"cherish" Layout by Marie Sabatier

 

Hello everyone,

I present my second inspiration for this month of November. An old fashioned couture decor. 

With my granddaughter, we did a photo shoot and it made me want 

to do this layout using these chipboards. 

"cherish"

The 2Crafty chipboard used:

- Mini Words Set 2

- Flowers Doilies 3

- Embroidery Hoop Set Large

- Mini Scissors

I used several chipboards of 2Crafty Chipboard, these are beautiful embellishments

which always find an important place in the pages!

I first applied a layer of white gesso, then I used two shades of metallic wax "Bronze Age" 

and "White Gold" which I rubbed with my fingers and at random.

To reduce the metallic effect I finished with a layer of natural opal wax. 

I love slipping the chipboards in the middle of the papers. 

They bring a lot of charm to the layouts.

A mini-title to bring a feeling to my layout. They are practical and too cute.

"A Moment to Treasure" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello faithful friends of 2Crafty.

Here I am for my second inspiration of this March.

I don't really like the month of March, it is often cold and gray here in France 

so I need colors and softness.

I chose this photo of my little girl on the day of her baptism, 

I love her little face so much.

"A Moment to Treasure"

2Crafty Chipboard used:

- A Moment to Treasure

- Emboridery Hoop Set Large

- 12 inch Carmens Flourish Border

As always, I started by applying a coat of white gesso to the chipboards.

 I embellished all the chipboards the same way.

I applied Lindy's Gang's "Café au lait" colored embossing powder. 

But I didn't want a smooth effect so I rubbed it with a nail file.

I superimposed two "Emboridery Hoop" particle boards

 I love the importance of the particle boards to highlight the photo.

I used the "Carmen Flourish Border" particle board to underline my two pages.

As always, I highlighted the title and at the end of my page

 I ended up adding a Finnabair "Lucky Emerald" antique brilliance wax to the chipboard.

"Love to Pose" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone.

Here is my second page for this month of April.

I chose to make a page full of sweetness we need so much comfort in these
 difficult times. I used a photo of my little girl "Mia".

"Love to Pose"

2Crafty Chipboards used :

- Love to Pose

- Embroidery Hoop Set Large

- Berry Vine Set

As usual I applied a layer of white gesso on the chipboards.

I used embossing powder on each chipboard. Only the colours vary and also

 the way in which the powder is heated. This allows for different effects.

I started my layout by placing the "Embroidery hoop" chipboard.

I then superimposed papers and embellishments before placing my 

photo and finally framing it with the same chipboard but smaller.

Then I placed the "Berry Vine" chipboard which I embossed

 in two different colours to add some colour.

And the title which I underlined in black, so that it is an essential part of my layout.

Here it is finished.
