  "Life"

  Hi everyone!  Here is my first layout for this month.   
But before we get started... Please remember to become a blog follower & leave a comment to be eligible to go in our monthly draw for a great chippie prize pack. The more comments you leave, the more chances to win.   On this layout I used my precious Gelatos to create my butterfly  background. I used them with my finger to create a color gradient.   

I also altered "Mini Branches" with my gelatos and my finger.  I used the same technique as my butterfly.  

I used the chippie title, "This is my life" as title.  I cut it apart, & cut the   (This is my) off & I only kept the word "Life" which I then embossed in purple.  

  In my photo, I used a "Circle Dot Frame" to add more depth to the picture.  I colored with my navy acrylic paint. After, I added some glitter details with  Ranger purple glue glitter.

My next creation is a summer page because I'm impatient to see the summer sun. I used the word "Forever" from the "Friendship Mini Word pack".  I used Tsukineko Irresistible Pico on the chippie word.  

 

  My "Soft Feather" is altered with 13arts acrylic paint and I added some drops  with Tsukineko Irresistible Spray 3D.  

 

I added some pieces of "Sequins Negative Bits" that I painted with white gesso.

"This Is My Life"  

  Hello  2Crafty Chipboard fans!

Today I have two layouts to show you.
The two are rather different in style, just as myself, I cannot be the same all the time LOL.

The first one is a simple layout that shows what effect some of the gorgeous  2Crafty chippies can make on a layout. I chose a kraft background and a black and white photo of myself,  playing with my art journals. 

Love this large text chipboard and it was perfect for the photo.

All the chippies are colored with black ink.

I used some teal /mica powder as a contrast, love that color.

The flair button says " just now".

Here you see some of the stamping on the background.

I tried to write with black acrylic paint. Wasn't too happy how it turned out,

 but never mind, it's my own handwriting.

The next layout shows myself and our two daughters on our trip to London earlier this year.

Here we are in St. James Park, the park is located near Buckingham Palace.

On this layout I used some of the awesome word chippies from Mini Word set 2 and 

Mini Travel Word Set 1. Absolutely love those word-chippies. They can be 

used on layouts like mine or on cards, as the size isn't too big.

As usual my background is filled with mediums, ink, paint, stencils and stamps.

I colored the chippies with ink in different colors, to match my background.

Lots going on on the background as you can see.

The Leafy Shrub Set was a perfect match for the photo as we were in a lovely park. 

I used two of the chippies from that set.

Had to add some flowers on this one and used some Gesso to tone the colors down a bit.
