I enjoyed leaving the pieces a little natural to work in with the background and so
I didn't alter the circle frame at all.

For the 'Happy Birthday' title I coloured with blue colour spray - this was such a quick
way to add the colour to the piece of chipboard!
I applied some brown distress ink to the edges of the triangles to give them
more depth and interest as well as working in better with the background.
"Cherish"
For my second layout, I once again had fun with the chipboard, this time creating layers
for added depth. I love how the chipboard pieces create a beautiful feature to this page.
Altering chipboard really helps to create dimension and interest as in this page,
as they all build on the colours in the photo and the background.
The "cherish" word was simply inked with black ink for a striking contrast.
Applying a coat of the Indigoblu Flitter glue and mega flack really transforms the pieces
of chipboard for a completely different look.
Tucked in the foliage looks so beautiful and adds more interest to the page.

Layering up the pieces really takes focus to the photo.
