'May 2022' layout
by Rachael Funnell

Hello everyone!
Rach back with you sharing some more 2 Crafty inspo
This masculine layout featuring my boy and some really great 2 Crafty Chipboard

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Medium Steampunk gears
Steampunk arrow set 1
Fine word Monthly set
Small Steampunk gears
2022
Mini Fast forward arrows

Lets' start with the Steampunk arrow set 1
Where I have one sitting either side on my photo
I have just simply inked the both of the ink black..

Next up I had a couple of the steampunk gears in both medium
and small added two coats of gesso to these gears then added them
to my layout... I aslo did the same treatment to the Fine Monthly Word - May.

I decided that I wasn't going to add a title to this page
but instead added the month & year,
which I thought would work as my title 'May 2022'

While I was going though my stash I noticed
I still had a couple Mini Fast forward arrows
and I thought they would work well on this layout
so I inked these & the 2022 with the same pale blue..

I'm pretty Chuffed wit how this page turned out..
I hope I have inspired you in some way
Until next time, HAPPY crafting

'Unconditional love'
layout by Rachael Funnell

Hello Everyone!
Rach back with you today sharing another layout I created
using some really great 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces...

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Funky Rectangle panel
2022
Mini Title Stick set 5
Mini Fast forward arrows

Inspired by the colors from this fabulous photo of our furbaby Storm....
I inked this Funky Rectangle panel with this great rustic orange using Tim Holtz-Rusty hinge.
I then cut the panel in half & placed it on either side of my photo...

The 2022 I simply inked with black, I also inked with black a couple of the
Mini fast-forward arrows and place the arrows at the top and bottom of the photo...

And lastly, for the title 'Unconditional Love' which is just perfect for this and well
Mini Title Stick set 5 and using a paintbrush to apply two layers of gesso...

Thanks for popping by
I do hope I have inspired you in someway
Until next time!

'Let the adventure begin'
by Tammy Klingner

Hello there 2Crafty creatives.
Tam here today to share my latest creation.

'Let the Adventure Begin'

A layout celebrating the moment my girl got her Learner's Licence.
Yikes!! Definitely a moment that needs to be scrapped.

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

'Adventure' loopy font Title
'Steampunk Cog Strips'
'Steampunk Gears Small'
'Mini Fast Forward Arrows'

I began by colouring the 'Steampunk Cog Strips'.
I added a bit of this and a bit of that until I was happy with the mix.

I swiped a bit of black gesso, then added some metallique wax, some turquoise ink and a bit of copper wax too.

I did the same to the 'Steampunk Gears - Small'.
I really love the touches of turquoise.

I applied white gesso to the 'Adventure loopy font title'.
Once dry I added some swipes of turquoise ink and a touch of metallique wax too.

I painted a couple of the arrows from the 'Mini Fast Forward Arrows' in black gesso.
I popped out the inner arrows and then to the circular arrows I added some white pen marks.

Fun to use both of these arrows on the layout.

There you have it!

I hope this page has inspired you.

I'll be back again a bit later in the month for my next share.

Until then you can head to my BLOG for further inspiration.

'Hello'
Scrapbook Layout By Kripa Koushik

Hello friends,

Today is my final post for 2crafty as my term with them finishes this month. I have had
a great time working with this fabulous team lead by Vanessa and supported by Di.
I also thank all of you for your loving comments and encouragement.

"Hello"

My layout today is inspired by CSI Case 268 which
2crafty chipboard is sponsoring this month.

The base is a collage of vintage red and green pattern paper over which I've added some Lindy Stamp Gang mists and stamping. All the chipboard pieces were first coated with white gesso. In the below close-up two pieces are visible - View Finder and the title which is from Arrow Word Set 2.

The View Finder chipboard had some teal paint on it (probably painted for another project but never used). To conceal it, I painted over to make it look neutral and as close to the colour of the wood grain background pattern paper. The word 'Love' from the Arrow Word Set 2 was also painted the same way and then the word was coloured with red stamp pad.

One more piece behind the layers on the left side is the word Hello from the Word Bubbles Set. After painting with white gesso, Ive stamped over with red ink and a script stamp.

My final selection of chipboard is tiny arrows from the Mini Fast Forward Arrows Set.
They have been inked with black archival ink and used to direct the viewer towards the
photograph on the top right corner of the layout.

2crafty chipboard used:
- View Finder
- Word Bubbles
- Arrow Word Set 2
- Mini Fast Forward Arrows

Thank you all for visiting us today.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance!

Creative Hugs,
Kripa

August Inspiration by Tammy Klingner PLUS a Process Video

Hello 2 Crafty lovelies!

I'm here to share my latest creations.

My first project this month has a You Tube process VIDEO and it's titled...

"Capture the Sillies"

A fun layout that captures every day life at my place!

I used the following 2 Crafty Chipboard:
"Hessian Patch Panels"
"Punctuation"
"Chevron Bits"
"Mini Fast Forward Arrows"
"Mini Word Set 1"

I painted the "Hessian Patch Panels" black

I also did this to the "Chevron Bits" and the bracket from the "Punctuation" Set.
I love how black really pops against white and bright colours.

I used some of my favourite colours in this layout.  I adore teal and lime together.

I also painted the word 'capture' from the "Mini Word Set 1" pack in a black, and then I
swiped some of Finnabair's Art Alchemy Opal Magic Acrylic Paint in Aqua/Rose over the top.

On white it has a pink colour, but when applied to a black background it turns this amazing teal!

I also applied this technique to the "Mini Fast Forward Arrows"

You'll see it on the video I've posted below......pink in the jar, but changes once applied to the black! Super cool!
Fantastic on chipboard as there's no heat gun required!!

You can watch me create this layout, as I've created a You Tube video:

My second layout is titled:

"Forever"

A layout about love and laying on the grass watching the clouds go by......
I wish everyday could be like this.

I used the following 2 Crafty Chipboard:
"Fine Word Set 1"
"Grid Bits"
"Mini Branches"
"Messy Squares"

I applied white gesso to the "Messy Squares" and the "Mini Branches".

I also applied white gesso to the "Grid Bits", and then added some watercolours in a peach colour.

I really like the variegated colour that watercolour brings,
rather than the usual bold style I tend to gravitate to.

I painted the 'forever' from the "Fine Words Set 1" in black paint.
I love how this contrasts with the softer corals and also highlights the background.

This photo has been in my 'to scrap' pile for a while now......so nice to finally scrap it!!

I created a layout recently for a challenge over at Kraft plus, which was to use roses in 3 ways.

Of course my entry had 2 Crafty Chipboard on it, so thought I'd share it here as well.

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

Rose Vine Border
Lattice Leaf Set

I painted the lattice leaves black - I do this so often as I love the way it 'pops' on the page.

I painted the rose vine border black too and then added some
Finnabair Opal Magic Paint in Aqua Rose.
I love this product, on white it's a soft pink, and on black you get this fabulous metallic teal.
Just wipe it on with your fingers.

Too easy!

So that's it from me!!
Hope I've inspired you this month.
