Hi Everyone!

Trudi back with you on the 2Crafty blog. For my first creation today, I have used lots

of lovely 2Crafty loveliness to build and construct my version of a peacock.

This is where my inspiration started from in its natural state

The peacock body created with Alison's Corner and the beautiful cascading plumage of a peacock tail replicated with the layering of Handrawn Feathers, Large Leafy Vine and Leafy Shrub Set 1.

The canvas background was created, taking inspiration from the lush toning of a peacock's plumage.

I worked with Ken Oliver Color Burst powders and water, texture paste and mica flakes.

2Crafty elements have been painted with Dina Wakley White Heavy Body Acrylic Paint.

Color Burst Powder was activated with water to add a little colour and a fine sprinkling of holographic glitter for some sparkle. A few crystal gems have been placed to replicate

the eye effect that we see in a peacocks feather.

The paint 'bubbled' effect on the chipboard was created by drying the wet paint with a heat gun.

A slight opalescent effect for the mini word 'always' was created with Tinby Metallic Melts - Glistening Snow was heat set over the top of black ink.

"Enjoy" - CANVAS

For my next project, I have once again altered a canvas and created a pretty scene

with 2Crafty Chipboard pieces.

All the chipboard elements have been given a touch of shabby appeal with white paint. A

few leaf tips from the leafy shrub set were accented with purple Color Burst powder and water.

I just adore this window shutter set and assembled it so that it is three dimensional.
Fussy cut floral elements and flowers have been layered with the leafy twig branches
in a cascading effect to replicate a hanging basket of beautiful blooms.

The Victorian Lamp Post and Mail Box are both stunning pieces. A little Diamond Dust

was also applied on the top of the lamp post with a light accent of purple.

The Mail Box has been affixed over the top of the lamp post.

Lastly, I will leave you with a project that I have created for the Kraft+ Challenge Site. October's challenge is Kraft + 'Inspired by Nature'. Again I have used an assortment of 2Crafty loveliness to replicate the flowing hair of the girl. "Beauty" Youth and beauty fade, character lasts forever
