"These Moments" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everybody,

I come to present to you my second inspiration of this month of April.  

A layout in purple and yellow tones, I love the union of these two colors.

"These Moments" 

The 2Crafty Chipboards Used:

- These Moments

- Steampunk Border 9 Inch

- Doily Frames 

I just got this new "Steampunk Border 9 Inch" chipboard and I couldn't wait to use it.

As always, I apply a layer of white gesso on each chipboard.

I worked the same way on the "Steampunk Border" and "Doily Frame" chipboards, a first coat of Finnabair's "Iris Potion" acrylic paint and then small touches of "Bronze Age" metallic wax.

On the title just wax to obtain a patina effect. 

I then placed it over my photo and lightly over the frame.

I added this photo taken at an angle so I can show you how the "Steampunk" 

chipboard stands out in my layout arrangement.

So that the chipboard appears in relief I fixed it on this strip of paper which 

I glued with 3D adhesive foam.

I hope you liked this layout and you can use one of these new beautiful chipboards.

These Moments by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends! 

Yaaaay! Our annual family vacations are finally here and you all know what it means: it's time to let the pressure off and go a little crazy!! We started this amazingly yesterday with a bunch of nice frozen treats for everyone, and my son Liam was pretty proud of his blue tongue. This inspired me to prepare this layout, which I found captured the mood quite well.

"These Moments"

I left the "Steampunk Gears", behind the frame, to their natural chipboard color, as I found it blended very well with the shades I had chosen for the other chipboard pieces.

On the "Wire Stars", I sprayed some navy blue metallic paint.

For the "Steampunk Arrow Set", I applied white and blue embossing enamel.

On the title, "These Moments", I applied 2 coats of navy blue paste using a brush. For the "Diamond Chunk Bits" behind the picture, I applied charcoal metallic paint roughly to let the original chipboard finish show through a little.

Here I am back with a new page.
 My inspiration this photo of "Preyston" a little boy of 8 months that I 
mind and he makes me crack up with his adorable naughty smile.

I took this close-up that I could frame with this beautiful chipboard
 "Dotted Heart Circle Frames" and decided to frame the title too.

Of course I chose my paper and colors according to my photo.

I applied white gesso on each chipboard and then

 used a copper-colored embossing powder.

For the title I also chose to heat emboss it also in a lovely shiny Metallic Gold.

For chipboard Grid panel I just applied some gold paint.

I have added two ATC Word Banners, "unforgettable" and "journey" 

on to the circle frame and I think that it shows very well. I didn't add

 anything to them, they were left their natural color

And finally, I added some embellishments.
