Daisy Art Cards by Tania Ridgwell

  Hello there!

Tania popping in today to share the first of my DT projects for May.
I have created a set cards for my first share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Decorative Doily Flourish Frame
*Decorative Circle Accents Set 1
*Frame Retro Set
*Photo Adornment - Element Set 3

I created each of my card bases using the beautiful Stamperia "Daisy Art" Paper Collection.

For these cards I kept the large Decorative Circle Accent & Photo Adornment
chippie pieces raw.  The Decorative Doily Flourish Frame, smaller Decorative Circle Accent & Frame Retro chippies have all been coloured with a white Posca paint pen.
as I think it suited the colours in the papers perfectly.

To construct each of the cards I added either a Decorative Circle Accent,  Decorative Doily Flourish Frame, Frame Retro or Photo Adornment chippies to each.  I then embellished them with coordinating Stamperia chipboard Die Cuts and paper blooms.

See each card below.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all a little with my Daisy Art Cards.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Altered Blossom Serenity Drawers
by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!
Tania joining you today to share the last of my DT projects for November.  I have altered a Wooden Set of Drawers.  I created a set of these drawers in Purple tones a while back and gifted them to a work colleague for one of his daughters as she loves the colour Purple.  As he has two daughters and the other one loves Pink and because I love making anything BTP I was more than happy to create another set in Pink tones.  And couldn't give a set to one and not to the other lol!

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Mollie's Butterfly Set
*Photo Adornment - Adornments Set 1
*Photo Adornment - Element Set 3

I have used the stunning Mintay "Blossom Serenity" Collection to decorate my drawers.

I gave the Mollie's Butterflies & Photo Adornment - Element Set 3 chippie pieces a light coat of gesso and once dry I painted them with some Dylusions Rose Quartz paint.  I coloured the Photo Adornment - Adornments Set 1 chippies with Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine Spray.
I decorated each of the drawers with assorted die cut elements and paper blooms.  I cut one of the Photo Adornment Element chippies in half and added a half to a top and bottom drawer amongst the die cut elements and the paper blooms.  I added some of the Flourish Motif chippies from the Adornments Set 1 to a couple of the drawers.  I decorated the top of the drawers with more die cut elements and paper blooms, tucked in the Mollie's Butterflies, Flourish Motifs from the Adornments Set 1& a Photo Adornment Element chippies amongst the embellishments and then added one of the Border Motifs from the Adornments Set 1 along the front.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Altered set of Drawers.  Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Altered Graceful Wooden Drawers by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!
Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for May.
I have an altered set Wooden of  rawers to share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Fine & Fancy Butterfly Set
*ATC Butterflies
*Photo Adornment - Element Set 3

I have used the stunning Mintay "Graceful" Collection to decorate my drawers.  It's an older collection but one of my all time favourites, I love the prints but it may also be because it's PURPLE!! 😊

I gave all the chippie pieces a couple of coats of gesso and once dry I randomly dabbed on Dylusions Laidback Lilac Paint onto all them.  I decorated each of the drawers with assorted fussy cut elements and paper blooms.  I cut one of the Photo Adornment Element chippies in half and added a half to a top and bottom drawer amongst the fussy cut elements and the paper blooms.  I added some of the ATC Butterfly chippies to each of the drawers.  I decorated the top of the drawers with more fussy cut elements and paper blooms, tucked in the Fine & Fancy and half Photo Adornment Elements chippies amongst the embellishments and then added some ATC Butterfly chippies.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Altered set of Drawers.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Father & Son Moment - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!
I love scrapping photos of my husband with our sons.

2Crafty Products used:

Suzie's Swirls
Filmstrips - Small
Father & Son Moment
Circle Dot Frame
6" Circle Revolution
Mini Checkerboard Bits
Photo Adornment - Element Set 3

I painted the circle revolution frame, the element set 3 and the filmstrip to be slightly different then the rest of the altered chipboard.

The other pieces I started with heavy texture paste

I then began layering different shades of blues and browns to achieve the look I wanted.

After the mists dried I inked the edges and a bit of the raised texture.
