2 Crafty Chipboard : July Inspiration With Jaya Raghuvanshi

Hello everyone! This is Jaya here. Today I have my two layouts plus a couple more I want to share with you all. I am so happy to be on the 2Crafty DT. I have always loved their chipboard designs and now I get to design for them! Isn't that awesome? Amaze Yourself!

My first page 'Amaze yourself' focuses on how well the bubble clump chipboard pieces go with my marine layouts. I am totally in love with these chippies. They just tie everything together and just go so well with this picture and background. Love it!

The 'Amaze Yourself' chipboard title is one of my favourites. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder first and while it was still hot I sprinkled some black embossing powder
on top to give it that speckled look. It was a fun way to mimic the bubbles in the picture.

I love how these chippies mimic the bubbles in the background. Adhering some
Prima pebbles on top of a few of them gave them the 3D look I was looking for.
It really makes the whole page pop.

I have used one of the Messy Square Frames to highlight the subject in the photo,
these frames are fine enough to add contrast without taking too much away from the photo.
Its hard to see in the picture as its really dull and cloudy in my part of the world and
these were the best clicks I could manage in such a weather. But I hope it gives you the idea :)

Off to my next layout. My second layout is this really soft and beautiful page. I just loved creating this one. Have a look! 'My Happy Place'

Making this page was so much fun especially because of those wonderful chipboard pieces

I chose to work with. Do you realize that this layout makes use of nothing but them?

I mean no embellishments whatsoever! I was thrilled to have achieved this.. Whoohoo!!!

I really wanted the chippies to be the hero in my project and I guess I pulled it off..

The 'My happy place' chippie has some black texture spray to it and the heart chippie
has been heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I have used the larger of the Hand-drawn Heart frames, and again, these frames are

delicate enough to add on top of the photo, without loosing any of the subject.

The flower corner chippies have been coloured with some inks and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I sprinkled it some fine glitter as well while it was still hot. I used the following 2 crafty chipboard pieces on my work- Handdrawn heart frames Corner Spring Flowers My Happy Place
