"august"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

This summer we visited "Collioure" a charming little town in the department of the Pyrénées Orientales in France. I fell in love and especially I loved the facades of the houses and the doors also with multiple colors, flowery and full of charm.

I was tempted to make a presentation, so this is a first, I hope you will like it.

The 2Crafty chipboard used:

- Corner Ivy
- Polaroid Asst Frames
- Mini Bicycles
- Mini-Word Set 2
- Fine Word Set - Month

I first apply a layer of white gesso on each chipboard.

For the chipboard "Corner Ivy", I sprayed the ink "Rusty Lantern Lime" of Lindy’s Gang,
it shines slightly and brings a nice finish to the chipboard.

To fix it I raised the upper part with cardboard a little meticulous but it works perfectly,
the ivy leaves are just laid on the photos.

To frame a photo, I use the chipboard "Polaroid Asst Frames" I wanted to get closer to the color of the pavers of the floor, I superimposed several shades of wax including rust and bronze.

For the titles, I used an extra-white paint, like the background of my paper
and so they stand out perfectly.

For the bike, I proceed in the same way as the polaroid, and I place it at the bottom of my page,
I thought that this place was made for him.

As always, I loved creating with these beautiful chipboards.

Thank you for stopping by, and hope to see you again very soon... on this site.

'Family is Everything'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some more
album inspiration with you.

For this one, I have used some cute photos
of my Grandfather and his older sister.

2Crafty Products used:

For this page,
I have used one of the 'Assorted Mini Camera Set',
which I have left raw.

I have also used one of the '6 x 4 Phrase Stick Set 3' for my title,
and I have added some metal embellishments to.

I have used some pieces of the 'Fencing Wire Panel',
that I have embossed in black and gold powders.

For this page, I have used one of the 'Mini Bicycles',
to continue the cycling theme of the page.

I have also used two of the 'Mini Family Icons'
on my page. I think these are so cute!

And finally a little more of the fencing panel pieces.
I hope that you like what I have created,
I am really happy with how this album is coming together.

Until next time!

Lisa

August Inspiration Projects With Jaya Raghuvanshi

"ADVENTURE"
Hello 2Crafty fans!

Hope you were inspired by the Design team's inspiring projects this month.
Today I too have a few layouts to share with you  all.
I love this picture of my hubby and so I decided to make a masculine page this time.

 Some close ups-

I chose the "Adventure" loopy font title for my page and covered it in black gesso.
I applied some gesso on the Interlocking grid Panel chippie and once it was dry I
 coloured it using watercolours.
I cut it into several pieces and arranged around my composition..

2Crafty Chippie pieces used-
Adventure loopy font
Interlocking grid pattern

"CHERISH"

Some close ups-

I chose the gorgeous Ava's frame and heat embossed it with shabby white embossing
enamel. I cut it up and rearranged it around my flower cluster.

I simply love the beautiful fonts released this year. You must check them out!
The "Cherish" title is from the Fine Word set 1 and I covered it in white acrylic paint.
The other chippies have been covered in white gesso and then watercoloured.

Elena's New Experiments

"Those Were the Days"

Hello everyone.  It is my turn to share some  projects today,
and this time I decided to experiment using techniques that I rarely
do on chipboard, but they are worth a try.

So the first LO is called Those Were The Days.
Spring is coming in Australia, but in Europe it is Fall.
That is why I look at these pictures that were taken this spring &summer
and miss those sunny warm days so much. I have to confess
that I hate winter, and this is why  I decided to extend
 summer in my projects.
So I took many paints and mediums and
started playing.

First I covered all the chipboard pieces with Gesso.
Then I began to add some variations.
So I took the Frame Scallop Circle Borders

The pink one I just covered with Glaze paint, and the blue one,
I covered with blue acrylic paint, then drew some doodles with a Pearl Pen.
After it was dried I added  twine over it and drew the dots with
Pearl Pen Teal.  I love this puffy effect.
I decided to pop up the Title too and tried this Pearl Pen
on Those Were The Days Title.

Before the final pearl Pen step, I added several layers of Glaze paint.
and then I realized that I want just wanted to draw.
So Ana's Vine is the best way to experiment
 with this.

I covered it with Gesso, then added 2 green colors of
Metallic Lumiere paint. After that I covered the leaves and the flowers
with some acrylic paint and glaze paint.

Finally I took my black marker and drew. I even managed to draw a tulip.
Finally I decided to add Pearl Pen and liquid Pearls too.
You can see the dimension there:

This summer my daughter received a mountain bicycle on her Birthday
( by the way, there are no  mountains in Belarus, lol),
but she was very happy to have such a cool bike
Before that she had  been very happy with her scooter ( in this photo).
I decided to add Mini bicycle as the reminder. and you know,
I'm still singing the song by Queen * I want to ride my bicycle*.

"Beautiful"
On my second Layout I tried out  some decoupage techniques.

I took a tissue with floral print and covered the Chinese Lanterns with it.
I used to do some decoupage projects in the past
so I have tons of different tissues, so I tried them out  on chipboard.

I suppose they refresh the LO. what do you think?
and this Chinese theme followed me while I was using

I covered them with Gesso, then misted with blue Starburst mist
and embossed with a stamp using Antiquites embossing powder
 for a shabby effect.

I then  added my favourite 2 Crafty  Skeleton Leaves,
 just slightly misted.

I hope you are not bored with so many photos,
but I love details.
 Finally one of my
latest layout using Film Strips Tiny

Nothing special, just some gesso on my fingers.

I hope I have inspired you to try something new on some
2 Crafty chipboard pieces.
You can  alternatively, even use them for your
drawings and decoupage experiments too.

I am very happy when you visit me on my blog,
but more over we are happy when you visit us on the
 leaving us some comments and
perhaps even  sharing you projects with us.

  Have a nice day
Elena
