply painted with a
acrylic paint. Too easy. Note I have bent them up slightly to create a little dimension.

It really doesn't get much simpler than what I have done here.
Just goes to show that it doesn't have to be complicated to look great.

Until next time.
