“Treasure The Little Things”
By Marie Claude Rodier

Hi 2Crafty fans!
I’m here today to show you an extra layout I made this month using some of my
 favorite 2Crafty chipboards.

When I chose my chiboards for a new layout, I always start by looking for a frame. I love them so much! They are a great focal point and add details to a picture. Nowadays, I always add a mini stick title somewhere. It’s an easy way to express a sentiment or to complement a title.

Treasure

I used Bronze wax to cover Frame Round Ornate and then randomly added white gesso
on top of it, and finally I added a few touches of vintage gold wax.

I painted my title, Treasure the little things, with burgundy watercolor and highlighted
it with a few brushes of white gesso.

Life is good, from Mini Title Stick Set 1, was partially covered with a few touches of white gesso.

I used the same bronze wax/white gesso for Film Strips Small but also added a
few touches of mint wax to recreate a vintage patina effect.

August Inspiration - A Layout and a Canvas
PLUS TWO VIDEO TUTORIALS
By Mary Catt

''Friends Forever''

Hello 2Crafty friends!
I have two projects to share with you, today! Lets start with the first one which is a layout.

I also made a video tutorial on how I made it.

I based this layout on the August challenge over at More than Words Challenge blog and on Prima Marketing PPP August Challenge.

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboards...
6" Circle Revolution Frames
Bubble Clumps
Mini Word Set 2
Friendship Mini Word Pack

When I found this beautiful photo on Pinterest, I wanted to create a summery and fresh layout.

The paper I used is from Prima Marketing ''Salvage District'' Collection. To create my background I used Lindy's Stamp Gang mist, several stamps from my stash and the flowers are also Prima Marketing.

I heat embossed the two word titles from the ''Mini Word Set 2'' and the
''Friendship Mini Word Pack'' with
''Spanish Moss Green'' Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder. The ''Circle Frame'' was treated the same way.

The ''Bubble Clumps'' were also heat embossed with the ''Desert Moon Turquoise'' Lindy's powder.

''Happy Today''

The second project is a colourful canvas.

Here is my video tutorial on how I made this canvas.

Film Strips-Small

I have based my canvas on the August challenge over at Lindy's Stamp Gang Challenge Blog.

I created my background with mixing light paste with four different magicals and applied them trought a stencil. You can see which colours I used in the video above.

I heat embossed the two ''Word Circles'' with ''Desert Moon Turquoise'' and the ''Film Strip'' with the ''Hydrangea Blue Mauve'' Lindy's embossing powder.

The chipboards from ''Asst Mini Camera Set'' were also heat embossed with ''Ceranium Coral Blush''.

Well, that's all from me today...
Thank you so much for stopping by!!!
